Sam Houston put it to them-lol
[QUOTE=Mugroso]I personally don't know a thing but a friend got into a 99 year lease with an owner. He says thats the closest he could get to owning property in Mexico. Don't let this stop your plans, look into it. I'm sure there has to be a better way.
Remember the last time Americans bought property in Mexico. They called it Texas.

That's basically what a land trust is. It is a renewable 50 year lease. I know there are tons of gringos, rich mexicanos and other foreign nationals buying homes there under the program. Sounds like a good place for a home inspector who speaks the language and is about ready to retire. The only thing that concerns me is that is a pretty good haul to any decent mongering sites. I mean if I'm gonna have the time on my hands, I better have a way to enjoy it.
1st Bullfight of the Season 4-08-07, 5:00 p.m.
Ok, whoever posted the report several days ago on the bullfights was wrong. The bullfight is going to be held on Sunday April 8, 2007 starting at 5: 00 p. M. Sombra = $150 pesos y Sol $100 pesos. The event will be held at the downtown bullring off Francisco Villa. These events are typically held over holiday weekend and Easter Weekend is no exception. Thats all I know but there were posters hanging all over the downtown Malinche restaurant so its verified.
I should have realized too
Hey no problem! I appologize for the tone of my e-mail. I've found that when I ask people in Juarez where or when something is, in my limited Spanish, many residents are not too well informed. I should have known that the date was suspect because they do seem to schedule these events over holiday weekends. Yes the critical thing is that there will be a season this year and because they are accessible to tourists they will be well attended.
Bring your binoculars, Cinegas32, for the fresas in the front rows!!!
