I do not go often to Madrid downtown (I actually live 5 min. from Flowers Park - go figure which club I usually go to :-), but in other fora I've heard of Hot as being quite good. It is in Colon Square, side by side with the Wax Museum. The drawback is that the rooms there are not really bedrooms, but small private rooms with little more than a couch.

Also, Vive Madrid (somewhere in the Tetuan / Bravo de Murillo area) is receiving good reports. Sorry I cannot comment first hand on these two.

A classic place is Pigmalion, in the Cuzco (IIRC) area. But I was not impressed there some two years ago (the first and only time I went).

been looking at all the posts, what a great site. Feel the need to contribute myself, alas havent had anything to report, not taken the plunge in Madrid.

Will prefer to visit than any of the clubs, Fuencarral 55 sounds like a winner to me (hope if wasnt affected by recent raids).

Question for the board, is how much of a problem could my Aboslute lack of Spanish be. I.e, what would I say if I ring the buzzer at an apartment? Or should I not worry about that and just go for it? Any experience to share would be must appreciated.

I will be going to Madrid at the end of March. Thanks to all the posters who shared their experiences. I will be visiting f/p by metro as I hate to drive in foreign countries. My question is not how to get there, but if I catcht the last metro back into town and get off at atocha or principe rio, how safe is it? Will there be taxis waiting nearby or do I have to flag one down. I will be staying near Gran via.

It is not a metro what you have to take to go to FP, but a train. I.e., you have to exit the metro system and buy a different ticket. If you go to Principe Pio station you can do this in the same building; in fact the platforms for train and metro can be seen from each other and are one minute apart on foot. Atocha, being larger, makes this a bit more complex. Also if you are staying nearby Gran Via, Principe Pio is within walking distance, while in order to go to Atocha you'll have to take a metro (well, you can always walk, of course, and it's not very far - maybe half an hour or less if you take the right streets). Plus, Principe Pio is closer to FP than Atocha is.

As for safety, yes, the area is safe. Only that Principe Pio has two entrances: the main one, which is the one I advise, and a back entrance which leads you faste to the train, and which is a bit faster to reach from Gran Via. It is located at "Estanislao Figueras" st. with "Ilustracion" st. Sometimes you can see homeless people wandering about, but I lived in that area for several years and I have never been threatened in any way. Just go straight to the entrance and ignore them. They don't even solicit.

The train you want to take is C10. Note that the last train _back_ to madrid stops in Las matas at 23:32. Or, you can stay all night in FP and catch the first in morning at 7:03. But, IIRC, FP closes at 5:00 so some chick will have to make you the favor of giving you shelter in her room. Since girls share rooms, that can be fun :-)

Taxis: flag one down to go to P.Pio, but you definitely can go on foot. In order to come back, the staff at FP should be able to call a taxi for you, or you just wait for some taxi to drop a client. If you want to go back from P.Pio to your hotel by taxi, there are taxis waiting in front of the main entrance of P.Pio station.

Hi. Is Fuencarral 55 a club? Never been there, but I'd bet it is an apartment.

Regarding language barrier, I am a native Spanish speaker, so I do not experience that (in Spain). I am actually curious to know how hard is the language barrier nowadays. I presume that most young people have some knowledge of English.

In your particular case, what I'd do is to make a phone call. If they are able to answer back in English (or, at least, to understand you), then go for it.

Just a quick thought for you regarding the language thing. I am english but have learned quite a bit of spanish over the past few years so find it easier getting along, but only in person face to face.

Most young spanish people speak some english, the majority of east europeans speak some degree of english, most of them speak it better than me. I find the south americans know much less english but most know enough of the basics to get you laid. I used to have a rule that if they did not speak some english I would not go with the girl but after rejecting some of the hottest south american girls the world has to offer over the years I have now picked up enough spanish and portugese to get laid.

I find that trying to speak on the telephone is an absolute nightmare and have found even when there is no language is spoken that communication when face to face I have always been able to get by. Good with my hands I think.

Good point, John. Of course, taking a "conservative approach" view, if you're able to communicate over the phone you'll certainly be able to do it in person as well. On the other hand, you'll probably be speaking with some mamasan who in the end won't go to bed with you.

Out for Flesh do you ever venture to the club at hotel Diana Plus??

I am a beach person and visit Spain a lot but always the costas, although I have visited Madrid I went to Diana Plus while there. The girls there tend to swap between a couple of clubs on the costa del sol.

I am thinking of flying into Madrid shortly to have a few days before driving south and will take in FP etc I am not a fan of apartments I really really like the clubs, does my ego the world of good!!!

I do not hear much about Diana Plus on here. Is it not really classed as a Madrid club, I know it is a little way out at I think it is called merca Madrid.

I have been there only once. It is highly appreciated by several people in other, Spanish-speaking, fora, partly because apparently you can make realatively cheap deals there. However, the girls there are mainly from Romania, and I cannot say I have a crush for Romanian girls. My preferences definitely bias towards Brazilians and Argentines.

Maybe the reason why one does not hear more about Diana Plus is its somewhat strange location. I do not know whether it is possible to go confartably there by public transportation other than taxi.

[B]CARETERRA CLUBS AROUND MADRID[/B]

I've been back to Madrid recently and toured these motorway clubs on several nights. For those who haven't been to Spain, these clubs are situated along the highways and are illuminated like Christmas trees. The good thing with them is that some have many girls, 50 or more, and have no entrance fee or a small one (around 10 euros, including one drink), so you can just pop in to have a look, and move to the next one if nothing fancies you.

[b]On the N-I (A-1)[/b] NorthEast motorway to the Basque country: Guadalix (at km. 32), Lovely (km. 35) and Mirador (km.44). There is another club, Lago, at about km. 35 too, but I haven't found it. Niciest one for me is Lovely, second Mirador. Guadalix is a smaller club.

[b]On the N-II (A-2)[/b] East motorway to Zaragoza/Lerida: Factory Air (km. 11), African Queen, La Miel (km. 50), Bella Vista (km. 71), Mirador Alcarria (km.78), Olimpo Guadalajara (km. 102). I visited only Factory Air on this trip. Not on the motorway itself, but close and also just 5mn to the airport. Very convenient for the last night before taking your flight back home. Big club, up to 100 girls but music is very loud and it's difficult to have a conversation.

[b]On the N-III (A-3)[/b] SouthEast motorway to Valencia: Haven't been on this one, so don't know any club, but there must certainly be some.

[b] On the N-IV (A-4) [/b]South motorway to Granada, Cordoba: El Cruce and Play Boy (km. 29), Stylo (km. 52), Conejo de la Suerte, Zoco. Haven't found Zoco. Vaji 97, the best club on this motorway, has closed. Have not visited El Cruce. Of the ones I visited, Stylo is the niciest. It's a new club. Further away, there are Dulci A (km. 131), Hostal Ebano (km. 150), Angeles de Charlie (km. 188), Rosa Elite (km. 190), Venus (km. 191), etc... Angeles de Charlie is the niciest, but there is no need to drive so far. It's a good club for a stop on your way Southbound though.

[b] On the N-V (A-5)[/b] SouthWest motorway to Merida, Lisboa. On a previous trip, I've only been to the clubs in Fuenlabrada (not on the motorway itself): Cotton Club and Eternity. Haven't found El Castillo and Club Social Moraleja. Eternity was the niciest.

[b] On the N-VI (A-6)[/b] NorthWest motorway to La Coruna: Flower's Park (km. 26), Las Torres (Km. 28), Olimpo Villalba. Akhua et New Garden are near but not on the motorway itself, but are worth a visit. Flower's Park is still the best, but Akhua is catching up quickly. Further away, there are Palacio de la Rosa (km. 147), Vaji 89 et Jamaica. These are "careterra clubs" as I love them, with their own exit and a parking big enough to accomodate 20 trucks with trailers. Palacio de la Rosa is the niciest. Again, not worth driving all the way up there, but nice stop if you're on your way to La Coruna.

In Madrid itself, I've been to a couple of big clubs: Vive Madrid (or Nirvana), near metro Tetuan. They claim up to 200 girls, only about 80-100 when I was there but it was on a Tuesday and it was low season. Last, but not least, Estark (Whiskeria Estark), on the M-40 exit 19b, in the CTM transport center near Mercamadrid. It's also called Diana Plus as it's next to this hotel and the name of the hotel is visible from a distance, facilitating navigation. This is my preferred club in Madrid. It's smaller than many other clubs, but has a nice atmosphere (and reasonable sound level for discussion). About 60-80 girls when I was there, but can have more than 100. It's simple, club has 4 floors for room, 20 rooms on each floor and 2 girls per room (3 during high season in the bigger ones). Make your calculation. No entrance fees, still 50-60 euros for 30mn.

There are tons of other places in Madrid itself: Pigmalion, Hot, D'Angelo, Nudes, Michel D'Angelo, Chelsea, Chelsea II, etc... but I didn't have the time to visit them on this trip.

Club is sometimes mentionned here under other names: Estark, Whiskeria Estark or 'Stark. My preferred club in Madrid (see post below). It was also voted best Madrid club for 2006 by members of a Spanish punters forum.
