Dipped my toes into craigslist again recently. Should follow my own rules about getting the girls on cam first. Of course she sent me the best possible photos with the promise of an amazing rimjob. Back from JK since one week, here is a short report. Sorry, but English is not my best language.

I was 2 times 3 nights in JK, i stayed in fave hotel / blok m (good choise price / quality, only the breakfast is very poor for a westener) and I had a very good time and this with thanks to the very up to date wsg jk forum. I travel a lot and I consult the WSG forums very regular and believe me. The JK forum is one of the most efficient forums of the site, so. Thanks brothers for your very useful info.

I went to:

Maribaya massage (blok m): first i took a beer and some time to look around but finally choose a girl, very kind, nice body, good massage and at the end good service, 600.000 + 100.000 tip.

Cj at hotel mulia: nice place, many people and live music. Very good to look around, spend some hours and take some beers, plenty of top class lady's but they give me a feeling of big professionals and i (I'm 60!) am not sure if there service is proportional to their 1. 500.000 rate! For me a place to visit but not to take a girl out.

Hard Rock Café: this is a splendid design restaurant with life music, but not a Hard Rock Café, it is a cool place without ambiance, everybody is sitting in club chairs on tables, only me was on the bar. This is a shame for the hard rock status.

Blok m: took 3 times (from dees bar, my bar and top gun) a girl to my hotel and 3 times very satisfied, 2 short times and 1 overnight, always 300.000 + 40.000 for taxi.

Kartika spa: splendid soap massage, like to go every day, the place is not big class but OK, I was 3 times and 3 times with the same pretty girl (30 y) with a very nice body and excellent service, 350.000 + 100.000 tip + 45.000 for a big beer.

I had a very good time in JK and like to go back next year, thank you for the very useful information on the forum.

Am also happy to read that you enjoyed Kartika, my all-time favorite place in Jakarta. Just curious. Since you went there 3 times, why didn't you try a two-girl combo during one of your visits? Stick with the girl you had enjoyed before and ask her to choose a second girl. Heaven on earth! Oh well, maybe during your next visit.

I've been hoping to check out immigrant, how would you guys compare this with BATS. In regards to WGs.

Never been to immigrant. But BATS is a very good place for pickups.

But lots of girls that will easily cost you 1 m in drinks in any one night.

If you are good looking, and a funkstar, or look wealthy. Then yes you will score, but you got to be 'the man' and exude confidence and wealth.

And you cannot compare BATS to Immigrant.

BATS is for white guys to find W / GS, some classy but most not. Think Brix at the Hyatt in Singapore and you got it.

Immigrant is for very classy Indo girls to find wealthy guys (usually chinese, but some euro white guys and some wealthy indos) .

Guys are classy looking. Most girls arent on the take but will cost you more in their drinks for the night than BATS will.

Simply, BATS is a sure thing, and the girls from Immigrant would never step foot into BATS.

Immigrant is a challenge, especially solo and without a group.

Depends a bit on your age. My personal easier options to score compared to Immigrant are Dragonfly, Fable, X2.

Going with a bunch of Indonesian guys especially the Chinese they are quite fragile and aren't too keen of having a foreigner pull one of their girls. The whole concept of going as a group and working together to pull doesn't exist, instead they all want to compete directly with me. In other words, they tend to get jealous and that creates a lot of drama and embarrassment later. That's my personal experience anyway over the numerous times I went with the so-called "classy locals".

I've had no problem pulling in Immigrant solo. In any case, there's always a backup plan in the Kota places if I didn't score.

I agree that the locals aren't going to help you in a group unless you are close friends with them and they think you are looking for a serious relationship. In that case, they might try to hook you up with one of their friends. The best locals to know are the gays. They can be quite helpful hooking you up with a chick if they think you are a good guy. The indo chicks seem to trust their gay friends more than their guy friends.

I think the local guys have a different mindset from the expat guys. I find that if you get a bunch of westerners together and have a table with a couple of bottles at your table where it looks like you don't mind spending money, the girls will be interested in joining and the guys work together to help each other out. That being said, it's cheaper for us older guys to go to BATS and pay the money directly rather than buying all those drinks and going through the trouble of impressing the chicks at immigrant.

As for the Immigrant issue, Smoothy nails it for me, I have come to a point in my life when the cheap and cheerful, all-you-can-eat buffet option that is Jakarta pick up bars appeals to me so much more than the gourmet, fine-dining option of somewhere like Immigrant.

Life's too short at this stage to chase high-maintenance birds with over-inflated ideas of the value of their vaginas. There are no mountains I need to climb, I've ticked off all the challenges in my life that I ever set myself (and there were damn few of them if I'm honest).

But each to their own, good luck in whatever floats your boat.
