I realize individual mileage varies with everything, even pricing. Nonetheless I'd like to get a basic idea of the general "going rate" with the after hour club freelancers.. both Thai and non Thai. I know there are some Russians and Uzbeks, former FSU girls around as well and I suspect their prices will be higher but I'd like to know what to generally expect.

End November and during December I was frequently around the Asoke part and visited the Sheraton Bar Su very often, for some drinks before going to Spasso etc.
On a certain day on the street in front of Robinson, around 6 PM, I saw a girl in black robe and red shoes (the Su dress) and through our eyes we recognizes but did not recognize, we smiled but each other followed our way. She looked a couple of time back and I did the same, followed the girl on her way to the Sheraton (over the bridges) and .....there I lost her!
Later that evening I saw how stupid I was, I recognized the Su dress but could not found the girl I saw earlier that day.
Soon I will be back in BKK and will try if they are willing to spend some hours with me after work :)
It would be nice to hear if others have some similar experience.

Quite like that spot, usually just before closing, when some bars play old Thai standards. Love to watch the girls do their bit of traditional dance, which they usually do with a lot more energy and animation than they put into go-go numbers.
Few years back a favourite Thai bar song was 'Welcome to Thailand' by Carabao. I heard it so many times that it wormed its way into my head and I went out and bought the album. When I got home, I used to play it when I was pissed up and getting a little maudlin for the LOS and all those Thai honeys so far away:(.
Are there spas in Bangkok similar to Sands in Jakarta that have workout facilities, steam room, sauna, buffet, massage, etc. Also, what about Pattaya? I'm familiar with Silom Sauna in Pattaya but are there others?

You could taxi around Sri Nakarin and Thepparak road and look for neon .. there are fancy places and hole in the wall KTVs and at least one fishbowl massage place, on Thepparak. No idea what's still open after 1am. Likely to be much more confusing and unpredictable. Better know some Thai.
Outside Robinson you find all kinds of street walkers, I cannot say for sure if a particular girl from Sheraton bar would indulge, but yes the point you are referring is a pick up point.
If she was smiling and looking back, you should have been chivalorous and offered her a drink, anyway, there is a always a second time

I don't go often with Caucasian P4P girls here, but their rates are often twice the price that you would pay with local girls in the same area / kind of venues.

thanks. I'm just curious how much of a premium would an after hours club freelancer (e.g. Oscar, Bossy, etc) charge vs your usual Beergarden girl.
I suspect there is definitely a premium, as they tend to be younger and more attractive.

Bossy, Spicy, Boss, Climax and the like: going rate is 2K LT. I've had some for 1,5K too.
The only places where there really is a premium are Spasso, Q bar, CM2, etc.

No its 'Welcome to Thailand' ([url]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYXe7afFyzc&feature=related[/url]). The song starts with the exhortation “WELCOME TO THAILAND’ and the sound of 50+ bargirls screaming this at 200 decibels, as they did every time it played, is not something I would likely to soon forget:D.
The song was quite controversial at the time when so much foreign currency was pouring into the country through its largely single male tourist industry (otherwise only backpackers) and before the Thai economy had really taken off.

I usually select the younger and most attractive girls among the freelancers, and you might also find them in several other "regular" places as they often go dance and party in the clubs too. No premium then as they are exactly the same girls in an other place, but for the occasional freelancers that you may meet in clubs and almost only there, prices are probably a bit higher (I would say between 25 to 50% higher than a "pro" of comparable age and beauty if you have a good chemistry with them, but you would probably have to pay twice the price - or even more - of a "pro" if the occasional P4P girl doesn't really fancy you).
Got a few cute Eastern European girls in the (not too ancient) past for 2000 baht (LT) in Pattaya, but as mentioned earlier, it's not really what I am hunting when I'm in Thailand...
I need to entertain a customer in BKK in April and am looking for a bar/club where they have sexy shows but somewhat more upscale than Nana or Soi Cowboy.
I was thinking about The Bank (never been there) but the website says they only have a show once a week.
Any good ideas?
