If you want some advice on your business, here it it is.

It's not about price necessarily. A high price for a good service, and honest pimp / middle-man / girl can be worthwhile. What you are running is a scam. Raising prices at the last minute, using fake photos, charging double than Korean price, posting hundreds of fake reviews. A high price has to be justified.

Most mongerers don't even pay 250 k for one hour of service. In reality they're paying 250 k for 10-30 mins of sexual activity, maybe at tops 40 mins. Plus the 20-40 k they dish out for the motel room. That is almost 300 k won just to bust one nut!

At this point I asked for and received a couple of other photos. I also confirmed that foreigners are accepted. I can read and write Korean a lot better than I speak, so I didn't want it to be a surprise when I showed up and sounded like a doofus.

Then things got interesting. She asked what time I wanted to make an appointment. I told her and she said that in order to make an appointment, I needed to transfer 100,000 KRW to an account as a deposit. The other 50,000 KRW would be payable in cash at the appointment. Bank transfer is the norm here for moving money, so that method isn't weird, but I got a little nervous about my personal details being attached to this payment and told her as much. I said I would prefer to pay it all in cash and she said the deposit is necessary to make the appointment and that she would send me the shop location after receiving the transfer.

Has anyone encountered anything like this before? I'm not so much worried about risking the 100,000 KRW on a scam as I am on it potentially being LE.

It's an old-time scam that burned many foreigners and Koreans alike a few years ago (2012-13). I'm surprised it's still going on.

Never transfer money to a pimp or indie in advance. If and when you get scammed, you won't exactly be able to report it to police.

If you want to check how real this "girl" is, offer her an extra 50 k to meet in person, where you'll pay everything in full and in cash.
