I just can't understand how he spent $3.4 million on hookers. Apparently he was also flying them in from around the world to New Zealand.
However, if you want to try something more adventurous I would recommend the old cities in european russia (Smolensk, Oryol, Voronezh, Bryansk, Pskov, etc.). These are all relatively close to Moscow (5-10 hours by train) and tend to be pretty impoverished compared to the Volga/Urals region which means things are slightly cheaper and girls somewhat lower class (good for quick scoring). But most importantly they tend to be more compact and interesting from an architectural and historical point of view so even if you are waking up at 2pm every day after boozing/partying/fucking all night you can still spend an enjoyable afternoon at a few museums or just strolling (gulyating).
Just bumped into your post. Interesting indeed. A city with pleasant areas to stroll around is definitely a plus.
Thanks for the info.
But last year I travelled by train from Moscow to Irkutsk
How would you rate Chelyabinsk, Kurenda ?
I know that provincial Russian cities are pretty much all the same, but Chelyabinsk seems to me rather interesting, off the beaten tracks (out of the Trans-Siberian route) and also definitely not as "wealthy" and cosmopolitan (and consequently expensive and filled with Oil & Gas expats) as the other Ural big cities like Ekaterinburg, Ufa or Tyumen.
Also got an exceptionnal answers ratio from Chelyabinsk women on dating site (some knock-out beauties). And seems they don't see much foreigners.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Russian_subdivisions_GRP_per_capita.svg
Note that is GDP per capita and not average salary, so take that with a grain of salt. Still, I think it highly correlates to salary. Basically it's what you expect, Moscow and Petersburg along with oil-rich Eastern Siberia have the highest GDP per capita. The Volga region does well also. But the "black earth" belt is pretty far down the totem pole, and has lots of medium sized cities which are perfect for the monger. Big enough to be interesting during down time and to be able to date multiple girls with no issues, but small enough to be cheap so you can be the big fish.
Just bumped into Latexian's great analysis.
What about the costs (accommodation, dining out, partying, ect) in the "poorer" European Russia areas?..are they significantly lower than in wealthy Siberia, Volga or Ural regions ?
Hi all,
I will be in E'Burg next week stayuing at the Zizavi.
Does someone know if the hotel is GF?
Dear friends, I will go to Ivanovo very soon but I can not find anything in internet about our hobby in this city. Do you have some info about hotel/call girls and/or special massage salon etc? Thank you in advance for your help
Anybody has some hints/tips for Novosibirsk?
Tia. Ziggy
Anybody have any experiences (recent or not) in the Russian Far East - Vladivostok or Khabarovsk areas? I know that very little English is spoken in those parts, but otherwise how is the infrastructure for travellers?
I've met some beautiful women over the years who are from the region so I figured I'd go directly to the source. Would appreciate any info related to the area.
After travelling to Nizhny Novgorod (NN) regularly for a few years now, I thought I’d share a few tips on this charming city.
Introduction
Let me say, right from the start, that NN is a great monger place. Through extensive trial and error, I’ve had plenty of success there (and some failures, but that comes with the territory). It is full of vibrant university types, most keen to practise their English with a foreigner, particularly from my part of the world. There are some good bars, places to go and a good atmosphere, summer or winter.
Orientation
The city can be divided into two areas, due to its position on the confluence of the Oka and Volga Rivers. There is the area where the train station is located, an area predominately occupied by factories ; and the “upper city”, where the Kremlin, the main shopping area, the university and the many institutes are located.
I never went to the factory areas, and except to catch the train, never went to the area where the train station is. I concentrated on the upper area, because there was no real need to go anywhere else!
The main street is Pokrovskaya street, a pedestrian street about a mile long. Here, on a nice summer evening you can just sit back with a beer and admire the splendour of the dyevushka in all of her glory. On a winter’s day, they are just as fetching (albeit with a few more clothes on). Here you can try the lost tourist, or the photographic adventurer, or just the generous foreigner. You may land a nice catch by using any of these disguises, at least someone to have a drink with!
There are some nice restaurants and bars along this street and in the streets around.
Pokrovskaya street links the Kremlin area with Gorky Square, an important transportation hub and an easy reference point for the city centre.
Where to Stay
I only ever stayed at two hotels – the Oka Hotel on Gagarina avenue and the Oktyabrskaya on 9A Verkhnevolzhskaya, and even then, I only stayed two nights at the Oktyabrskaya. As far as I know (and I picked up a WG at the bar), the Oktyabrskaya is girl friendly.
The Oka is a nice business standard hotel, with the renovated rooms on the 7th floor. Rooms 701-704 have two rooms – a bedroom and a living room. 704 is my favourite...the scene of many delights!
The hotel is very girl friendly. Within 10 minutes of checking in, you’ll receive a phone call offering a girl – I never took up the caller on this offer as I preferred to choose my own. You can do this by going to the cafe on the 5th floor after 10pm and waiting for the hotel girls to come in. They vary greatly in looks and performance, but generally they are a nice group and I’ve got to know most of them over the years. The cost is 2500 RUR an hour, and I’ve never been ripped off by one of them. They’ll perform together (some more into girls than others) and I’ve had up to four at once with no problems. Sometimes you’ll run into them in the lift or in the lobby, and unless they’ve just been called up for duty, they’ll be available.
If you bring a girl in, and you have a double room, they’ll just register the girl to the room, give her a few breakfast tickets and away you go. If you bring a third girl, they’ll charge 650 RUR for the extra guest. Despite there being some very nice girls at the check-in counter, they’ve never batted an eyelid at anyone I’ve brought back. (Not sure what happens if you have a single room, as I’ve never had one).
The hotel has three bars attached to it, as well as the Cafes on the 2nd and 5th Floors. The first bar is just off the lobby and is usually pretty quiet, but good for a meal or a beer or watching who is coming and going but no girls.
The second is a sports bar/bowling alley basically underneath the hotel. A nice bar and you often get some pretty girls playing bowls there, but I’ve never seen any WG. I’ve taken my sponsorette’s there for a meal and bowling and they like it.
The next bar is the Club Motor. This is one of the diviest bars I’ve ever been in to, but for some reason, I liked it. Generally on a week night, it is pretty quiet but you may occasionally find a table of studentka there celebrating something, or some lonely girls just out on the town. It is dark & dingy, but a real experience. On Thursdays they sometimes have strippers, and more than once I’ve seen this turn into an amateur night. Fridays they often have bands and this is when the club really fills up. Plenty of dyevs, and all very happy to chat. A few phone numbers and even a freebie once, and a good time to be had.
I also got to know a few of the bar guys, the manager and a young guy who sings karaoke. They are all happy to help and call a “friend” if you are in need. In my early days, if I wanted a change from the hotel girls, I’d use their services.
Around the back of the hotel is a sauna, and it has two areas that you can rent by the hour. I think it cost 1500 RUR an hour (or maybe that was two – my minimum stay). There’s a change room, a room with a table and chair, one with a bed and of course showers, a pool and a sauna itself. I’ve used these quite often, and are good value if you don’t want to take the girls back to your room. The girls also seem to like them.
Stripclubs & Bars
Regular Clubs & Bars
There are two bars to go to according to my girls. They are Rocco and Z-Top. I haven’t been to Rocco much. When I did go there, I recall it was a part of a large complex that may have also included a strip bar. Z-Top is a huge club just off Nizhny-Volzhskay Naberezhnaya. I had a few good nights there (although Face Kontrol can be strict) with plenty of dyevs on show, go-go dancers and possibilities for P4P (although do be careful offering it straight up...).
Also Matriza and Picasso get good mentions, but not really being much of a clubber, I have not been to these places.
There is a nice bar (called the Penthouse) on Mal. Pokrovskaya, just down and around the corner basically from Macdonalds. I didn’t detect any WG’s there, but the times I have been there was tables of studentka and they certainly looked approachable. I took my sponsorettes there a number of times, and with hooka & sushi available, they liked it.
Strip Clubs
As far as strip clubs are concerned, there are quite a few in the city. It seems alot of the restaurants and hotel complexes have an adjoining strip club.
Those that I am familiar with include Club 33, also on Nizhny-Volzhskay Naberezhnaya. It has the advantage of being just around the corner from Z-Top, and the girls are dressed as nurses (befitting the name of the bar). 1500 RUR to get into the VIP section, and this is worth it. Although the same girls move between the VIP and non-VIP sections, they are far more attentive in the VIP. Generally very good looking and youngish (alot of the girls are students). The usual ranges of private dances are available, and depending on the girl, there may be some touching allowed. I did ask one blonde stunner with near perfect English how much to get her back to the hotel and it was in the vicinity of 30k. I don’t know if that is usual.
Another place, and the first place I ever went was called “Strip Club” in a complex on Ill’inskaya Street. I was the only customer and so had undivided attention. I wasn’t too bad, and I had a triple girl private dance which was one of the best I’ve ever had. The girls were top-shelf, were into each other and I was allowed touching and a jerk-off, which they liked very much. I’ve since seen one of them out of the club (she was at the NN University where I visit often – I actually recognised her during a lecture I was giving...pretty funny) and I had another one from this encounter when she moved to Club Dream (more on that later).
One to avoid in my opinion is called Club Lotus or Lotus Flower (something like that anyway). It is on Pokrovskaya street, at the Kremlin end on the left as you walk down toward the Kremlin. 1500 RUR to get into the VIP section, much smaller VIP than others, lower quality girls and a lack lustre feel to the place. Only redeeming feature is that it is easy to find.
A small club close to the Oka Hotel on Gagarina avenue is called Dreams or Club Dream. It is part of a small casino complex. To get there, leave the Oka, head right up the street to a perehod. Cross the street, emerge from the perehod and head right. Walk down the street about 100m and it is on the left. There is usually an expensive car on show out the front, and hot girls in the windows. Go in, head left and through a door into a casino. On the right you’ll see a white door – go through (you may have to pay – I had a VIP pass and didn’t have to) and you’ll be in the strip bar section. A bar at one end, two private booths at the other end and a dancing area in the middle. Usually 4-6 girls rotating through and all very attractive (they’ll also all tell you they are students.) Prices for private dances etc are pretty reasonable (around 600 RUR-1500 RUR), and the girls will usually spend more time sitting with you than usual (it is very rarely crowded) in the main section.
There is a hotel attached to the club that offers a room on hourly rates. You negotiate with the girl and she organises the room. I think it’s about 2800 RUR an hour for the room and then the girls are negotiable. I’ve had two from there (a combination of alcohol, attractive young women and erotic dancing loosens the wallet) and one was 6500 and the other 8500 (tsk tsk...) for 2 hours...but they were stunning!
There are plenty of other strip bars/clubs in the city, but I haven’t been out all that much recently.
Places to Eat
I won’t go too much into this, but places where you might like to take a dyev include the aforementioned Penthouse (look for the sign with the Black cat on it).
There’s a sushi bar at the top end of Pokrovskaya street (on the right as you walk down). I was in there once (a Saturday afternoon), and of the 22 seats available in the non-smoking section, 21 were taken by women under 30! I was amazed.
Another interesting place is “English Embassy”, for nice waitresses (very short skirts), most of whom speak English, and English beers on tap. It is located at Zvezdinka Street , just off Pokrovskaya street, one block. Similar to the John Bull chain in Moscow.
Also on Pokrovskaya street is a nice Czech restaurant with some of the nicest (and coldest) beer in Russia. Also hot waitresses and live music makes this a nice chill out place. The dyevs usually like the sausages here too! It’s on Pokrovskaya Street, about half way down on the left.
There’s a good shashlik place, also on the right of Pokrovskaya street as you head toward the Kremlin, at the top end.
Other Resources
The Internet
I had alot of success on the internet. I met with around a dozen or so girls, some who were advertising “sex for money” and others who may have been looking for sponsorship or “friendship & chat” that meant “sex for money”.
Some were short term (there are a few apartment/salons along Maxsim Gorky Street off Gorky Square) and then there were the long term sponsorships. I used Rambler, which shares the database of a number of sites (Mamba at least being one of them). Of course, using the net is always a hit or miss affair, but perseverance and a keen eye eventually paid off.
NN University
I had the opportunity of working here a number of times and it is well worth a visit just to walk the grounds, particularly in summer. Have a seat and watch the awesome parade! There isn’t a bar as such on the grounds, but there is one across the road that changes its name almost weekly. Sometimes it is open and sometimes not. The university is on Gagarina avenue just down from the Oka hotel. There are many studentka here who need help with their fees...
Conclusion
If you get a chance to go to NN, take it. The train ride from Moscow is relaxing (five hours or so, enough time for a few beers and to get relaxed). The girls are nice, friendly and lack the “stuck-up” nature of many Moscow based girls. They’ll generally be interested in you as they don’t see many foreigners. It’s a relatively safe place (usual precautions apply) with some very GF accommodation options.
Happy to answer any questions,
Cheers,

Then again, she was probably so hot, that the brain simply isn't capable of bargaining.
Bez,
What I meant was usual for that club, ie if you went there and asked one of the girls to leave with you, if the quoted rate is their standard response, if it was this particular girl, or me, or what they may be negotiated down to...
...although I was tempted!!
Cheers,
