The music link you posted is remixed Axe Bahia from Salvador. There is this type of music (a hybrid of axe/forro) in Fortaleza called Swingado seems to be aimed at 17-25yr olds.

Forro Mambo has bands playing Forro Elecrtico- the style of Forro popularised here by bands such as Avioes De Forro and Forro do Muido. In Rio its the same type of forro called Forrozao, you can find it at Feira De Sao Cristovao at weekends on the large stage either end.

If you can dance Forro and speak Portuguese, I found that Fortaleza has some great non.pro options. If members are interested I can post them.

After spending a few days in Fortaleza I remember reading here about the shapes of some of the girls. It wa funny seeing the ones with the round faces and short necks. Wonderful trip to Fortaleza. Got in late due to plane issues. Checked into the Casa Blanca hotel about 10.30pm. (Let me put a plug in for the staff at that hotel. Very friendly, helpful, and professional. Would definitely recommend). Showered, then off to Zipi Bar around 11.30pm. A few good lookers but knew there had to be better. After an hour or so it was off to Forro Mambo. There is an entrance fee (I think it was R15 which is added upon exit) – they give you a card upon entering where they mark your drinks. Girl enter for free ( I asked). The place is pretty nice. There is a bar with live music (forro) on the ground floor. DJ is spinning top hits upstairs above the street. And there is a third bar with somewhat different music across the way which opens later in the evening as the place gets more crowded.

Many girls to choose from. All were easy going and friendly. Nothing like some of the trash you find at Help in Rio. I danced and talked to a few girls while looking for my take out. I spotted a tall babe (Paloma). She’d be the one for my first night. She was about 5’9”, 125 - 130 lbs, and had some nice curves.
