A favourite of mine uses PL a lot and is quite popular. Recently she logged in and found herself being told as she is popular she should upgrade (IE pay cash) to use PL.

Not being a user of PL I cannot help her but can anyone here advise.

I thought PL was free to girls and the monger paid (don't we always?) but seem she is being asked to subscribe now as well and cannot as no credit card and cash. So if anyone here can tell why this is happening (apart from the message she got that's said 'you are very popular') she would be happy and grateful.

All free members get to send one message every 10 minutes regardless of gender. However, the number of members is relatively small compared to similar sites popular with mongers and Pinays hunting foreigners.

I doubt that the site is penalizing your favorite girl for her popularity. More likely, Pina Love is prompting the popular girls to upgrade to paid memberships that do not have the 10-minute rule because the girls can then message several mongers within a 10-minute period instead of only one monger within the same time. Theoretically, if the popular girls message more mongers, more of these fellas may decide to upgrade to unrestricted paid memberships to keep the conversation going, and in so doing, increase the revenue for the site. Why target the popular girls? Well, popular girls are more likely to have well-heeled sponsors and lovers who can provide the means to secure a paid membership.

We have no way of knowing what the site's operators glean from the data they harvest and analyze. However, it is possible that they discovered that some popular girls are earning a living from patrons of the site and are betting on their willingness to pay to maintain their cash flow.

When a girl gets popular enough ("lots" of messages) then they hit her with this. No way around it for the girl really.

The benefit of paying is that she will leave when the money stops. I pay for cleaner, cook & laundry. The 10 k per month is her pocket money. If I don't give her that she would need to ask for load, for money for personal items, for all and sundry items. The allowance is simply to make it easier for day to day living and pocket money for her. Like I said she did not want it in the first pace. Even with that indications are that I will save a lot of money. She has been a great help in some local shopping that I could not do and I have not had any additional sexual related expenses. My grocery expenses are less than when I was eating alone most of the time, now I am feeding two. In the last my mongering budget was 40 k so there is 30 k in that alone plus the living savings she has helped me to realize.

I do not believe that she is a sex worker. She is an educated girl and is looking for full time work in her area of expertise. I have seen her document package with CV, transcripts, etc and I do know something about her area and have asked some probing questions, along the line of I have always wondered about this. And gotten the correct response.

She is a regular girl who is tired of having a pino BF who treated her like shit, hit her, was drunk all the time and cheated on her and tried to sabotage her career.

I am not some FNG who is shacking up with the first bar girl who agrees to stay overnight. I have been here looking on the dating sites chatted with a few hundred, met and bedded over 50 others before her. I am tired of the game, getting lousy fucks who ask for more money, never show up on time, live with their nose in FaceBook, cannot hold an intelligent conservation etc. Perhaps in a few months I'll want to get back to it but not right now. I want a regular 3 times a day, lounging around the condo naked with her hot body and having someone to talk to and explore places with.

I realize that the possibility still exists that she is working a scam but the more time I spend with her the less likely it seams. I will however always be aware that it is a possibility that she is the consummate long scam artist and has been working me all along. I am also aware that there are some nice regular local girls that actually want an older foreign BF. While the material rewards are part of the decision I will point out that they are also part of the decision (and perhaps a bigger part pf the decision) for a western girl the same general age as the guy back home. Pick a random girl on any site and the odds are most likely 90/10 or more that she is a scammer sex worker. I think my odds are now about 80/20 or better that she is a regular girl.

If she ever does turn out to be a scammer then I am already far ahead in the game if I dump her and move on which I will at the first sign of any scam.

Numerous girls have duplicate accounts so it can't be that hard to organise. Yes multiple email and verification accounts are required.

I remember reading in one of the Terms of Service that the limit is 1000 messages per day (don't quote me as I can't remember if it was PL or FC). If she is that busy, is $100 for an annual subscription to an unlimited account such a big ask? If it is, give me her number and I'll happily work out a repayment plan with her. LOL.

I find that 1 month is too long for me.

After 1 or 2 days I can see all the likely ones and the rest are names that have been there for years (literally). I have been a member for 3 x 1 month subscriptions over the past 3 years.

It must be worthwhile for the rent-seekers because they persist with their sexy-looking profiles month in month out, so they must succeed with the newbies who discover PL but don't realize they are getting professional WGs.

She tried a duplicate account but was blocked. Well asked her upgrade. I suspect as was same IP or same email but am getting the info in drips at the moment.

A lot of girls that guys are meeting on sites are the same ones that have been hoeing in the clubs for years. Had a buddy that made his first trip to AC recently and no matter what insisted to find chicks online before he went. When he showed the pictures at the end of his trip of course everyone was like that is so and so and knew all about the chicks already. Has she received a message specifically saying that she is being blocked because of popularity? Sounds like she is being blocked from reading messages from other unpaid Standard members. That's a limitation on everyone regrdless of popularity. There are a lot of Cheap Charlie's on the site that will not pay for membership but will still try to contact girls with phone numbers in their usernames etc.

Regardless it sounds like the best solution is for her to cough up the $100. It will allow her to view messages from everyone, initiate contact with unpaid members and removed any volume restriction. She would also receive priority placement of her profile and messages

For clarity:

Standard members can send to and receive messages from paid subscribers.

Standard members cannot read messages received from other Satndard Members.

Paid members can send and read messages from anyone.
