With the Canton trade fair coming up, understandably, there is going to be lot of "Newby" postings asking for information etc. and I would like to make my suggestion to you all as we in China can be quite reticient on sharing information - reason being that Chinese LE methods can be quite pervasive - plus we have had many intances when we try to help out newbies but have instead gotten flames in return.

The info with public transport including taxi distance, massage types and time would be most helpful. PM is also okay.
Cantonese names for massages if different from Mandarin.

Hi All,

Thank you again for all the wise words, great information and tips. It's now my turn to enjoy the festivities, women and sights in Guangzhou. Said its my first time, I've RTFF many times over in order to make the most of my 3 days there.

The Bars and Clubs I will be heading to are:
Tang
Paddy Field
Kama (I hear the imports are great here)

I will definitely be visiting the Victory Hotel too seeing that its foreigner friendly :)

In addition, I'd like to check out some SW but unsure if the mentioned hotel above (The Westin Guangzhou) or the Shangis girl friendly.

Anyone care to shed light on the above?

Any other tips or advice on the current mongering environment would be appreciated. I'll be in GZ in March.

The reason is that we on the China boards ARE very concerned about LE presence and the real possibility of putting our contacts/providers in danger PLUS we've had MANY intances when we try to help out and instead get flamed in return. Nice!

First thing first, I would of course recommend strongly that you do RTFF (Read the forum first) before asking questions, pay the subscription to Jackson and then PM us individuallly for your now well researched question.

For me, I also DO look at a questioner's "bona fides" by going thru his previous posts before replying - and I believe that most others here would also do the same. So if you have no posting history, I believe that you will only have yourself to blame for NOT getting any replies.

And last I would recommend you reading our resident China/Beijing expert Sammy T's guide to Beijing which also contains many nuggets of information which applies to China generally - [post]990547[/post]

Thank you SEAJ for your kind advice and response to my question.

In response to your comment that I pay my subscription to Jackson if you can see the status of those asking the question then you would have observed that I have paid a subscription levy and that was so that I could post inane questions to a larger group rather single anyone out for a PM.

I am a regular poster on forums and do not hide or change names for different forums and I am happy for you refer to these forums as I am a new poster on this site [url]http://auxxxreviews.com[/url] and [url]http://www.Myhookerguide.com[/url] to name a couple.

You also mentioned that I should "read the forum first" curiously I wonder what makes you think that I haven't.

FYI I have had trouble posting and this was relayed to Jackson and all seems OK now so more posts will be forthcoming which I hope meets your criteria for positive interaction with your fellow forum members rather than just criticisms.

I have no wish to offend but I will address those criticisms that are levelled at me publicly. I just wonder that if PM's are they way to go then why not PM me with your comments?
