In terms of desire everything is ethical if you both agree to it. Went to Monte Carlo last night with some old friends and here is the situation. The place has the highest quality EVER. Not just the highest quality for MC, but the highest ever seen at a terma. Maybe this will bring some discussion, but that is my opinion and shared by several very long time patrons, Cairiocas who live just around the corner. And you have to remember that even with all the stunners at the top end termas, there was always the lower end of the spectrum there which brings the average down. So I am saying it was the highest in terms of the average talent in the place that I have ever seen. I didn't see ONE that I would have considered not doable for me and before, that number would be at least half. It just makes sense too. One of the girls I was with told me about 20 girls from Centaurus are now at MC. They are pissed off about it because at Centaurus 40 minutes would net them R400 but at MC, the net is R200. MEIA! She screamed at me. But the good news is, it had no effect on the quality of service. It was outstanding! So it is the natural response of the market. Lot's of talent around, unemployed, the management at MC takes advantage. I expect this to work its way down the food chain. I'll bet if I go to 22, the talent there will be over the top (for that place). So, in the short term, this is extremely good for the mongering population. We get the cream of the crop, if you will excuse the blatant pun.
However, in the long term it may not be so good. Here are a few items. The heat is still on. The girl told me the cops were back in the place Friday night which sort freaked them out. She also told me she thought it was not just a temporary crack down. She said there were serious problems at Centaurus including a lot of girls using a lot of drugs. Not just smoke, but cocaine as well. So that is another factor I had not heard but you have to give it some credibility and some thought. Another thing I stumbled on is that websites are down for MC, L an C. I haven't checked any others.
My second girlfriend of the night, which I had not planned on, but given the outstanding opportunities, I just could not resist, also told me there were problems there. She claimed she had left Centaurus 2 months ago because of all the craziness there and the high pressure atmosphere, she preferred MC for the relative tranquility. BTW, the first was just fantastic and the second, an absolute stunner by anyone's measure.
My Carioca friends are all pissed off too that they closed these places and they perceive a long term problem. One thing not mentioned here or in the press that I know of is that the last time Obama came to Rio, he stayed in the Marriott and there was an "incident" with his entourage similar to what happened in Colombia. Big surprise. But it was kept much quieter. So their reasoning is Obama, Rio +20, World Cup, Olympics, it all adds up. The powers in Rio don't want the world to view them as the capital of sin. They also state that they think L and C will NEVER reopen because criminal charges are being brought against the owners. And the heat is still on. As I said, my first girlfriend told me that the cops were in there on Friday night nosing around. The concessions made so far is that nobody is open on Sunday, girls are not supposed to be there before 6 PM (although I was there at 5 and I can tell you this was being strictly observed!) and the girls are wearing a little more. No bikinis. Other than that, business as usual.
So we benefit in the short term from immediate upgrades, but in the long term, if the business stays suppressed, it will all rebalance. In fact, the word is that some of the stunners went to Sao Paulo for better pickings. Another ray of hope, and this is just rumor at this point, not confirmed, is that Aeroporto, which recently closed and reopened as a gay terma, has now flipped again and is back to normal. I plan to do some research on this soon.
So, bottom line, I have never had a better night anywhere than last night in MC. I suggest you have a look for yourself if you can. As far as prices, I didn't look carefully, but it seemed the same. 2 cabinas at 40 minutes each, a number of drinks and the damage was R728. A lot of money for a lot of fun.
Got to go now as girl # 1 from last night is coming over to spend the day at the beach and other things.
