Converted, this is about $150. I'm gettin the same thing in Sosua for $27. Any doubts on a major reason for leaving BA?
Thanks, but I believe you are very much out of date!
Well sure, if you're going to pay 4 times the going rates, like those numbers for BA represent, no place is going to be a bargain. The fact of the matter is, there are dozens of Privados in BA where a perfectly nice roll in the sack can be had for 100 pesos. Or under $30 US. Even a top drawer experience shouldn't run more than 300 pesos, which is around $80 US And in BA, you can also get a superb steak dinner for under $15 US all over the place, and you're in one of the more cosmopolitan cities on the planet, not a shithole dump like Sosua. Other than beach, and proximity to the USA, Sosua has nothing on Buenos Aires, and it's silly to claim otherwise.
The inflation has wrecked p4p and restaurant prices. Please list the 100 peso Privado's and restaurants with qualty $15 steaks. Curious minds want to know! Regards, Silly Sid
BTW, all steak or other meat meals are served a la carte
Prove your claims, and I'll return on the next plane to my home of 6 years. Strange, I never met you there. We will meet and enjoy the opera, symphony, plays in Spanish, art shows, jazz, soccer, parks, mas. Are you related to Jackson? And dine on beef and Malbec wine.
If a steak cost $20, you must pay extra for, papas, veggies, salad, pasta, drinks, etc. So the total meal with tip could be $40-$45!
