I dealt with Apple and their prices same as USA and I suggest you to get in done in USA instead paying the same prices in Philippines. Also Pattaya has very good services. Thailand has very good dentists too. 4 weeks ago I was in Chiang Mai and I broke a cap and the lady dentist fixed on the fly.

I am planning on visiting Angeles city. Question do Filipinas in general have tight pussies. As do Chinese and Japanese women?

This subject was recently discussed and then went off on a tangent onto A380's etc.

The issue of poor standard local carriers has been mentioned a lot and the fact they want to compete with the big boys is always a source of amusement and wonder to some (me included) as their service standards are poor in comparison (as some have noted).

These articles in the Business Monitor put things into perspective and is a good read for those who want to read it. Flying a lot from the Middle East it says a lot as the UAE carriers clearly outshine the local boys and despite having a flight per day cut, they still are full every day and overbooked at times.

PAL and CP offer better pricing but that is about it IMHO.

And if the government bothered to invest and improve the airport infrastructure it would also help perception but pigs will fly first. A new airport as GE and other noted would be a good idea with up to date (not antiquated) equipment would help but again pigs will fly first IMHO.

As for the plan for an airport, while a lot of educated fellows recommend to develop Clark, and it's abundant space, the power house business families want to keep everything in Manila.

Nothing will change, not now, not in 10 years time, or 20 years time.

I had several days in Makati with playing 9-10 grade ladies. But it got too much and I had to take a little break. Since Palawan is a close place to Kota Kinabalu, I wanted to do do something different. My Kota Kinabalu trip was awesome with 4-5 star hotels ($100/ daily average). Very rich seafood selection with ultra cheap prices, also great islands to visit. My 4 days trip was so fun, I wish I took a girl with me to. I had some chances there but I did not want to pursue. After all I was there to enjoy rather than chasing a tail. 2 days I spent in Brunei. It is a waste of time but a Filipina restaurant manager (30 yrs old Cavite girl), gave me some fun. I seriously recommend you to consider Kota Kinabalu for an alternative location.

Of four flights, one was cancelled, two were delayed by several hours, wheelchair assistance failed to turn up at Bahrain, and each aircraft had broken seats and IFE in 1st class.

The UAE has way to much influence over the local families who went running to PNoy to complain last time. Plus many OFWs in the UAE send back millions / billions of pesos each year so the UAE could stop that by not letting visas be renewed. They view OFWs as necessary evils to do work their people won't do and can simply use other nationalities. Saudi has banned Thais for decades over an incident in BKK so the power is not with the local boys IMHO. They follow, they compete or they slowly die on those routes.

Airport p I and many others would agree. Clark is not ideal until someone builds a high speed rail link to the capital, that will never happen as the politicians will never agree how to grab their pocketful of cash etc (and even if they do it will take years to build).

Filipinos are getting hired in Middle East due to their English language. They are very easy to communicate with all type of nationalities. Domestic helpers also do teach English to members of the families. Thai workers can not promptly communicate with the others due to their low English skills.

I know as I have to deal with a few and they are truly hopeless at decision making. Filipinos were the same at times in the region but their English was better and would follow through on things.

But the UAE, the region is fickle and things can change if they perceive that PAL etc don't play the game the UAE wants as it perceives it has the power as sees Filipinos as TCNs (third country nationals) only. Have seen it happen before and it will happen again IMHO.

The local carriers face many obstacles also which are not in their control as well but bleating to the President when things don't go their way seems to be something a few powerful families do here.

Indonesians, Bangladeshis, Sri Lankans were much cheaper than Filipino employess but we preferred Filipinos due to their English and Western knowledge.
