Quito

Yeah, I'll hit up Doom in GYE over the summer (USA) when I make a trip down that way. Still trying to research the board. Need to find more detailed hotel info and lay of the land data. Once that's done, the mongering will be simple enough.

For instance, my hotel in Quito is one block from the Hilton Colon. It's a well-located, pretty basic, non-descript, boutique type of hotel. Costs me $25 USD/nite, $35 with a guest. That price includes hot water, heater, cable TV, breakfast and taxes. There's even a small bar/restaurant in the lobby. It's not a motel. Need to find one similar in GYE.

To be honest, thanks to your list, my 4-5 trips to Quito have been a direct result of your list. Perfectly designed for coming up with an on-the-go gameplan. Esp. since most of my trips there were weekend trips (Fri-Sun).

Be interested to hear how your Peru and Chile trips went. With Quito being the highest point (9200 ft) that I ever would want to fuck in, I could not imagine La Paz (approx. 12,000 ft). LOL!!! I know Lima pretty well and will be hitting that market up again very soon. Had plenty of fun there and relatively cheap. I've heard that Santiago, Chile gets pricey quickly, but there are local places to enjoy as well. Same with Vina del Mar and Valparaiso.

I think you broke your newbie monger cherry a long time ago, and through the experiences that you shared with us in Quito, you'd be veteran enough in any market. It translates across all borders.

Hey HH, it sounds like you are ib the Hotel Othello. I stayed there last year.
I thought it was a good deal and quite clean, but the only complaint I had was the street noise.

My room faced Amazonas, and there was a manhole cover that did not really fit very good, and every time a car would drive over it, it would make a loud "CLANK CLANK" noise. It didn't make a difference if it was a bus or a Toyota, it would make that noise.

When I return in August I am planning on staying in a quieter neighborhood near the embasies. I was quoted 55/night for a suite with kitchen , LR, etc. all taxes included.

Correct about the hotel. However, since I usually hit Nightcats til the wee hours of the morning, I'm generally numb to noise in the morning. I did stay in a 4th floor room during the president's inaugeration weekend. The noise didn't affect me, and I was sober as EVERYTHING was pretty much closed the night before. I guess your manhole cover issue has since been resolved. LOL!!!

I will say that you can ask for a room away from Amazonas. If it's available, they'll oblige.

Yeah, I probably should have changed it.

When I checked in I had a choice, but not thinking, I chose the room facing the front brcause it had a nice view of Amazonas. That was a mistake, but still not a bad place.

As for my "monger-cherry," well that's it then, I'll consider myself a pro/veteran from here on in.

Arrived in Quito last night. Previous posts had me convinced that if I stayed in Mariscal I had a good chance of getting a knife in my neck so I got out ¨The List¨, a map and a pencil. And went from there. Ended up at the Hotel Majestic. Paid the internet rate of $26. Found out when I got there that safety deposit box use and heat are extra. The place is pretty run down. I´ve stayed in worse. But not for 26 bucks. Lot´s of TV channels. None in English.

I arrived at night, dropped my bags and intended to go to the market I saw nearby to get waters, sodas, etc. Asked the desk guy if it was safe to walk there now. He said no. It´s two doors down. Oh well.

It was too late for most of the casas on the list, so I took a cab to Gringo Land and ended up at Vibracion. Kinda bleak. A few girls and nothing special. A few guys sitting around and a few even got up on the stage and danced. Didn´t really want to see that. And what is up with those seats? Do they want you to be uncomfortable? I´m 5´7¨ and my knees were up around my chest.

I was tired and anxious to pop my Quito cherry. So I grabbed up the first one who said hello. She asked for $50. I countered with $30 and we agreed on $40. She had an unpronouncable name and was from Manabi. Said she got married when she was fourteen. Didn´t ask her age but it was clear that was a while ago. But she didn´t look terrible and she was eager to please.

Overall ok but if there is any truth to ¨The List¨ I don´t see any point in going there except maybe convenience.

Upon further reflection I have to admit I have stayed at worse places for more money than The Majestic, especially in the US. And the staff has been helpful but a short walk around Mariscal showed me that there are plenty of better places in the $8 to $15 range. Can´t recommend it.

Checked out Cafe Rojo. $3.16 on the meter from Amazonas and Colon at about 2:30. Boys, I think you have got something here. Thanks for sharing. The cab dropped me on the other side of Amazonas and I found it easily with the directions given on the board. The place is laid back and clean. It´s hard to say how many chicas were working because they do a brisk business and they are constantly revolving. Maybe 8 in the room at any given time. I would say they ranged from doable to hot as hell. I noticed also that unlike other latin places I have been to, they don´t sit with the guys for long periods of time. They sit with them for a while and then either go to a room or back to their positions around the room. That´s great because apparently these guys sit there for hours.

I snatched up Andrea right away. What a honey. She´s twenty and I think from Esmeraldas. Who cares. Great body. Really seemed to enjoy her work. But she couldn´t possibly enjoyed it as much as I did. About as good of a GFE as one could expect in 20 minutes. I would have loved to DATY with this one, but like I said, they do a brisk business.

Back in the bar I had a seat for a while, sipped a coke, talked to guy about his job with the oil company in the jungle, took a couple of laps around the room and laid a twenty on Sophia.

Another winner. Older but attractive. Didn´t ask her age. Nice tits. One of the better cbbjs I´ve had. And again, at least looked like she was enjoying herself. I had a great time as well. She told me she would do toda la noche for $150. She said ¨muchas veces ok¨ But I have heard that before. Didn´t follow up. She asked me for a propina. Didn´t remember the guidelines on that. I gave her $5. And then felt bad because if she deserved it, Andrea did too.

I shall return.

The casas are the best deal in Quito. The ones I went to are clean and comfortable. Hung out for hours at a time. There's no need to pay $30-50 for sex in Quito. Although I should say that had I just paid for sex and not all the drinks that went along with the visit for a few hours, I could have come out very cheap. Instead, every day was fairly pricey. Too bad I didn't have coke available to drink :)

This is my first post so bear with me. I spent the first weekend of June in Quito and decided to head out for two nights. I am new to this activity with the exception of 515 which I visited twice a couple of years ago. After reading the posts here and Tungs famous map, I went out armed with info.

Friday afternoon I strolled past 270 La Nina because it was near where I was staying, and it was open for business but I had somewhere to be and could not stop. It has no sign, just a plain looking building. A thin chica at the top of the stairs inside confirmed the hours, 11:00-9:00 and made me promise that I would return.

That night (Friday) I went to Body. $7 entry fee Friday and Saturday instead of weekday $5. As soon as I entered and went to the bar, a very hot negrita from Cali Colombia approached. I was a little nervous so I didn’t look around too much, but what I saw was a few heavy girls at tables with some guys, so I took my Cali girl to a room and did BBBJ and a couple different positions with my own very thin American cover on. She was very good, lots of enthusiasm. She calls herself Tamara and has natural breasts and a very hot body with cute face and very dark skin. Just before the BBBJ she pointed out that I would have to tip her for that. I paid $20 for my 20-30 minutes with her, plus $5 tip (too much?).

Daytime Saturday I went to locate Cocktel Bar and The Office as I was planning to return that night and I like to see the neighborhood ahead of time. I discovered that Cocktel Baris closed and being renovated to become a karaoke place, no more chicas. An older man arranging construction debris confirmed this for me, crystal clear: No more chicas.

Around the corner, The Office looked interesting so I returned around midnight via taxi. Upon arrival, there was a pack of college-aged looking guys gathered outside the place waiting to enter. I didn’t even get out of the taxi because I didn’t feel like standing in line on the street at that hour so I had the driver take me to Night Cats across from the Marriott. I saw some very low end, unattractive older women lurking about outside as if they worked there, so we continued on to Body to look for Tamara.

At Body, I paid my $7 and descended the stairs to find almost nothing going on. An unattractive negrita was doing a show and the heavy women were paired up at the tables. No one approached me and I saw no one available, so I left. After inquiring about Tamara with the doorman, he told me that the police had done some kind of sweep and snatched up all of the Colombian girls. (I heard this a couple years earlier at 515, so maybe it’s true or maybe it’s their standard line when there are no girls).

Getting desperate, I returned to Night Cats and entered (sorry, I forget the cover charge amount). Inside, there were several 5s and a few decent girls, but they were all paired up or busy and despite me standing there looking like Mr. Gringo I got no attention and literally could not approach anyone. There were some Chinese guys sitting with girls, lots of smoke and loud music, and no real options.

At this point, almost 1:30 a.m. and getting tired, I gave in and went to 515. Although it’s an expensive place and very clean, it used to be kind of dated a couple of years ago, but as mentioned earlier by Friky00 in post 669 it has been remodeled and is now all brand new and very very nice. This is a high end place. I sat at the bar where there were about 10 girls standing around, all kind of pretty, maybe 6 - 8 each, and looking very pleasant and clean. There were far fewer guys, maybe 5 total, sitting around at the tables. I chatted with a couple of the girls, and it’s obvious that they have been told not to bother the customers and will quickly leave you alone if you politely tell them that you want to look around a little.

For whatever reason, perhaps because it was so late, I found none of them interesting and left after 20 minutes and $20. The manager, a tall grey-haired man with a sport coat was baffled and urged me to stay for the show, but I politely refused.

Here is the bizarre 515 pricing system: $20 cover charge to get in, which includes 2 drinks. If you hook up with a girl, you are forced to buy her 2 drinks also (prices vary), and the room costs another $21. On top of all of that, you pay the girl whatever you negotiate directly with her.

515 is a place to get the complete experience: You go chat with the girls in a very nice atmosphere, have some drinks, see the show, and then go up to do your business. I think for $100 or so it could be a nice night out if that’s what you’re looking for, but obviously it's pricey.

Upon entering the taxi outside of 515, I was startled by a chica in the front passenger seat who offered to do me for $40. She said she works at 515 but that there were few clients tonight. She was a little creepy looking, sort of like an El Vira Halloween look, so I said thanks but no thanks and went back to my hotel.

I'll be heading to Quito in late summer, and will be going to Brazil a couple of months later. The last time I got a Brazilian visa (in the US), they only gave me a 90 day one, and after paying the processing company's fee, and other nonsense, I spent $160.

I'm wondering if anyone has gotten one in Quito, and if they got the 5 year type of the 90 day. Any help would be appreciated!

the bus from mitad del mundo stops almost right in front of cheers (13). felt like a natural. i went through the door under the enormous sign and down the stairs. after i paid for my bottle of water, the waitress said something like, "you know this is a disco, right? " i said, "sure. you have women here? "

i went back out and the door with the n25-54 written on it was closed. i knocked, but no response. it was 4:00 pm. so with a quick stop off at my hotel to drop off the souvenirs for the folks back home i walked to la galeria 200(17).

the guy at the door charged me $3. he didn't look like someone i wanted to argue with. whoa. this is going to take some getting used to. it's fifteen to twenty guys sitting around in what was probably used to be the the living room and dining room of a home. mostly not talking. just sitting, drinking and smoking. there are 5 chicas that are all perfectly hideous. i sat there for a while and about the time i realized i was drinking coke from a glass that i didn't see poured, a real cutie appeared. i caught her eye for a second but she disappeared into a back room and didn't re-appear in the amount of time i was willing to stay.

then i went next door to club 122(18). i paid $2. 50 to get in. the place is packed and way more intense than the last one. there must be a hundred guys in here. and it looks like a rough crowd. this one has more rooms. i worked my way to one in the back that had a stage and a small bar. i was definitely sticking out here. i found a seat. but after a few minutes, i realized that if i needed to get out of there in a hurry, that would be impossible. so i went to a room nearer the door. the women were better looking here but they were all avoiding eye contact. one actually gave me the stink eye. maybe it's bad for business to go with a light haired, green-eyed guy. in order to approach one i would have had to spawn through this throng of shady looking characters. well i wasn't going to get comfortable here any time soon.

off i went to nameless bar (15) there was a security guard with a shotgun strapped across his back who asked for id. i wasn't prepared for that which was unfortunate because i hadn't noticed the five guys from the last casa who were now behind me in line. they saw me extract my us passport from my money belt. shit.

you walk through a hallway to a room in the back with a buzzer. got a coke with my $2 entry and watched him pour it. despite the shotgun, this place seemed more laid back than the last one. 3-4 chicas, none of whom i was interested in. once again, no eye contact. the guys from outside hadn't come in and i began to wonder, maybe irrationally, if they were waiting outside. so i uncapped my pepper spray (disguised as a large pen and hasn't come up in a frisk yet) and left. didn't see them but beat it to gringolandia as fast as i could. after a little hotel hunting, internet, and some dinner, i headed to akershuz 860(4). now this is more my speed. small place with a small stage and not really that many seats. only a couple of guys and three or four girls. one was to my liking. so i called her over before i sat down. after a little chit chat she asked me to buy her a drink. i said no. let's go upstairs. laid $20 on her and off we went. her name is poula. blonde hair, 24 years old, nice body huge fake tits. finally some relief. after some prolonged titty fucking and multiple positions i left in a much better mood. i asked her if it would be safe to walk to cocktel bar (3). she said yes. i didn't believe her. i went outside and asked the door guy. he said yes also. so i walked muy rapido up and over to the location. i walked from amazonas to 9 de octubre without seeing it and doubled back. i still wasn't seeing it. since it was after nine and i was the only thing moving on the block, i decided against consulting "the list" and my map under a street lamp or walkng back and forth another time. i see now from pato 1's post that it is closed.

i trotted back to amazonas and caught a cab to the body (2). i paid $3 dollars and it was saturday. maybe it had to do with the hour. it was only 9:30 and the place was completely empty. it's three or four times the size of akershuz. the bartender said it is very busy between 12 and 2. one chica came out and sat in a booth. i waited what felt like quite a while to see if any others would come. none did. i went over and chatted with her a little. she looked good enough but she was futzing with her cell phone the whole time. wasn't really feeling a connection. this place is probably worth checking out later at night.

took a cab to la fragata (12). there were four or five skanky looking women there. one skinny black chic i found attractive in a skanky kind of way. i snatched her up and we went upstairs. here you have to pay one dollar for two paper towels and a condom. i wonder what they would say if you brought your own. once in the room she immediately turned on the music and there was much naked dirty dancing and babbling about god knows what. it was enjoyable enough at the time but i regretted it later when she started tapping on her wrist to indicate time is running out. i got the impression that she was high. i also got the impression that anything goes with this one.

they had some guy with a car out front that they said was a taxi. there's no traffic on this street and it's quite dark so i decided to risk it. he wanted $3 dollars to go just a few blocks. i gave him $2. 25.

just a warning but getting any type of governmental work done here is a real pain in the ass. I've been here over a year and I'm still waiting on my work visa to be done. Unless you want to bribe someone then you can get it faster.

Hey all, been really busy with work related stuff so haven't had any time for mongering here. Last week though, I went to the Office to see if Tungs 3 hookers in training would be there since I was looking for some TLN. Showed up around 9pm on thursday and it was dead. There were 3 girls there, 2 chubby and one laying on a couch that looked so-so. Cover is $2 which included a small beer. It was just me for an hour. 2 of the girls got up on the stage and were practicing dancing (disco type not stripping) so I hung out for about an hour until one of the girls asked me to play pool with them. After getting home, all I can get out of her is a BBBJ, since she says she didnt bring any condoms. Nothing else, just some kissing. I'm pretty sure it was her time of the month and thats why. This is the second time I've run across a working girl thats on the rag yet still working.

I've found most foreign embassies to be easy to work with. Have you gotten a visa to enter Brazil (on a US passport) in Quito?
