I am recieving pm for pimps in sg. We should know functioning of sg first. As you enter there, pimp will follow you till girl's room and be present till final deal. That advice of your is very dangerous one to the newcomers.
The pimps may be scoundrels and they put up a sham bargaining ruse in front the girls, all the while striving to get you settle for the highest price so that they get a good commission (30% or 25% . Whatever).
Having said that they also ensure that you are escorted safely out of Sonagachhi area, shield you from local goons and cops.
What do you have to lose if a pimp follows you?

I totally agree with this.
As a new comer one must not take any chance until and unless you are completely familiar with the lay of the land.
What's the harm in taking a pimp?
Just in an attempt to save 1000-1200 bucks, you can lose a lot more if the local goons catch you.
They might rob you of your expensive cell phones, force you to take out money from your debit / credit cards etc.
Anything can happen, they might even hurt you.
So take a pimp in the initial days.

Seeing lots of discussion about going with pimps or without pimps.
The moment you step your foot in a pimp will follow you all the way till the girls room (unless you already have a set pimp).
My advice is if you are new enter through the Masjid Bari entrance. There will be tons of pimps. Just pick one and start your tour. NL / PremBandhan /#12/ Kanchan Palace are all in that vicinity. I have found the masjid bari entrance the safest as there are no locals forcing you for donation's and the pimps are reliable.
Personally I prefer to enter from the Abinash Kabhiraj lane side but if you are new to the area the Masjid Bari Lane entrance is a safe bet.

Its a funny incidence happened with me I suppose 4 months back.
Was in mood to explore BKpal side through Masjid bari st.

SG is divided in two parts, broker buildings and non broker building (where broker are not allowed to take customers, customer need to enter alone).

So better take a pimp previously instead of roaming alone or with friends in SG streets if you are in mood for premium girls.

Now coming to the street gals and "non broker Bari's.
Rate will be 300/500 per shot, no broker, nothing, but no one knows what will happens inside the room.
