I felt very sad for the people of Luzon with their cultivated fields on the east side of the island taken over by the ocean.

However, this problem is not the focus of this forum, and not worth losing your cool over.

In and amongst the various handbags that are going on between the seniors (Freebie staying out of it. Wow. Thats rare!) just wanted to make a post about my forthcoming trip. Will be my last Manila trip this year as I'm moving to a place some distance (5 +hours) from Manila and suspect that future trips will be supervised. Well I've had about 5 years of unsupervised trips so I got quite lucky.

Anyways the agenda thus far arranged is that sat am will be 5 hours of pleasure with the 18 year old who gave me her cherry. And as luck would have it, one fine senior member here also arranged a female photographer so I will have some "material" to enjoy when I'm far away from Manila.

She will be followed by a 38 kg cutie who needs some loving. She's a regular and her house flooded etc. Very down and a night with Freebie will do her good. And probably me lots of good. Thought about doing 3 in a day as in previous trips but its just too tiring.

Sunday morning will be a repeat cutie from Alabang who is up for a video in the shower. The cams going to be working overtime.

I was surprised to be offered free transport from Clark to Manila courtesy of Resort World Casino opposite NAIA. Just fill in a form and get a temporary membership card.

I stayed in Makati and the weather was just fine. In fact the air and streets were cleaner after the storms. Didn't see any signs of floods and storms except for the empty giant biilboards along NLEX. Maybe they were torn and blown by the storms.

According to weather reports Tropical Storm 'Helen' has already left the Philippines and there is any signs of storms, at least for the next few days. Currently I am in AC and there are light to moderate intermittent rain throughout the day. In fact the Manila weather was better than the weather here.

How about a ground zero report fellas?[/QUOTE]Those who live there have more current information than I do, but as of Wednesday, when I arrive, through Firday morning, when I left, traffice was a bit worse than usual because of the constant drizzle but everything was reasonably normal. I made it from the airport to the New World in Makati in about 25 minutes. I stayed within the Makati. Ortigas area and the streets in these sections weren't flooded. I can't comment on Malate.

I have stayed in Las Pinas a couple of times, and I have neveer seen, or been referred to, any form of P4P venue. I guess they are there, but I have to assume that they are locals only, and pretty seedy.

MANILA, Philippines – Tropical storm "Igme" has intensified further as it remains stationary, the weather bureau said on Monday. As of 4 a. M, PAGASA said Igme was located 300 kilometers east southeast of Aparri, Cagayan.

From a previous wind strength of 75 kilometers per hour, Igme is now packing maximum sustained winds of 85 kph near the center with gustiness of up to 100 kph. Storm warning signal number 1 remains hoisted over Isabela and Cagayan.

PAGASA forecaster Bernie de Leon said the storm is expected to stay within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) for 2 to 4 more days if it maintains it slow northward movement. De Leon said Igme continues to intensify the southwest monsoon (habagat) , bringing rains over the western section of Luzon and Visayas.

He said the western section of northern Luzon which includes Benguet, Baguio, Pangasinan, La Union, Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte are at risk for possible landslide and flashfloods. PAGASA said estimated rainfall amount from Igme ranges from 5 to 15 millimeters per hour (moderate. Heavy) within its 500-km diameter.

As I said before, its a Typhoon season in the PH till September, so anything can happen. Even though the storm could pass over north luzon and even change direction and not directly hit Manila at all. We could see more rain in the coming days, Plus if we calculate the risk. Is it worth it? Landing in Manila Airport, one of the worst in the world, in the middle of torrential rain and storm. Few drops in the landing strip and they will cancel all inbound and outbound flights, so even BKK bound flights will be canceled.

I would hate to say, don't come and not trying to scare you. But if possible change your plans to Cebu, relatively flood, storm free now a days and you could get the same fun as in Malate not quite like A / see but still Cebu has loads and loads of fun. More bars and freelancers in Cebu than malate by a wide margin now a days. For more info on cebu. Ask regular members in Cebu section. Good luck
