I'm looking to add a side trip to my upcoming visit, and can't decide whether to go to Cali or Bogota. Seems as if the big difference is climate- hot and sticky vs cold and damp. Anyone care to weigh in as to why one over the other? Some say the women are finer in Cali, others the opposite. I've never been to either, so I'm looking to my fellow Senior Members for advice-.

If I plan to have multiple guests, is it best to pay extra for 2 person occupancy, or to just pay as the guests come if the front desk sees them? I see hotels can be about $15 for a single person, but around $22 for double occupancy. That's like a third markup. Would it be better off to just pay it, or to get single occupancy and as guests arrive if they or we are stopped by security or front desk to pay then? I'm guessing if I pay for a second person upon booking, when I bring a person after that, I still will end up paying for another additional person?

I'd say Bogota is better because it has a dedicated red light district: Santa Fe. Plus most chicks cost around 10-15 USD yes the weather sucks in Bogota but in all it has everything a monger wants.
