think we are discussing different events. i am discussing the van driven by paki / nepalese guys that had blaring music. it was either parked near fenwicks or around the corner from laguna. ladies used to stop and talk to the guys, sometimes share a drink. but the number one method was for one or two of the guys to visit laguna, buy girl / s drinks and then bring them to the van for a good time. this is different to guys driving vehicles around the streets of wanchai (which happens today) propositioning girls from their cars. this still happens today and ladies must be cautious. they particularly target gloucester road for ladies waiting at bus stops.

I have always paid a visit to Borocay in the past, and when I leave, as I have reported often, I wonder why I ever went to it in the first place! Maybe my luck in Borocay will change. I also found that most of the girls in Borocay were working under the dreaded agent who controlled the prices.

You are quite right about it being hit or a miss but more often than not it has been a miss for me as I have rarely seen it very busy. Having said that, it has the odd jem and you can strike lucky.
