Only Bogota, Cali, Barranquilla, Santa Marta, and Cartagena. Colombianas are very affectionate, but I myself am not a PDA kind of guy. I routinely stay in the houses of some of my Colombianas. My ex-girlfriend's parents in Cali used to always insist I stay at their house. Her or her mom would make 3 meals / day and they never wanted anything from me. You don't see all those requests for money / sick grandmother stories in Colombia as you see in DR. Colombianas and Brasileiras alike have pride and would never ask you for anything unless they are hookers. There is none of that you are a man you are supposed to help poor little me (read give me money or gifts). See Mardonius's report below.

My guess didn't need to show ID to anyone or any of that stuff. I didn't need snacks because I had a fridge full of food and chicas coming over to cook before we hit my private jacuzzi on my balcony. Also, these apartments came with WIFI included and a cell phone to make and receive local calls.

MDE is not on the coast so you would probably stay in a coastal city if you want the beach or take a hopper over to San Andres or maybe hit Islas del Rosario or Tierra Bomba.

There are nice apartments in Santo Domingo with views of the Caribbean Sea, guys I know on this site, have seen a nice apartment on the Malecon, one block over from Pure disco.

In fact, one of the best things about it was not seeing Americans. I was in Santiago de Cuba and always felt like a novelty there. You are correct, it is nice to have an apartment, invite women over, they will cook and clean, can have a great time.

The first time I have smoked marijuana in over 20 years was in that apartment on the Malecon.
