Thanks R99. The needle continues to inch up. Few weeks ago I was getting 45.00 to 45.05 in Cebu and also the province. When I returned to Makati, in the Burgos area the places were quoting 44.80-44.95; and then in Malate it was 44.90-45.00 (just one place had 45, the rest were just a hair below 45.00).
I've never been interested in forex before although I did interview for a trading job out of school. Looking back, the job seemed a little Boiler roomish and I ended up getting a normal job instead. I did look at the dollar vs PHP charts and holy heck, in the mid-2000's. The rate was bonkers. I can't imagine what it would be like if the rate climbed up to the mid-50's range.
The dollar has been getting stronger (haven't cared enough to research why). To do a fair comparison, it's good just to google "dollar vs philippine peso". You'll get the current spot rate and you'll be able to compare vs the store's rate.
Guess this is the place to go now. I presume all the locations have the same rate going right?
PC out.
My general rule is not to assume anything in PH. Common sense would say they are the same for all branches, but *shrug* - it's the Philippines.
Thank you okay here we go then!
I live in Las Vegas, I plan on visiting the Phillipines or Thailand, which would would you guys recommend and why? How much should I be saving up for the flight / fun? I'd love to stay for a week or two? What do you guys think is best longer or shorter time? I don't really drink but I'd love to be able to see a girl every day I'm there. How much do girls generally run to see in Philippines / Bangkok? Do you guys strictly pick up girls who are working or do you pull civilians?
Thanks guys.
I am going to make a judgement call and read between the lines. Seems like you don't have a lot of travel sense, so I would recommend Thailand. If the comparison is Bangkok vs Manila and Pattaya vs Angeles, Thailand has a leg up on being a bit more user friendly and modern.
I am not going to comment on how much you need to save since it should be obvious that there is a range of prices for airlines / hotels which is readily available on the internet. I would budget $50-$200 / day for the girls depending on your taste level.
After an absence of about 6 weeks, the GF and I went to our favourite pinoy bar.
SNIP
Where we were sitting, at the front corner of the stage, we were also looking into the dressing room. The door was always open. Interestingly, when many of the girls finished their routines still dressed, as soon as they got into the dressing room, they stripped off and ran around in the buff.
At about 1 am, I went to the CR, which is on a slightly higher level. And when I came out, I looked around the room. The place was packed, Waiters were scrounging around for every chair that they could find. I estimated about 70 customers pouring beers down their throats. Almost all of the girls were with customers pulling LD's. Bustling around, women walking around the room naked, the place was a real money machine.
Just amazing.
Davao? Makati / Burgos? AC? What bar? You gave me a stiffie with that FR.

Can anyone tell me how to get the bus from Manila to Angeles? Thanks in advance.

Boracay or El Nido
Guys,
In Manila for 7-8 days and then I would like to take a side trip too one of these 2 places. Cost isn't really a factor but I may want to take 1 or 2 ladies with me. Which is the better place to go or if I go alone which place has the better girl option there. It would be very nice to lay on the beach and get laid all day lone too. LOL.
Any comments and suggestions are appreciated.
PC out.

Thanks
Before Westy kicks your ass (or worse): you've just found it (obviously). Just read the threads, that's what a forum like this is for: reading. Not asking questions right away.

Bus Travel
Can anyone tell me how to get the bus from Manila to Angeles? Thanks in advance.
I'm not sure if you are asking this question as a joke or what? There is a whole thread here on how to get to AC from Manila by bus and by car.
Since you might be 'Manager Class', getting a car from your Manila hotel straight to your AC hotel might be the best option at between 2,500 - 3000 PHP.

Some of us who read this forum daily shake our heads and wonder that if some of these guys ever do make their way to the Philippines they will get eaten alive by girls, touts and assorted thugs. As my old Mum would say: "he shouldn't be let out on his own".
That said, Don my good fellow: check out http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showthread.php?3655-What-is-the-best-way-to-travel-to-Angeles-City-from-Manila-(NAIA) -airport. I am sure you can guess your way around the additional information needed to get there from your hotel if not NAIA.
Davao? Makati / Burgos? AC? What bar? At G = sounds like you and GF1 are having a great time and getting settled in. Thanks for the report and look forward to seeing you when I get back.

Thanks
Looking at the 5 FRs appears you maybe an Aussie. If so this is embarrassing for Aussies that you ask such a question on a board like this. Not sure if RK and others would be proud to say they are Aussie to after this type of FR would question the IQ of Aussies LOL.
Why not try Google? Always a good start.

Thanks
I'm rereading a book called "America's Boy," written by an author named Hamilton. It offers perhaps the best, most profound, explanation of Philippine culture I've ever read, and sets cultural habits and characteristics into a rich historical context. I think if you read that, you will not more about this place than 90% of those who contribute to this board. This latter comment isn't meant to disparage anyone, but the book contains so much rich socio-cultural information, and is so well researched, that it casual visitors here would be unlikely to randomly discover such information themselves. I find myself going back to read entire passages that establish contexts for behaviors that I've never been able to understand before.
