I have never been in Tijuana for the 4th of July. I was down yesterday and it looks like the bars are planning on Americans showing up to celebrate. A few of the bars were decorated with baloons, American flags and Uncle Sam hats. If you are going have fun.

I told them that a friend had moved there and that I wanted Global Entry on my passport because at the time the closest place to interview for that was LA. I cross back from Mexicali and the lines should only take 45 minutes but take close to 2 hours. I have said the same thing to the agents and they give me the same response.
