I will probably also try around Sannomiya (Kobe) and Umeda/Namba (Osaka) to see what is now possible for a foreigner. I think that with the bad shape of the Japanese economy, and if you beheave correctly, it's a good time to search for new places.

I'm going to post about some experiences I had this past 6 months. It may not be so accurate anymore (things change fast in this business) but I still think that it would help a little.

First, the famous Tobita RLD. I will start with general informations and thoughts, then I will review some of the girls and shops. There is already a lot of reports about Tobita so you may also want to read the others as well but I think that a summary is always useful.

What is Tobita?

Tobita is a district in the south of Osaka, near Tennoji. It's by far the most famous RLD in Osaka with at least 90 good shops (each shop has 2 or 3 girls) and even with the current state of the economy, the place is, at night, full of Japanese men.

There is in fact two Tobita. One, on the south of the main road (? The one with a police box), is where you find the older/fatter girls. I only went there once, my first time in Tobita, because I was lost. Except if you have some fetishes, there is no point to go there. Even the prices are not really better (just 1000 yen cheaper)

The other Tobita (the one in the north east, just after the aerial highway, in green on the map) is the place to go.

There is two long streets crossed by two smaller ones.

The main street, on the map?, is the one where you can see a clock at the end. In some report, it was called "Smoking Hot Blvd" which I think is a pretty good description, especially for the first two-third of the street.

The other streets also got good-looking girls but if as a foreigner, you get better chances in the second long street (?) I only have a moderate success on the smaller ones.

The shops are all almost identical. The front of the shop is a open-space where the girl is waiting on a cushion while the mama-san seat in one corner next to the entry, looking for clients. All the shops have a second floor (you can see the stairs from the streets) with the rooms where the action take place.

Most of the girls do nothing but smile and try to be as cute (kawaii) as possible. Very few take sexy pose. It's the mama-san that will invite you in the place with a "dozo" (please). If you're lucky.

You can only see one girl at the time but the shops have more than one girl working there and when one is busy with a customer another one take her place.

Well it used to be like that when I first went to Tobita three years ago. Now, it seems that a lot of place have only one girl working at the time so if there is already a customer, there is no one on the front except the mama-san (or maybe a small dog.).

How to go there?

The easiest way is to take the Osaka Midosuji subway line (the red one) and get off at Dobutsuen-mae (M-22). At the station, take the exit n°1 and after the ticket gate, the stairs on your right. There, you can see on your left a shopping arcade. The place is a bit creepy but it's safe. Walk all your way until you find a Pachinko on your right (blue on the map of the first link, it should take 5min or more from the station). Take the next street on your left (not the one with the other shopping arcade) and after a bit, you will reach the good Tobita.

Prices and services?

When you have made your choice and see with the mama-san/girl if your Gaijin face aren't a problem, you remove your shoes, put on slippers and follow the girl upstairs. She lead you to the room. You remove the slippers, enter the room and go seat on one of the cushions next to the table. All the rooms are pretty much the same: a Japanese-style room with a small table and a futon or sheets laid on the floor as a bed. It's a lot bigger than what you find in a Chinese esute.

Once inside the room, the girl will ask you how long you want to stay.

The prices are:

15min/11000 Yen

20min/16000

30min/21000

45min/31000

60 min/41000

Sometimes the girl shows you a list of the prices that start at 20/16000 but you can ask for just the 15/11000 course.

You pay directly the girl. She will then go out of the room and come back with your change and a drink, small snacks and candies. You chat a bit and she ask you to undress. Some girls stripped directly in the room but most will let you alone while they undress and prepare themselves outside. After that, you lay on the 'bed' and the show starts.

The service are always: BJ + FS

No shower, the girl just clean you with a wet towel before and after the action.

The quality of service may change a lot. There is no general rule, it all depend of the girl. You can have a stunner with a GF attitude or a so-so girl with a dead fish look. Even paying more will not guarantee you an excellent experience. But I never have bad experience at Tobita.

About the BJ:

I used to think that BBBJ was the norm and that CBJ was a sort of discrimination against foreigners. But after reading Japanese forums, I realized that even Japanese men get sometimes CBJ so it's only up to the girl.

Some girls/mama-sans ask you in the beginning if "condom is ok". That may mean CBJ but sometimes they only speak about the FS.

About the FS:

I had few girls (two if I remember) that didn't allow more than one position. Otherwise, it's pretty much like you want as long as the girl is Ok with it (DATY, 69, paipai.). Of course, no anal.

Note that you are supposed to cum as fast as you can, not to try to please the girl. No much of an obligation but it's the Japanese way.

When your time is up, you hear a small bell. Time to finish and to dress up.

Best time to go?

There is two ways:

- you want to have more "dozo": then, better go when they are as few people as possible. It means before 6-7pm, and avoid Friday/sat. /Sunday night as well as the end of the month.

It's the advice of some of the people of this board (like Azure Knight) and it's probably a wise attitude because you'll get a far better "dozo" ratio. But you also see less good-looking girls.

- you want to see stunning girls: and feel like being in a (adult) candy store, then go when it's full (especially Friday/Saturday night). The best looking girls work theses nights, and it's really a pleasure to see all of theses ladies. I write "see" because your "dozo" rate will be awful (10% or less) and it's not a so good experience to look at all theses beauties, most of them out of your reach. But after all, you just need one green light from a cute girl.

Also note that is a pain in the ass to walk in Tobita at theses times with all the cars and Japanese men.

How to maximize the "dozo" rate?

Look as much Japanese as you can!

- Go with a Japanese friend: it opens all the doors

- Learn enough Japanese to be able to understand the rules and to chat a bit with the girls/mama-sans

- Shave and dress well: a suit is a plus; and NEVER go there drunk!

- Act like you know what is going on there. Do not look like a lost tourist.

- Smile and try to be as gentle and well-mannered as possible! Most foreigners may look pretty scary for a young Japanese girl.

- Say "hello" (konnichiwa/konbanwa): it's just a small word but it may put you as potentiel customer, and not just a visual nuisance.

- Don't stay too close to Japanese men: Japaneses are always a better choice than you, so the mama-sans will not want to frighthen their potentiel Japanese customers by inviting you.

- Don't go when most of the Japanese go (after 7pm, Friday/sat/Sunday nights, end of the month)

Depending of the time you go, your ratio may vary between 50% and 2-3%.

Even if the mama-san didn't give you a dozo, if the girl smiles to you or look interested, there may be hope (at least in Tobita, the girl seems to have the last word; in Matsushima, another Osaka RLD near the Kujo station, the girl was ok with me but the mama-san refused me).

And if neither the mama-san nor the girl do anything in your direction, you still have a chance but be prepared to face a "No Gaijin".

Great reports Izanagi! I've sort of settled into a routine at Tobita, so I have nothing new to add. So its good to see some new members contributing new info.

Just FYI - all the girls only seem to get one day a week off, and the stunners all work from 5-12. So during the weekday you've got a good shot at getting a stunner, and its probably better chances than Fri/Sat.

I think I've been to all the shops you listed (how's Suzu doing?), so they're probably gaijin friendly in general. The mamasan at Ryuko was always nice. Aside from Suzu, I also had a girl named Makoto there, who was a hottie, but I don't know if she still works there. There's a shop right at the beginning or before Smoking Hot Blvd (I think before you get to the overpass) where the mamasan has always invited me in. Unfortunately, I usually have a set destination so I've never gone. Plus the girls are a bit bigger there.

I am new to the ISG community and haven't experimented with the many wonders of the Japanese flesh hobby but I hope to change that in the future and report about it here.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a fun strip club or sekuKyaba (Sexy Kabakura) in the Kansai area. I have read the thread but haven't found anything promising since most members are more interested in other services (and rightfully so). I used to enjoy wild nights at the old Apollo building in Sakuragawa but since the Osaka city crackdown on certain pink establishments, it hasn't been the same. I have also tried UruUru on Soemoncho which is fun but doesn't provide the amount of naked flesh viewing my mates and I have become accustomed to.

If you know of a nice place where you can drink beers, watch and grope some naked girls I would be really grateful.

Good stuff Izanagi. Just some thoughts I'd like to express on this subject.

I'm one of the few foreigners who gets a near 100% call rate. I'm half Filipino, and I do fairly well there. Going in a suit is a plus, but not wearing a suit isn't a deal breaker. Sometimes I go in my normal clothing.The most important things is to look well put together. Don't look sloppy. It should go without saying that if you look really unkempt in a suit, you're going to have a low call rate.

As for bringing a Japanese friend. I've gone in a group of myself, an Australian, and a Japanese guy. When my Japanese friend was near the Aussie, there wasn't a single dozo heading our way. Overall his call rate didn't seem to improve. That being said, he did manage to get a store to accept him by talking with them in the aussie's stead. So I don't think being with a Japanese guy will help your call rates, but he might be able to convince the store you're an ok guy.

Also, you might want to bring your own condoms as Japanese ones tend to be small. This is true for Japan in general, not just Tobita.

About the price/time:

Matsushima is another RLD in Osaka. There are less shops than in Tobita but more girls by shops (3-4 girls at least).

You can access it from the Kujo station (Osaka Chuo Line – C14 or Hanshin Namba Line)

From the subway station, take the exit n°6 and at the bottom of the stairs, you'll see a convenience store, just next the entry of a shopping arcade (there is a MacDonald on the opposite side of the arcade). Go to the left and walk until you find the street with the Tropical hotel (it's not so far).

From the Hanshin station, take the exit n°1 and after the stairs, go to the right (don't cross the street). You'll see the MacDonald and the shopping arcade on your right. Continue to walk until you find the street with the Tropical hotel.

The street with these Tropical hotel is the main street of Matsushima, but there is also shops on the adjacent streets.

It's the same services than in Tobita (BJ+FS) and what I wrote about Tobita may also apply for Matsushima. One of the main differences is that the all the girls available (3 most of the time) sit behind a counter so you just see the upper part of theirs bodies.

The place is far quieter than Tobita probably because the girls are not as good looking. If in Tobita you can find 8-9, at Matsushima, there is nothing beyond 7-8. And as a foreigner, you will have a less «*dozo*» ratio there than in Tobita. Be aware that in some shops, the mama-san will refuse you even if the girl is Ok and sometimes, it's the girl that will say no while the mama-san called you.

So why bother with this place ?

- it's cheaper : 20min/10000 Yen, 30min/15000...
- you can get a shower (before and/or after)
- the girl are more friendly (in general)
- there is far less Japanese men (and fewer cars!)
- it may be easier to go there than to Tobita (especially if you live near a station of the Hanshin line)

The nearer station, 5-10min by walk, is the Hanshin Deyashiki station. Take the East exit and after the stairs, you should see a MacDonald and a traffic circle.
Take the large street (it's a bit on the right/east of the station) and go north. You'll see a primary school on your left. Walk a bit more and turn right at the next street (not the one just after the school ; there should be a chinese/soba restaurant with a yellow sign on the corner: [url]http://gourmet.yahoo.co.jp/0002473456/[/url] ). Here is Kannami.

As only omnibus (futsu) trains stop at this station, you may just get off at the Hanshin Amagasaki station. It's a bit far (at least 15min by walk) but not so hard to find. Take the north exit and go to the left. You will see a shopping arcade ( 尼崎中央商店街 ) with a Matsuya restaurant at the entry. Enter the arcade and walk all the way until you get out (the last shop on your right is a pachinko ; it should take you 10min). Turn left (on the side of a parking lot) and at the next street, turn right. You have found Kannami.

Kannami is pretty small in comparison with Tobita or Matsushima. Like Matsushima, the girls sit behind a counter but it's not as easy to see the girls from the street. The shops don't have a open-space like the two others RLD and most of the time, you can only look through the opening door to see the girls. The mama-sans and a few girls sit outside, just in front of the shop. The RLD seems more friendly (for the Japanese !) than Tobita or Matsushima and I saw a lot of people simply talking outside.

The girls are not as good-looking as the ones in Tobita and probably on par with Matsushima which means 7-8 but not more.

The prices are cheaper (30min/10000Yen), but no shower. The action seems to start pretty late, from 7pm.

Is it Gaijin-friendly ?

It's the most important question but I have to say that I don't know. All the others RLD (Tobita, Matsushima, Shinodayama...) have gaijin-friendly shops so there is probably some hope at Kannami.

I want to try it in the future but it's not really on my top list at the moment. So It would you be nice to know if anyone went there, and how was the experience.
