As some predicted, new registration laws has forced some ex-FKK wgs to retire early. Over the weekend, I paid a WG 250 to meet me at my hotel. Counting her commute, her time plus labor was about 4 hours. So comes out to 62.50 EUR per hour.

The big spenders and overnighter out there should definitely be able to achieve a much lower hourly rate than me!

To clarify, I only know of [B]one[/B] WG who has declared herself "retired". It was not a surprise to me, because she has consistently stated for about seven months that she would quit as soon as registration went effect. She made up her mind a long time ago and never wavered.

But anectdotally, while speaking with other mongers, they all seemed to know of one regular who was considering retirement. Most of those WGs were "undecided" or adopting a "wait and see" approach. I assume that means, worse case scenario, the WG would take an extended six month vacation back in RO before making a final decision.

I remain optimistic that the percentage of WGs retiring due to the new registration laws will be small. Hopefully no more than 5-10% reduction. A lot of WGs come from troubled backgrounds anyway, so they may not be overly concerned with their privacy. Or the lure of the money is too great for them. They probably make 10 times what they could make back home. If taxes eat into their profits, maybe that becomes a multiplier of 7. Still hard to resist.

Its only second week of January. Still to early to tell one way or another. But it is promising that many WGs were reported to already be back at work. ACA LU looked normal for a Saturday. Netherlands club, YY iooked normal for Sunday. At least no mass exodus of "refugee" WGs trying to flee Germany that I noticed.

Well I've been in this game for about 15 years on and off and have received good and bad and indifferent service, but have never been robbed as such.
