I normally take the bus at south Pattaya road which I consider being the center, as its just next to the entrance of walking street.

Soi 6 about third way down on left towards Beach road. I went in there at about 6pm a few weeks ago. Told the girl my friend was coming and they should wait. Bought two lady drinks and sat there for a few minutes with nice conversation. But when it became clear my mate was a bit late these two told me they were going to sit outside. OKAAAAY so I sat there at the bar alone being ignored until my friend arrived. Even then the girls stayed outside. It was like YOUR FRIEND AND YOU should leave because they were busy sitting outside.

Really liked this place. Attentive girl that drank proper drink not cola. Even though she wasnt so good at English (and I speak bugger all Thai) she was up for fun. Too bad I was buggered after other places. My mate took one upstairs and had a blast.

For BBBJ they will ask for 1000 baht and full service 1500 baht but you can negociate down.

Am trying to find this bar in north Pattaya I went to a few years ago. Hope it is still around. It was not very big. At the time it seemed to be one of the better places for daytime action. Had a few good looking babes. Most were in the bar but some sat outside.

Pattaya is changing and changing rapidly.

The north end of walking street. Circa Soi 16 has been decimated by the influx of Arabs and Russians. If you sit in the decent steak and seafood place on the corner of Soi 16 and watch the flow of people you see that nobody is with a girl anymore, it's simply a case of tourists coming to watch. When you do see the Russians / Arabs and Indians with a girl its in the coconut bar with 2+ guys haggling with one girl over the price.

I can only believe its a matter of time until X Zone closes down, as Club Boesche etc beneath it already have. As far as I know this will leave the number of old school gogo's at just Windmill (which was excellent when I was there 2 weeks ago). As a collective it would be great to see people supporting these institutions which used to make Pattaya so great.

Have to say I am no longer excited by Walking street at all (5+ years and 20 trips after first visit). Some gogo's are good, (Baccara and the big white one on the left past Angelwitch etc) all having great looking girls but the fun atmopshere has changed. {Special mention going to Secrets for having the best draft beer in Thailand and making an excellent and relaxing stop off before diving back in to the action}.

Would be great if some of the "mega" gogo's would re-locate to Soi Bukhao, Soi 7-8 etc where the beer bars and camarderie between the farangs / WG's was fantastic.

Went on to Bangkok after a week in Pattaya. Nana and Soi Cowboy packed beyond belief in all the decent gogo's. Pattaya still wins hands down as it has all the space that Bangkok doesn't. But it needs all the Farangs to stay together, drink beer, take the girls out of the bars and make it great like it always was.

Not back again till end of March.

Was in Pattaya for a few days the first part of December. Someone just mentioned Xzone and thought it might shut down. When I was ther rthey had a good quantity of guys and things were lively. Someday all will shut downbut I don't know about right away or in near future. We will see. The street had adwquate people but not as crowded as I think it should be. Many of the bars were not crowded at all. Many of the door people were very pushy tryiong to get peole to go in and have a seat. Didn't want you to look around at all. Just go in and buy a beer. Those I left immediately as I don't like the pushy attitude. Secrets looked nice and not pushy. Will return there. Enjoyed windmill and the manager seemed like a decent guy. The girls on walking street selling pussy were not a a plentiful ar I remember from before. Beach road was doing fine at 500 baht for ST.

Walked up to Soi Bukow and found Sugar Sugar. A girl says to me bar fine is 2000 on weekends. I said good luck and good bye. Was only checking it out so harm no foul. Baccara was good I thought.

Did see many Russians with wife or girl friend. Some from India and some Arabs. I do think the economy is showing, but Pattaya will be back. As far as other farlang being there, you have to expect it. It is not a secret and if you can afford it and are so inclined you are going to show up at some time or another.

Dream Teen do not offer a typical soapy massage experience. You pay 400THB for an hour of thai massage (can be with oil or lotion) plus the infamous ball massage which is more or less a sensually slow handjob. The girl is usually clothed and will give you the upsell in the room which has a small shower and a nice firm bed. The standard sales pitch is 500THB for HJ. 1000THB for BJ and 1500THB for intercourse. If you can resist the power of the ball massage, you can get away with just paying the base price otherwise, you can negotiate the price of the extras.

IMHO Dream Teen offer a more private and comfortable experience than the numerous 200THB per hour massage places on Soi Honey and elsewhere. Some of these places offer extras as well but the action usually take place in a communal area with mats on the floor and separated only by curtains.

Going to Pattaya in March and my flight gets into BKK about midnight. Is there really any benefit to taxi in that late or should I find a cheap room near the airport and grab a taxi the next morning?

I have read pages and pages of posts on the Pattaya scene. I have never been there, I must admit. But I am shocked and horrified that all these guys posting, yet, no one seem to have scored, at least one single date, with a Russian tourist. Many guys speak of Pattaya being flooded with Russians, yet, it seems these guys lack the skills and know-how to date a NORMAL girl who is on holiday to have "fun". Just walk up to one of these girls and ask her out, instead of hitting Go-Go bars and paying money for dirty prostitutes, something you all know how to do (easy, huh?). I am disappointed at you,"men"!

Indians, Russians, Arabs. Blah blah. Don't take girls. Blah blah. Haggling on Beach Road. Blah blah.

Japanese, Koreans. Blah blah. Overspending. Blah blah. Take the best seats / girls. Blah blah.

Grow up!

I'm sure some Arabs, Russians, Japanese, Indians etc. Have their own broad stereotypes of 'farangs' which may have been conceived by personal experience or word of mouth.

I doubt many farangs on this forum would identify with those stereotypes, and may possibly consider themselves unfairly judged by them.

This pseudo-superiority complex is most unbecoming.
