There are many disco near Mecure in Kota the Golden Crown, Millie and the Colosseum disco all cater for the young local mos tof the girl here speak little English ST rate is 600 k to 1500 k all night depend on the girl, if you go to BAT and CJ girl here speak English older girl they ask for more, I also pick up girl at the mall but you need to speak some Bahasa it is a hit and miss if you are here for 5 days don't waste time just go to hotel travel and classic.

I think there is only one guy in the history of this forum who has posted that he took girls from there (Pete33). He did find a few very nice ones, but I would not recommend that as a pickup spot. As far as malls, you can possibly pick up girls at any mall in town (or McDonald's or KFC, or wherever). Blok M Plaza is not a special pickup spot. I remember Bulai used to frequently post about his conquests picking up girls at Plaza Indonesia. There's a guy working at the American embassy who hangs out in Plaza Indonesia passing out his business cards with a 100,000 rupiah note around it asking them to call him if they would like to go to dinner some time. (I know this because the girl I was with there one time told me he just gave her that card. We then watched him give out cards to other girls as well. LOL) So any mall can be a hunting ground. Pasaraya used to have a little bar where the girls would go looking for short time action in the afternoon, but that bar closed years ago. Atrium mall is the famous mall for picking up girls looking for action. There used to be frequent posts about that mall on this forum. I haven't seen one post in years though. I stayed too far south to make it worth my while to go there. That mall was mainly frequented by Arabs looking for free lancers, but it's not limited to only Arabs. And the girls who went there are well aware that it was a pickup spot. I think I read that the police were cracking down on that at that mall, but I have no verification of that.

Did not see single women on the prowl looking for bules (foreigners). I would think the best day time action would be at the entertainment complexes with spas in them such as Alexis Hotel, Sun City Spa, Malioboro, etc. Also, definitley do not miss Bats on Friday or Saturday night and X2 as in my opinion these places had the best looking girls. I was able to pull a beautiful young 25 year old FL out of Bats for 1 milllion rupah all night long.

[/QUOTE]Smoothy you pointed out rightly. I had read Pete33's post almost a year back and it felt so easy to pick up girls in Blok M plasa and take them to his fav WIN hotel. This had stayed in my mind hence my initial plan was to book 2 nights at WIN Hotel and explore Blok M plasa in daytime and bars at night.

However after going through the suggestions provided by all of you I have decided to stay in Kota for entire duration and stick to places with options.

Am surely going to miss the weekend nights in Disco but pretty confident that this will not be my only visit and is aimed to be more of recon. I have travelled to LOS 3 times since October and am scheduled to revisit in First week of April. I desperately needed a break as routine is getting pretty monotonous and I like change of scenery often. This is the main purpose of visit to Philippines and Indonesia. Enough Viet girls in Singapore hence have avoided trip to their native so far but I might visit Cambodia later in the year though.

Once I visit LOS again in April I would be travelling to Philippines & Indonesia in May after which I will be on a break for 2 months. Then LOS again in August. The way my current itinerary is I can not see myself visiting Cambodia before Oct / Nov this year.

I sure will try to get in touch with Knight 1001 before I land there. Experience from seniors who have spent time on ground is always welcome and not easily available.

[/QUOTE]There was something distinctly odd about Pete33's conquests at Blok M Plaza, he was asked about it twice in the forum to enlighten us as to his astonishing strike rate (he would literally walk in on a midweek afternoon and 15 minutes later he was humping some fresh kampung chick back at Wins). He made no reply and I noticed we haven't been hearing much about Blok M Plaza since.

If you hang around in the early evening there is a possibility, maybe, you might see girls who are shopping there (although it's more likely they'll be in the more down market Blok M Mall, or in the bus terminal arcade) before heading to work in Falatehan, but if you sit in Falatehan you'll meet them anyway and can enjoy a cold drink while waiting for them rather than wandering gormlessly around the mall looking like an obvious monger.

Just to confirm then and to avoid anyone else being confused, perhaps Pete33 had an astonishing ability to score chicks in Blok M Plaza, and he just is an amazing silver-tongued dashing chap who can sweep mid-afternoon shoppers off their feet, maybe, however I am inclined to believe he was getting them from somewhere else and for reasons best known to himself pretended he was picking them up in Blok M Plaza.

If Smoothy hasn't managed it and I haven't, and we've got a combined third of a century between us in stalking cewek in Blok M, then I doubt anyone else is going to do substantially better.

I am going to go wiith experiences of members who are still around and visit places with lot of options rather than shoot in the dark. With no bahasa capability and zero on ground experience I would only be setting myself up for disappointment.
