If you want to go to Riviera in Casteldelfels, I stayed at the Apsis Events. 70 Euros, 4 star hotel with a great breakfast. Not close to the downtown areas though.

The location of Ibis Barcelona Meridiana Hotel is far from any mongering area (at least, to my knowledge).

In Spain most hotels are girl friendly. There are several hotels placed at walking distance from the area where "Top Damas", "Pub 240" and "New Aribau" are.

Just thought I would update with my experiences from my recent trip. This only relates to the street scene around C. St Ramon & Robador. I got there on Sat around 6pm. I was staying at the Hostal Opera, which is not girl friendly. The area was buzzing with activity. For the first time I noticed Chinese women there. I spoke to a few women, but decided to try and find a girl-friendly place after I found out that they are now charging 10 euros for the allleged half hour in the usual rooms the girls use. I also found that the Spanish women were still the cheapest generally. There was some sporadic police activity but not too bad. Anyway, some of the ladies knew hotels in the area that were girl friendly. I asked around and there was some availability but not less than 70 euros inc tax as a double was required.

As my flight on Mon was in the evening and I would only have my room until 11am, I decided it might be best to get a girl-friendly room on the Mon. That way I had somewhere right until my departure and could have as many women as I wanted. So, I didn't really dabble in the scene on Sat or Sun. On Mon I checked into the Barcelona-Ramblas Hostal (cnr Nou de la Ramblas & Sant Ramon). This is practically right by the square which is part of the RLD. The main downside is that the lift is only on the 1st floor but was not working. I wasn't able to check in till 12ish and the reckoned the lift would be fixed 'in an hour'. It was still not working at 4pm!

Anyway, there were a few women around but it didn't really kick off till after 2pm really. The general trend was that the Romanians generally didn't want to go to anywhere except the rip-off rooms. Women were generally more expensive than before. A fit Colombiana wanted 150 for anal!!! First off I decided to try this homeless, older type who was hanging around with a couple of guys. Just thought I would report my experience on San Ramon. At first this area seems a bit shady and the girls are pushy. What I did was take one walk through the gauntlet then make a decision and stand at the end of the street and call her over. She was Roxanna from Romania. Quoted 40 then 10 for the room. Of course, there are white girls in Barcelona's Apartments: from Eastern European Countries like Russia or Ukraine, and from Argentina, Brazil, and other South American Countries (their fathers/grandfathers are/were from european countries).
