Everything turned out OK this weekend and this bodes well for APEC in November. Fri nite they shut down central Miraflores to traffic and there were at least 200,000 people in the streets. Everything was open till about 5 am and they had a series of concerts that started at midnight. Restaurants and bars were jammed.

On another note, hearing a lot of rough Colombian types have been hanging at TR, Don't know if this is the same crew reported to be in 69!

Change at your hotel. They will give you the special rate which you deserve.

It is the first time I listen it. Usually hotels don't give you good exchange rate.... but I don't know Peru. Perhaps Peru is a different country. ;)

Hotel Las Americas- no complaints altho not particularly inexpensive. As my Spanish is limited I had the concierge guy call several girls I found listed online on the Placeres del **** site which has worked well for me in the past. He spoke w/a couple before getting Danieletta to come over for a midday shag. She was nice- 20, petite, limited english, not terribly enthusiastic but no starfish either. Would have tried to keep her if time allowed. Worth repeating. $100 for the almost 2 hrs.

I arrived a few days ago in Lima and will stay for a few month (Business related). Although I have not posted much in ISG (and the posts I made so far are from Medellin Columbia) I’m not new to the scene. I’ve gained experience all over the world, but are toooooo lazy to write about.

Anyway what are some of the good spots to hit? I have a small apartment (with a very unconventional bed! ) in Miraflores with few of the Parque Raimondi.

Always ranked amongst the top clubs in Peru, A few of us ventured there after a great dinner and drinks at Trattoria!

I have always found they have great facilities and that has certainly not changed. Due to rampant road construction the drive up is horrible and ruins the ambiance of driving into your own private playground.

They no longer have a entrance fee instead they have a minimum of S/.100 which they due not deem to enforce.

We arrived around 12pm and the place was dead (given it is Sat night) and by 1:30 only two other guys came in.

The selection of girls was horrible and was limited to 8-10 at most. A friend was dancing with a few of them and they appeared to be on something!

I will certainly not go back until things change drastically!
