The girls were all pretty cool and did not try to upsale me any.

I got the same bs everytime about meeting her outside, but I stood my ground and stayed in the hotel. I told her what I would be wearing so I would be easy to spot.

Another instance of cheating, I should have taken the reviews seriously from this forum which I did not do. After reading HT I found the number of one MP and the owners name is Rohit. We discussed the deal on the phone and he said within one hour the guy will come to collect the money in my hotel room and will then send the girl. this person took the money and never sent any one in the room, I did paid 5K upfront but no action. I kept calling for more than 2 hours but he did not picked up the cell phone. I knew I was cheated.

He was a real "slick" and when he came in he began to get very agressive telling me I had to pay more than we had already agreed on the phone. (Sorry, I don't remember the numbers.) We argued for some time which is not very conducive to the planned activities and I finally agreed to give more since that seemed to be the only way to get rid of him.

The girl was probably a 5 at most and not very much of a GFE. All in all, I count this as one of the bummers in my experieinces. I had visions of a beautiful, classic Indian lady with flashing eyes and the right attitude and this is what I got instead.

I have to conclude that India is not a very good mongering place and all the hassles of the touts coming into your hotel make it definitely not worth it. Maybe there are some outstanding places, but I have not seen it.

I'm wondering how to separate the legitimite operations from the scam jobs in the HT classifieds. Anything I should look out for? clues? responsiveness to negotiations, etc. For example, I asked one number if she would send two girls and I'd send the uglier one back, she said OK, and I thought it was too good to be true.

Also, I don't speak Hindi, but I can speak English in either an American or convincing Indian accent. Which should I use for best rates?

I belive you are lookig for the sensual massage. Why you have not found any thing on the forum is becuse there is hardly anything worth a mention here or visit.
My advise:Have an extra week in BKK if possible. There is no comparison between Delhi and BKK. Delhi is much more expensive, service generally sucks (in compariso to BKK). If you really like a girl in BKK bring her with you for a week. It will be worth the time and money.

Having said that, let me give you my two cents on Delhi. There are few massage parlours that advertise in the leading news papers. Most are actually escorts in disguise, offering outcalls mostly. No fishbowl type places. A typical massage parlour will offer you either a powder or oil massage by a lady. An average parlour employs 2 to 3 girls. Most of them are not trained, they provide you their version of massage based on whatever ideas they have on the subject and experiences they have had. You negotiate directly for HS/ BJ/FS after you select a basic course. Charges generally around Rs.500 to 700 for an hour. Can be much higher in highend Spas or fivestar hotels. No guarantees at any places (the five stars generally give you a good massage, but extras very unlikely). Quality of service where you get extras- totally unpredictable. Never had any comparable to BKK. (I just love the double course ar Eden).

On the other hand, if you are looking for traditional Indian massage(Ayurvedic) there are many Excellant places, that can treat arthritis, fractures, and a whole lot of other problems. Typical courses require at least a weeks stay and some control on diet as well.
