the girl i like (dao) was absent from star of light so i decided to try mike's bar, the close by alternative "bj bar" venue, just down the road next to the foodland supermarket, which doesn't get reviewed much here. well, the place was totally empty from customers, it's the usual dark bar with pool table etc and some small rooms with a tiny bed on the side; there was at least one very cute and young girl there, but she got taken by a guy who just walked in while i was ordering my beer and being "massaged" rather annoyingly by the other girls. have to be quicker next time!

there were about 6-7 girls, two cuties. so i took the remaining less cute girl (a 7 with ok tits) and she took me to the room, cleaned me with a freezing napkin (not very pleasant!) did a fair but not great bbbj (i'd say 6 /10 with the benchmark being sol (and my current thai geek girl!), [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord900][CodeWord900][/url] being a 7.8), following my directions with little enthusiasm (very little ball licking, no rimming, too much hand), and suggesting boom boom several times for an extra 800baht. can't remember the price for bj, but i think the same as sol, so 700.

i took a while to finish as she wasn't great, and the climax was. a let down as she took very little in her mouth.

i left rather quickly, and she seemed disappointed. won't go again, except to check out if the cuter girl is still there. the fact that they have little rooms is a good point i suppose.

For those with Happy/Dtac Sim cards, you can extend your sim's validity by 6 months by calling *1013
You can do this twice which gives you one year
Then every time you top up, you get more validity added to the end of that

Last time I was in BKK my sim card had expired by about 1 month, so I stopped at the DTAC counter in the airport to see if there was anything they could do and they reactivated my number at no charge. All I had to do was put 100 baht on the phone. I don't know how long it takes for them to recycle a number, but if you have a sim that has expired fairly recently it might be worth a shot to see if it can be reactivated.

I was talking about RCA. These are not after hours clubs. It's where the youth of Bangkok goes to party. Regular clubs and discos. If you're much over 35, certainly 40 you will stand out like a sore thumb and basically wind up sucking on it yourself all night long.

The standard around Asia standard varies so much. My China sim was valid for over a year with no use, I think in Jakarta its 2 or 3 months. HK was 6 months, Philippines is also now 6 months.

I'm looking for a 1 bedroom apartment between Soi 4 and Soi 24 for less than 20,000 baht a month.

Any recommendation?

Of the number of people who buy these cards, the percentage who are tourists is probably a small fraction of 1%. It doen't really make sense that they would set it up that way specifically to sting tourists. THey're after baht. I don't think they care what the nationality was of the person previously holding the cash.

I didn't check out any of the places above. Last time in BKK I found the Soi 11 club scene preposterously overpriced, so I avoided it this time around. I went to Glow last year, and it was full of old guys and not that many not particularly attractive girls.
There was one girl going to Climax though (apparently that's the spelling?) that I chatted up on soi 7 that was smoking... outstanding.

I can only imagine her opening price would be along Russian lines - basically 100USD or more for short time. No thanks.

There are some younger farang males at RCA, but yes, it's a normal disco scene, no hookers there. So if you can't get them without your wallet, you're not going to get them.

I searched the threads but didn't find the answer I was looking for. How easy is it to barfine a bg that I really like for a period of one week or longer? Also I live in Japan is it possible for me to barfine her or negotiate for her to stay with me for up to 3 months? Maybe someone has some experience with this?

Assuming she can get a passport and visa. Just wondering because from my experience in PI its mainly an issue of paying the right price and getting all of her documents for passport and visa.

Not always the case, if you top off with B$300, my card is extended for one year. I've pretty much stopped using the same prepaid account for obvious reasons so things might have changed in the past year. Prior to 2009, in other countries, it varies with network provider but some examples:

Vietnam - the worse, few months max
China - up to one year
HK - up to one year
Singapore - up to one year
Indonesia - 3-6 months

Maybe somebody can provide more up-to-date information.

I'm kind of fascinated by tourist paranoia. Amazing these guys even keep coming to Thailand, feeling targeted by anti-farang conspiracies every minute of every day.

This is pretty funny. So basically if you bargain hard to get them down to 1500, then you end up paying 300 more anyway for the ST room... (and I wonder if they get a cut of that??? no idea, just speculating) So the best you can hope to get them down is really to 1800, and if you do, you're in a damn ST room rather than your own hotel room. Might as well pay the 2000 and have them in your hotel. You also save the work and annoyance of the bargaining.
