* there's nothing for you on the east side of the city, that's after libertad market (aka san juan de dios market) , there's 'action' but usually on shady places and low quality.
* for a good pop, visit a barber shop (estetica masculina) , one that nobody mention here and i highly recommend is 'select', it's on 2546 paz avenue (av. de la paz) and francisco de quevedo, pretty close to centro magno plaza, it's $1, 200p, last time i was there. another one is 'luigi's', it's on lopez cotilla 1882, one block from centro magno, last time i was there, price was $500p, there's single mom's pretty much, but service is good and every time i went there i left with a smile.

* if you rent a car, and drive around the city, at some point you might get "business cards" with girl phones (the hooker type) , so far, the phone on those cards are bogus, dunno if someone had luck getting actually a girl from those.
* many taxi drivers know a lot about mongering, ask them if you feel comfortable doing so.
* if by any reason you have to go santa anita town (tlaquepaque area) , avoid white / yellow cabs, they ask a lot of cash.
* yes, there's awesome food at tlaquepaque, but also good food at guadalajara and zapopan areas, i recommend "el rincon gaucho","los inmortales", if you need a fix for mexican food, go to "el tequila", those restaurants are easy to find and any taxi driver should know about them. avoid street food vendors if you are somewhat have a weak stomach.
* spanish is not a must, but it does help, many locals do speak english.

A Review of the low end Esteticas
I have recently returned to the land of mean spirited selfishness after 3 months of teaching English in Guadalajara. My ball and chain accompanied me, lucky me, precisely to cock block me I'm sure but the esteticas masculinas gave me an outlet. As a long time lurker and short time member of ISG, I felt it was only fair to share my observations.
The street scene and the strip clubs suck as has been discussed here. Guadalajara has these distinct institutions, male beauty salons. What would a male really want at a beauty salon? How about a nude massage, BJ, DATY, possibly, yes possibly GFE, and DATY. The first estetica I tried was Mediterraneo. I think they're a victim of their own success. For 520 pesos, I got a pretty girl with bolt ons, a lame message. 30 seconds of DATY and pleasant, but univolved sexo. Then I tried the lowest of the low end, Alexander's near Juarez station. The mamasan took a shine to me. For 325 pesos, I got a 20 minute deep tissue massage, BJ, dfk, unlimited DATY, and "servicio completo." Dude, that's 15 dollars for the massage and 10 dollars for the "extras." I ended up doing Chrissy once a week every week thereafter. Very GFE, she said we were "buen amantes.", good lovers and the experience was muy intenso for her. (what else would you expect from lengua de oro?) She told me the other girls who worked for her were lazy and just wanted to bang guys for 5 minutes. Don't know. Couldn't try. I tipped her well. 50 to 75 peos. By the way, always bring as close to the correct change as possible. Even at big stores, Mexicans often don't have much change.
Barbara at Jimmy's was nice, a brick shithouse but no DATY. (400 pesos) The other girls there (2) , smiled at me as I left. I did Andrea at Venezias for 380. New to the business, the massage and BJ were awful but the sexo was great. Three girls were presented to me at Italia's, near 9 corners. Using some sort of reverse psychology, I took the heaviest Diana. She was ok but when I returned they wanted to stick me with her again and my Spanish wasn't good enough to correct the situation, so I left.

My final review is of Luigi's on Lopez Cotilla. Here I acted wisely for a change and had some really good times. First I had Adrianna, great body. I asked her if she had had a boob job expecting no for the answer. She said yes. It was hard for the discerning eye to tell. Adrianna was a non-orgasmic Mexican provider, if that's not an oxymoron. Despite my tongue and her fingers, we couldn't get her off. Maybe it's the hot sun or the Catholic culture of Jalisco but it happened too often not to be true. There are many beautiful women in GDL with tight pants and sexy shoes but they don't eyeball men the way pros in Santo Domingo or Medellin do. But behind closed doors.
My advice to anyone trying the esteticas is to find some you have a good session with. If the second session is even better, you've got a solid squeeze for your time in GDL. If the second session is blah, keep on moving. There are plenty of esteticas.

Guadalajara is huge city to navigate without running up huge taxi bill in 100's of pesos. Good public bus and subway system (Line 1 and 2) exist. Fatest mode would be the subway from point A to B in peak hours. Near Juarez station to Alexander masculinas sounds very appealing.
Subway fare is 7 peso but requires a refill card. Have no idea how one attains this subway refill card other than ask stranger for help with 10 pesos.

Hey there! I am only here one more day in Gdl but I have a nice story to share with a great new place that just opened up 2 months ago that has some awesome "talent". I have not written a report in a while so my report writing style is definitely a bit rusty, but I will share a lot of information here so anyone reading can find the massage parlor and know what the prices are before walking in. I can give some details about the women, but I have only been with three of them as of this writing. But all of them are really nice, friendly and seem to be a lot more relaxed at this place than at others I have gone to in the past. And there is a wonderful reason why. Here is my report:
I had been away from mongering in Mexico for awhile, and had a nice thing going with one of the workers at the Geisha Massage parlor in downtown Guadalajara. So I went back to Geisha to try to find her and sadly they informed me she was no longer there (her working name is "Dany". Short for Daniela).
So saddened by the news, I remembered I had the card Dany had given me for Geisha with her name and her cell phone number on the back. We never met outside of Geisha but I had called her before to see how she was and to find out if she was working certain days. But it had been over a year since I had contacted her and cell phone numbers are notorious for being lost when someone gets their cell stolen or it falls into a puddle, gets eaten by the dog. Etc.
So I sent a text to her from my Mexican cell phone that I have and hoped for the best. And amazingly, the best doesn't describe what happened next! It turns out it was her number still and she sent me a text back! She is now running her own, very modern styled, massage parlor with other women who had left Geisha. It is called "Dany's". I went the very next day and was thrilled to see Dany. She no longer works as a "service provider" but she has a good staff of young women working there and she is much more in tune with them and they with her. She is not your average "madame". She actually treats her workers as equals and with a much better attitude. I would expect no less from Dany, her heart and spirit caught my interest from the first time I met her years ago at Geisha. Her sex skills also "held" my "interest" of course. But it is so much better when you really like the person you are with and they like you too. And being a repeat client sure helps, plus it does tend to make for better and better sessions together and sometimes even time spent outside of the massage parlor whether going out to a hotel privately with them or simply going to a store together or getting some help with trying to find something in the country / city you are visiting. That's a bit beyond what most of us are on here for, but if you treat these women well and continue seeing them over time, you'll be pleasantly surprised how well they will treat you!
Anyway. Here is the important information for all of us out there. Location and Price:
Location: Estetica Dany's is on Avenida De La Paz #1561 between the streets of Enrique Diaz De Leon and Belgica. They are directly across the street from a very nice vegetarian restaurant. If you see "Restaurante Vegetariano" on the opposite side of the street, you know you are very close to Dany's! If you take a taxi to this place, ask for them to take you to the vegetarian restaurant so you can avoid the taxi's commission. I tend to scope out the place first and find a nice business nearby and if I choose to take a taxi there I have them take me to the other shop or business nearby and I step inside long enough for the taxi to leave. Then I go about my "real" business and monger in peace. Works better for me and the girls get to keep more of the money I spend on them and everyone is happy.
Price: They are having promo's right now since they are new and hit the ground running hard! From 10am (when they open) to about 2PM, they offer a 15 Minute special for $200 Pesos. I have not done that, maybe tomorrow, but I believe it is full service. A quickie, one "pop".30 minutes with full service. 1 "pop", costs $350 Pesos. 45 minutes with 1 "pop" costs $450 Pesos. And 1 full hour with 2 "pops" costs $600 pesos. There are more services available, such as having two women at the same time and probably 1 1/2 hours as well. I don't know those prices, but once you are at 45 minutes you are paying roughly 10 pesos per minute. I found that 1 hour for $600 is great, and 45 minutes is also good. I tend to tip lightly as I instead "come" by more often and bring the women fresh fruit or pan dulce and things like that for all the workers and Dany to enjoy. If I was rich I would tip more, of course, but I am not. I generally tip about 10% for the 45 minute session. So 450 pesos turns into 500 pesos. At 600, I still give about 50 pesos, although I am tempted to just go with the 600 as it is already 100 more than the 45 minute session and usually one "pop" is all I need to keep me quite happy.
I have been there three times so far in the week or so that I re-established contact with Dany. I started out with the 30 minute, but converted that to a 45 minute session moments after choosing Krystal. We just hit it off really well. I had hoped Dany would still do some services, but Dany is now a "behind the desk" worker and she has a lot to take care of for the moment to moment functioning of the place. Krystal has very smooth skin, seems to be in her mid 20's, nice chest, a little more meat on her but in the right places for me! It was a very nice session and a great welcome to Estetica Dany's. Krystal gave me some good GFE our whole session, and she was very interested in learning English. The girls confirmed it and some of them have worked at places like Mediterraneo and High Class before, not just at Geisha. They get around 60% of what you pay for the service. Most other places only give the women 40. I only have Dany's word and the word of the women working at the massage parlor to go by with this, but they have no reason to lie to me. I can see it in the way they treat each other and how they look up to Dany. They don't tremble in fear of their boss and they don't seem to have cat-fights among themselves (at least right now). That makes a big difference in the kind of service you and I receive.
The showers are very nice, clean, modern. Plenty of hot water, very clean toilets, and they provide you with shower slippers so you don't slip in the shower. That's very, very important. Wear them when you use the shower and when you walk out of the shower. Mexican tile is generally very slippery when wet. That kind of "wet" is not good for mongering. Nothing will take the hardness out of your rod faster than a slip and fall onto tile and concrete flooring!
I am going to ask Dany to get permission to take pictures of the rooms and hopefully I can get some pics of the girls if they're OK with it. Then when I figure out how to upload pictures here I will send them up. The rooms at places like High Class, Geisha, and some of the other places I have been to in Guadalajara had seen much better days. The shower heads at High Class used to be terrible! I don't know how they are now, but Dany's work perfectly and don't spray water all over the floor over the sliding glass doors. Much more like taking a shower at home after having great sex!
