Never been there on a Friday morning. Have been there Saturday and Sunday mornings. And there's been plenty to pick from. Many of the girls tell me they usually work almost every day so my guess is yes. Especially at AB.

Is AB too hot right now?
I mean the bar temperature inside, I want to go by I'm waiting for cooler days, can someone please give me an update?
They always said they have A/C but it never runs, same thing with the motel next door, a freaking sauna.
Forecast for TJ 85 and up so I figure AB must be around 95+ 110% humidity.

I just got back. AB is hot for me, as I'm ALWAYS hot, but it's probably in te 70's at night. HK and Trop have AC ducts that blow COLD air if you stand by them. CC is also ok. The rooms in Coahuila are ok not steaming hot, some have AC.

From personal experience,

Unless you're running before you get to AB the A/C in the bar should be sufficient to keep you cool as long as you only sit and sip a cold beer. It's not supermarket frozen aisle cool, but cool enough to be comfortable. As for the rooms, they also have air conditioning. It was about as good as the bar. Which in my opinion wasn't sufficient to keep cool while busting a move. Cause while doing the deed, both the chica and myself found each other getting kind of sweaty. Although I found sweaty sex kind of hot. Just be sure to use body spray before you meet the girl and to shower afterwards.

In AB as the number of people increase, so does the heat. Last night it was okay for me at 9pm but not at 10:30 as it filled up.

The AC in the hotel varies widely from room to room. In some you can barely feel it and it is too warm. In some it blows so strongly that chica closed the vent as it was hitting us on the bed.

Note, that SD and TJ have many microclimates and while it may be 85 in some places it will be a lot cooler in others (and hotter further inland). It doesn't usually get that hot in la zona.

PP[/QUOTE]Some demand to be paid upfront, others do not. I do not know about losing leverage with them. Typically, we get down to business immediately after the money transaction takes place. It would be hard to back out of the deal (even if I had not paid) once my cock was in her mouth.

I have no problem paying up front and have had great service. I tell them that I will give them a propina (tip) for good service and generally give $20 if it was good. After all, they are providing a service and etiquette demands you tip them properly (yes I am half joking here).

The whole setup at the zona is a well oiled machine. Everyone is in on the action. Leaving without paying or getting into a monetary dispute would be a very bad scene for the monger. Though I have never seen it happen, it has at some point I am sure and it was dealt with. Once you close the door with a girl, you better be prepared to pay up.

Are they running the A/C?
I have never got that luxury while in AB, I always go out to get some fresh air, maybe they run the A/C at night because I always feel hot in the day, and the same for hotel coahuila.
Please don't tell me is my imagination, I live in the San Fernando Valley I know what hot is LOL!

Yes, very true when there's a lot of people inside it gets really hot and very humid i guess driving ol the way from LA to TJ in a car with a nice cold A/C can make you more sensitive to the hot TJ weather?
Trust me on this one they don't run the A/C because of us the customers they just don't give a shit about us is because the girls ask for it.

Sorry, a $20 tip is waaay out of line. This is Mexico, not LA. Normal business transactions don't require any tip, or just small ones. Locals tip $1 or $2 after large meals at restaurants. $5 tips for great service arriba are fine, but not expected, $10 borders on the exorbitant. Paying up front, paying top dollar and paying exorbitant tips are just hallmarks of gringos ignorant of the local culture. This goes for Mexico, Central America, SEA, etc., etc.

HK taking over as the top contender or is AB still holding out? I'm looking to hit it up Friday for a "happy" birthday. One other question though, Daytime vs Nighttime? Much of a difference?

HK is popular right now because of the remodel which expanded it greatly and it's a cheap thrill because you can grope the chica's for a buck. It's hit and miss as to quality on any given day. I like hanging out there, if you find someone you can make out and do the private dances which can be off the charts. 20 bucks for two songs.

I'd hit AB about 5 p.m. or so and catch both shifts, day leaving and night coming around 8 p.m.

The difference isn't so much between clubs but who you know, that's what determines great sessions. Familarity is everything down here.

HK has changed which has it growing in popularity. I believe they've also been doing more shows with variety. I have yet to witness it myself though so I can't comment if its better. But even though, I preffer the calmer bar scene of AB to the rowdy strip club scene of HK. As for the women, AB still has most of the perfect 10's.

There is a difference from night time and day time. You'll find more girls and hotter ones during the night. But this doesnt mean the day shift doesn't have its share of hotties. There's just less of them. Of course it comes down to personal prefference.

So really, there is not much difference in the zona since last year. Economy has taken a downturn but that's happening everywhere. Things are pretty much the same at the Zona.

And i think the shifts at AB change at 9pm. With the hottest girls starting their shifts around 11pm or so.

The private dances at HK are fun if you're into a quick thrill. But personally I think 20 bucks is pretty expensive for the 5 to 7 minutes you get.

Many thanks on the feedback. Its pretty much what i kinda figured, i might have to check out HK even if its just to see how its changed but sounds to me like AB is still the place to do the deed. Should be checking it out later today, ill be the guy enjoying a good cig with hard liqour, no better way and place to celebrate my bday. :) Hope a good report will be coming tommorrow, if your there, raise a glass with me! haha.

I preffer people didn't smoke in the bars but I doubt that's going to stop. One time a guy complained and told the waiters to get people to stop. Well let's just say he was ridiculed by the Dj and everyone in the bar laughed at him.
