I wanted to say thank you to all of you who provided me with public and private information. I spent a total of 13 days in Jakarta, and it now ranks as perhaps my favorite city in the word for hanging out and "playing" our wonderful hobby. Note, when I say city, I am not including pure "fuck dens" like pattaya and Angeles- those are places devoted to fucking, and are just different animals. I owe a trip report, and will get to it as soon as I crawl out of work madness in about a week or so.

I frequented discos in Kota- Mille's and Serra (darkest, literally, club in the universe); Travel and Malioboro, a soapy place also in Kota (will look up the name soon, but the alley down a few blocks from the Mercure), BATS and Cjs (The current band at BATS is fantastic, FYI), and met woman also through Indo Cupid in Jakarta and Bandung (both non pay for pussy). The diversity of the scene is fantastic! Long time freelancer from BATS, massage girls in the rooms (ALL hotels I stayed at had massage girls offering extras- Mercure, Millenium, and one in Bandung), Indo Cupid women who just wanted to hang and fuck, an MC at a cultural show (go dumb luck!), an extasy head from Mille's- I LOVE this place. Full legal age to have sex in Indonesia is 21. Under the age of 21, family of the minor can still start civil action against you for kidnapping.

Definition of a minor according to the child welfare act (hukum perlindungan anak) and civil code - "a person who has not reached the age of 21 and has not been married".

In the eyes of Indonesian Law, having sex with a girl younger than 21, is having sex with a minor.

So for full compliance, yes, check those KTP's.
