Use UPI only if you have a common name
I never use UPI. Only cash. I did a mistake of paying an MP girl thru UPI. The payment got stuck and she started harassing me for payment for next few days. Even after Gpay confirmed the payment went thru, she lied that she didn't get the money and started demanding another payment. Finally, I sent the screenshot and threatened her and then she stopped. Also, when you use cash, you don't give into their exorbitant demand and you stick to your budget.
Two points to note:
1. If you are someone who has a common name and one can't easily find you through a Google search by name, you can use UPI and not worry about getting blackmailed.
2. I only use PhonePe now, stopped using GPay. I had almost 10 x more transfer confirmation delays using GPay compared to PhonePe, that I rarely use GPay unless absolutely required.

Beware of MP's. Lot of police activity around
I recently visited a spa in hsr and took a chick. She told me that police is coming in civil clothes and checking the MP's. One of the branch of this MP has been shut down. Girls have been asked not to provide any extras. Considering the change in government- I am sure civil servants has changed & because of which they will ask for money & new normal will emerge. Let the dust settle down for a month.
Struggling to buy subscription
I've tried buying bitcoin through various wallets in order to buy subscription here. Here is how it has gone:
1. Binance: Credit card gets declined. In order to use Gpay, you need ID verification. But if I try that, my driver's license gets declined for some unknown reason.
2. Wazirx: I can deposit INR into wallet and buy crypto. But in order to send bitcoin to ISG's address, it has a minimal withdrawal limit of bitcoins amounting to $36, which is higher than the subscription fee of $25 here. I will have to resort to paying this amount if there is no other way.
3. Pionex: gpay doesn't work and credit card gets declined.
Let me know if there is any other way of buying subscription here.
