The END of the Crystal Mustang Ranch.
Hey Yanqui. Great find on that article!
(In sum and substance. This is my translation of the article from the original Spanish. Originally appeared in El Faro Digital, Tuesday May 29.)
The Crystal "Mustang style Ranch" was blocked from being developed any further. The closing of the new Crystal Complex was headed by the undersecretary of State of Tourism for the North zone, lawyer Bernardita Abbott de Finke, who emphasized the support offered by the Association of Hotels and Gilded Beach Proprietors, as well as of all the leaders and leaders of that community.
"We received several complaints from the community with respect to the construction of this project. It was a project that would not do anything towards elevating the quality of the tourist zone, in which it was built. Rather, it would do damage to this area, because it was a project directed to prostitution and it would work to denigrate the image of the Dominican woman", expalined Abbott de Finke. "It is sad that this situation was able to get as far as it did. Establishments like this one in the DR effectively distort the reality of our country. Projects like these are shameful and work against those of us who are trying to promote a atmosphere of professionalism for the Dominican people throughout the International community, and promote a positive atmosphere for tourism."
Oh well, so much for that. Lino isn't happy I'm sure. :(
cheers,

Some questions for veterans
I am fixed to go to Sosúa in August but I have some questions and pardon me if they might seem too trite
1. Are the girls in Sosúa all shaven down below? I know that Americans and many Europeans prefer shaven girls, and I respect that, but for those of us who like the more natural, unshaven kind, is there any hope to find one?
2. Some members report that the Dominican girls are not as careful about feminine hygiene as, for example, Thai girls are. Does that mean that DATY is highly dangerous in DR? (by that I mean herpes and other STDs)
3. Where can you find "quality" (i.e. good-looking) Haitian girls in Sosúa? In the street? In a particular bar? Are they nicer or more jaded than Dominican girls? Would it help if I learnt some Kreyol before I went?
Thank you for your kind information.
