On My computer I can access flight info that others can't find. I did research for you and results were not good. From Mia to CTG even looking at all connections the latest departure was 1659 with a connection in panama. Same for ATL and JFK.

When I travel to south america I must go through MIA some times I arrive in Mia before noon with a 11 pm departure. Thats a rough layover. I looked for a cheat hotel with a shuttle bus, to get a few hours sleep. The best I could do was a days inn for $70.00. What a dump. The worst love motel I have stayed in was much better. Good luck.

The easiest way to get to Cartagena is land in Bogota and take one of the Avianca flights to Cartagena that leaves almost every hour or two.

You'll find Bogota has many more flights going into it than Cartagena. Cartagena has a much smaller airport.

BTW, still I do not understand how one who wants to go to Colombia from Europe should buy a ticket to Miami. The only explanation I have is that he told home and office he goes to USA for business, but secretly goes to Cartagena.

I did the same years ago. I was in USA for business, but I added 4 secret days in CTG flying via MIA to BOG first.

What have we to do!

My hat is off to everyone trying to help this guy. If my desire was to try someplace new, I'd look at a multi-city route. Go somewhere else for a day or two, which gives an easy connection to your desired destination. However, I don't see any attractive options for his departure window.

So next step is alternative airports. The Fort Lauderdale airport is less than 30 miles away from MIA and there's a flight to CTG via MCO (Orlando) leaving at 1 O:49 pm, at least for the random date I used.

This gives 2 possible options.

1. Find ground transportation from MIA to FLL and fly via Orlando.

2. Find a flight from MIA to MCO which gets you there in time for the MCO to CTG flight. There are 1 way flights starting at $49, which is almost certainly cheaper than taxi or Uber to FLL. Although there may be a cheap shuttle bus.

All this depends on what day you're arriving at MIA. It doesn't appear the MCO to CTG flies every day.

OK, must say thanks for all the assists.

In fact I've accepted I'll have to lose a days mongering, and I'm booking a cheapo room in MIA for the Friday, and I'll take an early flight out of MIA on Sat, probably.

So. Saturday night in CTG. Bring it on.

Last year in Havana it was around 120 minutes after landing that I managed to "relax" with the first of several chicas. Hoping for something similar this year.

Given that my bags were rigourously searched on entry in 2005 but now I'm an old fart I have some regular prescription blood pressure meds and ideally I'd like to bring the generic cialis as well.

Is that likely to cause issues if they go through all my luggage?

[/QUOTE]The action is technically everywhere. After 10 pm you can find chicas at the clocktower and LDV, Space, and Isis are all on the same street. There are Venezuelanas everywhere.

During the day the beaches in bocagrande usually have chicas that are out enjoying the beach and will go back to your apartment for a bit of money.

The only explanation I may find is that you told home and office that you are going to USA for business, but secretly you are going have a side trip to Cartagena. I did the same in the past, and more than once, so I would not be surprised. Honestly, I cannot imagine any other plausible reason for the choiice of flying to MIA.

I am speaking about a plastic bag with supermarket size. I never had a single problem for that, in 20-30 years of travelling.
I do not use so many meds and so often. I just wish to have my supply ready in case I fall sick for whatever, from flue to hitting my head against a pole because I look at my cell phone.

Be careful to mix ED drugs with blood pressure meds. The combined effect may make you faint.

Secondarily, you should NOT travel to Colombia with ED drugs, but buy your stock there. It's cheaper and prescription free. In Cartagena, go to Pasteur. They sell generic Sildenafil and others much cheaper than in other farmacies.

I'm fond of generic Cialis, I like its gentle 12 hour effect, its like its me only 10 years ago. Sildenafil is a bit one-shot for me.

I traveled to Cartagena in May this year. I stayed near bocagrande at an apartment. It was chica friendly, especially after I greeted the doorman with a little cash. The girls are everywhere, the beach, the plaza, etc.

Had a nice girl come from the beach to my room. 120 K for the hour. She was 23 and light tan and incredible body, GFE and everything.

Also pulled a nice babe from the clock tower at night, although it was a bit pricier. 160 k for GFE for an hour, real nice, late twenties and a great all natural body.

Also don't be afraid to use the internet, that can help you negotiate better. As always the more Spanish you know, the better it will be for all.

I also know that tensions have been high between Venezuela and the US for years, and usually when tensions are high large visits by the US Navy are announced ahead of time. Not to mention that when something as large and slow moving as a US naval fleet is going anywhere its hard to keep it a secret anyway from Russian satellites. Russians have troops in Venezuela now. So most likely it would be announced ahead of time so as to give some bullshit reason for the visit and thus not raise tensions any higher. But I am just spitballing.
