Going Medellin? Well, I was just in Medellin for one month. Where to stay? Sandiego, or near-by Premium Plaza areas are very convenient to multiple big Maul (s) and to the strip clubs like Grill and Fas Dos. Metro fine but only $2 Taxi to centro. Find a taxi man before you go! Not to old. My guy 930) was with me almost every afternoon for only $10! Very knowledgable, so, no need for expensive CB's. Tours. Question: I'm planning to move to Medellin next year. Thinking to rent long-term. I'm looking for ideas on living in one of the many a high-rises in Poblado. In my limited research I'm seeing real nice unfurnished. For $400-$800 per month. Anyone with detailed knowledge of Poblado? Most convenient area to live? Unfortunatly Colombia does not have a 'multiple listing ' service.
I am pretty sure it will be VERY difficult to get a visa for a Colombian chica to Denmark.
Mel.
A look for an AAA working girl to import to Denmark on tourist VISA. If you know one please PM me. Some English skills is good, but not necessary.
I'm 42yo and good looking, normal life without any social or economical problems.

a long journey up the hill in a dirt poor neighborhood had me wondering if perhaps this was not a good idea but I never really had any worries – maybe that was just my ignorance.
Bubba.
Thanks for a very entertaining report. I took many trips to this kind of neighborhood before and never had any problems just as long as you're with a paisa. I think of it as an opportunity to 'recharge the battery', take a break from the pussy, watch the non-pros, spot some gems, explore Medellin. It can only do you good.
Cheers.

I cannot PM you. I guess you need to upgade your membership.
Here is a good place for long or short term. It's actually in San diego. Walking distance to the malls, Fase Dos, LasPalmas (up the hill) , etc. El centro is pretty close too.

Has anyone been to any of the private parties of romancelatina in medellin?
I'm wanting to bring two girls up to my room for a few hours. My plan was to get a room at the Hotel Botero Plaza then troll those strip clubs around the corner for a couple of ladies that would be willing. I don't believe the Hotel Nutibara would be good for this? I know that those hotels near the strip clubs would be available but I wanted something a little more comfortable. So I guess my questions are: what's the best way for going about this? Anyone recommend a hotel? I would get an apartment which would be better but I would rather have something that is with walking distance from the strip clubs. Plus, the ladies would be more likely to go nearby rather than jump in cab. What about finding a couple? My idea is to find one lady that fits what I like then having her choose the playmate. My Spanish is poor but I manage. I'm not new to the game and I have done this before, just not for a few hours. I know the dangers of having two in the room and plan on keeping my stuff locked down or hidden. But any advice, tips, or things to avoid in setting this up would be appreciated.

I've stayed there a lot of times. Be careful having 2 chicas in your room.
Mango's, Medellin's most famous club among tourists, has closed its doors "to reinvent itself," local newspaper El Colombiano reported Monday.
Club owner Jorge Lopez told the newspaper that the surprise closing is not definite and Mango's will open in a new location in a few months.
According to Lopez, the wild west-themed club had trouble competing with other clubs that were offering discounts."We can't do that because we have 140 employees. We pay dancers and all that gets very expensive," said the owner to the newspaper.
Lopez reportedly also blamed the closing on foreigners who "took up the habit of arriving with three or four pretty girls to show off while others proposed to dancers and employees or were trying to conquer other visitors' girlfriends," the paper said.
The Medellin club has become the city's most hyped since opening its doors in 1998, but also became infamous over the high number of prostitutes attending the establishment

Je je LOL Look for a big upswing in Las Palmas, Parque Gringo and Barrio Colombia. LOL.
Not exactly sure what he's trying to say here though: "Lopez reportedly also blamed the closing on foreigners who "took up the habit of arriving with three or four pretty girls to show off while others proposed to dancers and employees or were trying to conquer other visitors' girlfriends," the paper said."

Wow, first Help in Rio, now Mangos in Medellin. I agree with MHL, he was complaining about gringos bringing pretty girls and spending money? In some cases lots of money.
Avoid this girl at all cost, she's a thief and a big time scammer. I have known and dated her for 6 months. She stole $ 3500 from my appartment on February 12, 2012. On top of that $ 15, 000 was charged on my credit card without my knowledge. She was living in my appartment for 2 weeks. She was putting a lot of pressure on me about getting married when I told her that I was not ready to marry her, she went completely crazy and started.
Throwing dishes all over the appartment. The front desk called the police. The next day I went to fiscalia to file a complaint against her to my surprise they told me she was there a few hours ealier to file a kidnapping charge against me.its really crazy now I have to fly from Europe to defend myself.
She's goes by differents names :Vivianita, Paolita but her really name is Daisy Restrepo, she works at Linda's Chicas sometimes.

I think what complaint was that Gringos were bringing in their working girls and this attracted other working girls who made the "Normal" Colombian girls feel uncomfortable so this caused a shift in their clientele. You know it became a working girl house / night club.
Maybe I'm blind or maybe every time I went to Mangos I was with a bunch of girls already but I don't recall seeing too many working girls or at least nothing too obvious.
