Well, my friend it all started with the UN and then the NGOs drive the prices up but there are still many babes out there that are not looking for a one time kill. If you go to the clubs, you will find the pros. They have been spoiled by the UN and the NGOs. The problem with you guys is you think the only place to find a girl willing to give it up is the hookers in the clubs. I still say driving or walking down the street and approaching the many hot babes on the street is the way to go. Don't be shy, these are not American stuck up bitches, they are hot babes that want to have a good time. The last time I heard, there are like 7 girls to every guy. When you get I contact, smile, blow a kiss, try to approach them. More than 8 times out of 10 you will get what you are wanting. A hot babe between the sheets with out breaking the bank. Believe me when I say it, they love sex as much as we do.

I have to agree with Badbear that all that needs to happen is to show a smile, wink, or a "Kijan ou ye?" if you have the language and bingo away you go. Personally I've never been to the clubs so really can't say much about them for or against. But why go when there are plenty of girls on the street and in the markets. You'd be surprised how many girls speak at least a little English. Even if they don't, what you want and what she wants is an international language spoken by all mankind.

I know I'm beating a dead horse (I went back through and read every post on here though I've been following for some time) but Haiti is much safer than main stream media portrays. PaP has its manifestations now and then but they are fairly easy to avoid. I've walked all over PAP and many other cities and never felt threatened except by attractive women! A bit of "situational awareness" is good to have but them where wouldn't it be? Safety is a commonly asked question on this thread so just figured I'd throw in my 2 cents that's not worth a nickel. Most of my time is spent outside of the PaP area so I'm not so familiar with hotels and such but the Delmas area and Petionville seem to be the best places to start. I'd be interested to know which places are confirmed gf as of today. Seems the Imperial has been in the past but may be half open of sorts now?
Someone mentioned this Hotel Plop Plop being built next to the Villa Imperial on Delmas. Any idea if it is GF?

I have been with an exceptional lady multiple times while I am here but I lost my local phone and have been unable to contact her or figure something out since work has been hectic.
Airbnb has good places at 40-$50.
Good info and will try a few places myself. Saw a place in Cap called Coco's Hotel! Really wanted to stop and inquire but didn't get the chance. I did get a chuckle however.
Forgot to mention seeing a sign for"Coco's Hotel" on the main drag in Cap. It was good for a laugh if nothing else. The place looked a bit grungy on the outside but I didn't actually get to check it out inside. Would like to get back there to see if Patricia has any friends.

I went to a similar concept in St Kits island and it was $350 a night. Granted there where more amenities in St Kits vs Haiti.
This place is secluded and 20 minutes from Jacmel. From Port au Prince it takes 2 hours. Its on the ocean so you sleep with the sounds of the waves (the girl I was with was obsessed with this aspect). The ocean in front of the cottages are not great for swimming however there are two very nice beaches 10-minutes away from it.
Food there is excellent as well ($10-$15 USD).
Bring your own wine however.

When I think that I spend more than 60 bucks per night in La Vallee de Jacmel for a nice hotel but without the beach having seen this makes me think twice LOL.

As for Petion Ville specifically, I don't know of anywhere besides the hotels. Best Western is apparently the best. I'm living in a rented house with another colleague on the engagement contract. I am setting up to visit another part the countryside this weekend. The heat in Port au Prince is getting unbearable.
Living in a rented house, why bother with the hotels at all? Too many questions from the colleague? The heat is everywhere unless you can get near the ocean or up in the mountains.
The talk in Haiti is the exodus of NGOs recently. I am curious if anyone has any thoughts on this to validate. I read UNICEF and World Bank downsized their operations tremendously, UNICEF from 290 to 90 people. I am expecting this to reduce prices of hotels, restaurants and other leisure sports without destroying the economy at the same time.
I came across a Naomie Harris look alike and promptly invited her to the house. She was attractive by any standard but absolutely boring and too shy no matter what I did, making it almost unenjoyable. I took her number and hopefully next time she is more open.
