The multilingual girl in Orange is seriously cute, but must have dozens of long distance novios in love with her.

Anyway, they put the SIM into the phone he provided and he was in business. On the day he left he went back to the Orange store to return the SIM and collect his deposit. Unfortunately I missed him as he was diverted into a preflight massage therapy session, as often happens when you are trying hard to get from A to B in Sosua, but end up with your pants round your ankles.

I think it might mean sightly different things in different countries. Because I only use it or have it used towards me as Que Pena or Que pena contigo: How embarrassing, what a shame, In that context. Never as "I feel your pain"

So lo siento mucho por ti could also translate as I feel very much for you or as I feel your pain.

All I can say for Romanoff is that, it is not a fancy place but it is a very friendly and strongly laissez-faire environment. No one is going to bust someone's family jewels if one is circumspect and maintains low profile. I enjoyed the bonhomie with the residents as much as I liked my time with the women.

Capirinha is very much there. 24/7 and as you mentioned, almost across the hotel but I did not go there as I was told it is DR food. Personally, I do not care for chiecken or beans. My problem!

Bologna is now a big fancy building which too is just across. The owner is an Italian (Edoardo).introduced to me by another Italian. I had two dinners. Enjoying a truly first class meal but relative to the local standard, it is pricey. I paid 1300+ for a fish / meat main course, plus an appetizer, wine and a dessert. Espresso was offered by the boss. People frequenting the place are typically those who can afford or who want to impress. Service was particularly good and one girl and one garcon, understood Italian very well.

As Frannie already explained, I was not spoken about the SIM card purchase option. Renting essentially meant keeping a deposit of 500 pesos which I got back and I used about 700 pesos worth of minutes. The Orange woman was notably efficient, even by our standards, not to speak about her linguistic acumen.

But on the big picture, as far as I am concerned, I have left a piece of my heart with too many people across the world. Some knew and some were not even aware of it. Most of them were not pros (so Western Union has no role) and even if some are pros, their heart beats exactly like mine. I just cannot forget the face of this person this time when she gets to discover that I visited a massage parlor earlier. All she could say is, 'why didn't you call me'. Perhaps I am naive but I felt her feelings were genuine and I thought I was unbelievably crass and insensible.

No matter where, I think we all keep doing this. Bump into someone out of the thousands and suddenly magic happens and we wish time will stop moving but of course, it does not and we keep this sadness within us as we traverse life.

I have taken pictures of the beach, my hotel room, photos while riding around the island, and of fully-clothed chicas. Don't think there's much harm in that. But I understand where you are coming from.

If I post any naked photos of chicas on this forum I usually leave their faces out of them (especially if they are very recent photos). Most members on here will tell you that posting "full-face" photos of chicas immediately after your trip does not turn out well for them (especially if you told said chica you'd be back in a month or two) because the "network" has their spies (and snitches) everywhere!

I've also never taken photos of chicas (fully clothed or not) without their consent.

Arousing) of a picture. This time in the Classico? Disco I was dancing with two women and there was one woman who was trying to catch my attention. Her glances captivated me. She later told me laughingly that she was slightly tipsy.

To me, other body parts do not quite convey what a single smile or a pair of eyes can and so when I have to obliterate the face, to me it becomes something that have gone down in value so I just plain decided it is not worth the effort. But that is me and thanks for understanding what I am trying to say.

It was near an empty lot. That empty lot was sometimes used for carnival type rides, with big presidente cerveza banners. I can remember going to Bologna Bar after High Caribe Disco.

I would rather see a full body pic with a face (even clothed) of a chica then see pics of faceless naked body parts, but that's me. The flip side is that for some reason guys will show the chicas their pics on this site when they get down to Sosua and if the chica surmises that you took the pic she might be pissed when she sees you on your next trip. For that and other reasons you see faces blurred out or pics of dismembered body parts LOL.

We have similar views on DR and Sosua. Where else can an older guy go for a week and connect not only with beautiful girls, but also with the locals. Whatever their motivations, to me it's the downright friendliest place on earth.

As for leaving a piece of your heart, there are as many types of chicas as there are types of mongers (us). They have a short window in their ives to make a little money and improve their circumstances. For the most part they do NOT, and can not, with a few obvious sad exceptions, continue in the trade.

The less intelligent ones, like the SW's will go back to their impoverished lives, but a few smart ones, pros and part timers alike are living well, driving SUVs in some cases, and supporting their families rather well, with schools, uniforms, educational and trade courses etc. Some have jobs in banks, government and major stores and restaurants.

The smart ones know how to dress and behave in polite company and get invited to the Home country of their novios where they meet family and pass rather well. They also have perfected the art of making their Novio feel comfortable and secure in the relationship, especially in public places and with friends and family. No flirting, a healthy and normal relationship with other males, in which you are included. She will have the respect of her family and friends, male and female alike.

My point is, if you are lucky enough to connect with one, it can be a beautiful thing indeed, and you don't necesarily have to leave your heart behind.

In fact, to take issue with what my buddy SavePro says, a little Werte Yunior to keep it cooking, is no big investment, compared to the lifetime of money you can waste on unnapreciative and spoiled women from developed countries.

Just like panning for gold, you can occasionally fing a nugget.
