I have changed my opinion of this place--on the 6th floor of the Melawai Hotel--based on some good recent experiences there. As background, about five years ago after hearing some people rave about it, I visited Maribaya and had a rather poor session there. And maybe a couple of years ago, I visited a couple of times, and left both times without a session given there were few girls and the ones there were not attractive.

Accordingly, I gave up on the place, at least until now.

On my most recent trip to Jakarta, I decided to give it another chance. On each of three visits, there were between maybe fifteen and twenty girls available, and while [I]on average[/I] they weren't stellar in looks, there were a few each time that met my standards. I ended up sessioning wtih Daella (sp?) the first time, and because she was unavailable the next time I chose Dewi. I then repeated with Dewi on my third visit. I can recommend both Daella and Dewi. GFE and no problem getting two shots. Although the price is perhaps a bit higher than it should be--600 K rupiah plus a small tip and no complementary (in fact, rather expensive) water--I will visit again. Sometimes I've seen people asking if there is anything going on near the airport during their layover. There is a spa in the "Orchardz Hotel" about a 10/15 minute drive from the airport.

1 hour massage is 250.000 IDR, price for FS depends on your negotiating skills but should be around 2/300.000 IDR. Nothing special but its clean, close to the airport and they get the job done.

First, thanks to all of you who answered all my stupid questions. Here is my attempt to pay back, a very small bit.

Let me lay it out. A few things first. I almost did not write this, as I am super, super busy. So, I am not going to do a lot (read, any) of editing, and it is scattered, and some of the descriptions and details are better in some sections than the other. Also, this is written with a certain audience in mind- the experienced monger but the newbie to Jakarta. I may come back and add more later, but at least I will answer questions. I know I should write about the various areas of the city and draw some distinctions for guidance, but not now.

As always, I like to start with the bottom line, my assessment: this is my favorite big city to monger in- period. Better than Lima, better than Medellin, better than Bangkok- a few of my favorites. Now, let me draw a distinction between big city mongering and places like Pattaya, Angeles or Sosua- those are places to fuck. At least for mongers. They are not cities, and the experience is very, very different. I love AC- it is my favorite place to monger, but it is a dump. A dump I love, but a dump.

Jakarta is a world class megalopolis. According to one study, it is the third largest urban area in the world with 27 million economically connected souls. It is vast. And perhaps more than any other mega city, its culture radiates throughout. When people say they can't find anything to do during the day- fault their imagination and spirit and not this great city. I can sit for hour listening to bands in Fatahillah Square. One day, there was punk band, a gamelan band, folks singers, performance artists, a clown of sorts, and tons of others performing all at the same time. I did not even touch the vast majority of the neighborhoods in my to total of ten days, and I was fascinated and enthralled.

Now, if you hate big cities with big city problems- stay the fuck away. The traffic can be mad, and you have to plan accordingly, but I had no problem doing so. Basically, I stayed in North Jakarta for half the trip and in Central the other, and build my experiences around those locations during the day. Late at night, not a big deal.

Also, if you want 24/7 pussy within a ten minute walk, 24 hours a day, and want everyone to speak English and cater to your every need- stay away. This not for you. This is adventurous mongering; but not in the sense that you have to work go get laid and have great experiences. Great experiences with amazing women are so everywhere- you just have to be open to a bit of a different vibe, and most people you will encounter outside of the big hotels will not speak English very well, if at all.

Let me get to what you really care about now- pussy, and then I will fill in some more of the details. Again, I may come back and give some more info later. Let me also say, Jakarta is one of the best places for food, street food and other, on the planet. I don't know about western food- I don't eat it at home.

Mongering venues / types.

Jakarta was an amazing place to monger! The variety of experiences or potential for experiences is immense. Freelancer bars, massage parlors that are really fuck joints, real massage parlors with plus plus (hand job, blow job, fuck), all inclusive spas (medium end and high end), a soapy or two, discos (with working girls and semi pros), street walkers, KTVs, in room massages that almost always offer more- I am sure I am missing some of the vast variety, it is off the hook. Ten days is not enough, and I missed a shit ton.

1) Ex pat hooker bars, high end. BATS, short for the Bar at the Shangri La Hotel- fucking loved that places. Spendy for drinks, so you have to nurse them, but it was a high end (ish) bar with a killer American funk band (for the next six months) and dozens and dozens of amazing women. I mean, each night I was there (three) I could have easily picked ten women. I'll talk about the women later- see one of my live stories for a description.

CJs- bar in the Gran Mulia hotel- similar, with a less wonderful band, and even a more upscale vibe.

Prices- short time $60-100, LT $80-140, depending on your negotiating skills. I went with the same girl (fucking off the hook GFE) twice. I asked her if she wanted to talk money or if she wanted to trust me- she opted for the later and got about 90 bucks- she was more than thrilled to go with me again, so that was not an issue. She was Javanese, and was wonderful. The second night she stayed until 4 pm. Dark skin, big be nearly see cup, very, very slender everywhere else with a touch of hip and ass- classic Indonesian body-perhaps my favorite body type on earth!

2) Blok M- I did not go, shame on me. Tons of expat bars on the south side of town, about 40 percent less than the bars price wise, according to what I read.

3) Travel hotel and other fuck MPs- 30 dollars for an hour. Travel hotel- the best line up I have just about ever seen. The place is a quasi massage parlor that really looks more like an old, "fancy" Cantonese style new year restaurant / entertainment center. The girls sit on coaches and you talk to them or not, pull one, and then off to fuck in a very solid, clean room. Lots of these places in North Jakarta. (see below).

4) Malioboro ALexis Hotel, and other other all encompassing men's entertainment complexes. I only went to two- Malioboro, and a lower level one. The nicest spa I have ever seen. Amazing talent. They also have karaoke, a disco, ect ect. At some of them you can get not only women, but Chinese, Uzbek, Viet, ect. Those are much more. An hour and a half fuck with an Indo chick at a very upscale place is about 80 bucks- this also includes all day at the spa- jacuzzi, sauna, ect. Drinks are not included, and non indo girls go for a lot more at some of the places. I did not spend enough time at these- they felt like they would be more fun with a wingman.

5) Kota trance discos- OMG. Jane and I, my Filipina non working girl who I flew out for my final weekend in Jakarta, went to the DARKEST club I have ever been in (as in, NO light). Siera- right near Lokasari. You literally have to sit there for about ten minute and let your eyes adjust so you don't hurt yourself. It is dank, dark, loud, amazingly crazy place with people of all ages. That is what shocked Jane, there were 16 and 60 year old there. We were the only non Indonesian, and I the only white guy.

Funny side note- everyone thought she was Indo, and when they rattled off Bahasa Indonesia to her she would become very flustered- I would then say that she was Filipaina. Everyone seemed to get a kick out of the 28 year old hottie and her 40 plus bule.

Another club- Milles' has hundreds of people, and dozens of hot girls, many not freelancers, but many would love to go home with a nice Bule (Westerner) in exchange for a bit of help, or NOT. Still, this is a place where you want to be young or young in spirit, with a bit of street smarts, or at least have been a lot of dance clubs. I have been going to this type of club for a long, long time, so fit right in. I look at lot younger than my age (I lie and say I am 35), and did not get a lot of looks. My third night (second night at the club) I took home a very, very high 20 something year old on ecstasy. Lots of passion, lots of sex, lots of incoherent Bahasa Indonesia rambling. I took her at 5 am and she left at dinner time. No money exchanged.

There are several other discos in Kota / North Jakarta that I did not go to, and would want to check out, in particular the Golden Crown.

4) Indo Cupid- Dating site- I met two women from it. A 45 year old MILF and a 27 year old in the other city I traveled to. I am going to keep those details out of the report just to make sure I don't shit where I eat- sorry to be vague.

Both cute but nothing great looking. But fucked me within two hours of meeting. Both good in bed and GFE. The 27 year old I saw twice- we bucked all night both nights. No money exchanged with either, but I did buy the younger one a pair of 30 dollar shoes at the mall. As they say, even free pussy costs.

5) In room massage- Even in the straight business hotel in my other city the massage girls would do whatever I wanted for the price. It even had a KTV with working girls. In all three of my hotels in Jakarta I got blow job happy endings from all, fucked one, and could have fucked all (but one). I had massage every day. Perhaps not as good as the best in Thailand, but very good.

6) Street walkers- Most of the one's in Lokasari Square are fucking ugly. I did find one that was very cute. The momason started off wanting 60 bucks. I laughed and started to walk- she spent three delightful hours for 30 bucks.

Lokasari, BTW, is an entertainment complex that is VERY late night and lower / lower middle class Indonesian only, for the most part.

6) Straight bars- I LOVE upscale bars in Jakarta. The women are so fuckign amazing looking, and everyone that I tried to engage was more than glad to talk to me. Mind you, don't dress like a fucking tool in trendy places here or anywhere in the world. I am not taking suit and tie, but try to dress with a bit of style so you can fit in, and spark the fantasy that you have money and might be a catch. I wore black jeans, a black slim dress shirt, black semi-dress shoes I always wear. Again, this is my style and do what you want, but if you're going to go to Lucy in the Sky and other clubs like that, you'll just look like an idiot of you're not dressed a bit hip.

On a night I knew I was going to BATS I went to several of the upscale bars and made a game of getting numbers from as many women as I could- it was fairly easy to make connections with women 20 years plus younger. I love this place.

7) I had two other freebies- one a mall pick up and the other the MC of a cultural performance- I will leave those off the trip report. That said, the point is that there is a lot of interest in Bule here if you have any game whatsoever. We have a nigh exotic factor here, and that especially holds true of you have blue or green eyes. Both were GFE. As with most here, great nipple lickers, solid kissers, average blow jobers but willing to take instruction and work on it- loved to fuck hard.

As mentioned, here are two "live" trip reports I wrote will there. Some details to give you a sense of what some of these places are like.

Hotel Travel (spa).

Picture a massive chinese restaurant from the 1920's that had live bands, say, San Francisco or New York City Chinatown. Keep the decor on the walls and ceiling. On one end, a live band is playing indonesian pop. But more relevant to the sick fucks who will read this, on the other end, sitting on 4 huge semi circle couches, are about 75 Indonesia girls who will give you a "massage" for 30 bucks. I am not sure if a massage has ever been given here; its a working girl house. Not only that, it is the working girl house with perhaps the best looking women that I have ever seen in a pay for pussy spot. At least ten were 9's, if not more. A ten is a nine with a great attitude, to me, so lets call them nines. A lot of spinners Indo style, which means very small waists with with some hip and ass, and sometimes be to see cup boobs, if not more. Amazing line up.

The drill is this; you come in and they give you a bracelet with a number on it. Everything you charge is charged to that, and with the exception of the girl, you pay at the end. My pineapple juice was two bucks and change.

The place seems to be run, or at least the floor is run, by momasons. The place was crowded, mostly Indonesia guys out on the town, listening to the music, talking to friends, or interviewing their potential one hour loves. I ask to be seated up front, and was taken to a table with with a couple of mommys on it. Immediately, they start the hard sell. I get my message across that I am chilling out, and that seems to really be just fine; its a place for hanging, but they will also try to sell you.

I find in places like this is good to see which ones are "choosing you" and then "choose from them. " This might be especially true here, as Bules are seemingly not that common (I am the only one for the hour I was sipping my juice on a Saturday night). I smile at ones looking in my direction, and most look away, with the exception of perhaps four or five. Mind you, this is from the couch I was nearest, so about 5 out of 15 seemed very friendly. The most friendly kept waving at me; mommy tells me she likes me. I tell mommy, who speaks barely passable English, that she like everyone. Mommy says, no, not true, she usually shy, no wave. My gut tells me mommy is being straight up. This is important here, as I have read that this place, while having some of the best eye candy, and especially for the price, in Jakarta, has many starfish.

Too late- someone calls her over. OMG, she is fucking off the charts sexy. Really not my body type, she is far more of a spinner than I care for, but a flawless face. Damn! Wait, she walks back to her seat. I tell mommy to bring her over, and with her red laser pointer (the place seems is like a light show of dancing red lasers) she beckons her to come to me. And now, before me, is one of the most beautiful women I have seen, and I am about to fuck her.

We sit for only five minutes- no pressure at all for ladies drinks. In fact, I try to buy her one, and her English is not understood. We go upstairs to the room through the door that says massage, up two flights of stairs, it looks like a medium and spa. The room that she escorts me into, is decant. A real bed and nice red lights- clean. The details: a nice fuck from an amazingly hot 20 year old into. GFE light- it took me a while to get her to kiss, but once she did, it was nice. Not for the conservative, point and shoot, I want a place with plenty of other white faces to validate my safety. Mille's is first and second a club for middle class (ish) Jakartans from the north of the city to take extasy and dance their assess off their local version of electronica and house. Mill's crowd is mostly twenties and thirties, if you don't feel comfortable or know how to blend in with a house music electronica crowd, you may not feel comfortable. If you have never been around a bunch of people on X, you may not feel comfortable. If you want point and shoot from girls who will most certainly speak English, you will not be comfortable. If going to Calle 6 in Costa Rica once during the day is the most adventurous you ever were?: stay the fuck away.

If you like to live outside of the box, if you love (or can tolerate) house music, if you don't need to know that every girl in the places in on the program, if you like to dance, if you just like a bit of a seedy, funky, new environment, that the little surprises of mongering are what get you going; this is a place you will love.

Day two, and I am in that liminal state of not being horney from a happy ending BJ job in my room and not being able to sleep. I will just chill out, I say to myself, wait for sleep to come, start a new.

Fuck it. 2:22 and I am out the door. My hotel gets me a metered cab to Lokarasi Square- cost under two bucks with the meter. Log that fact as you will get a sense of potential costs later if you get the cabs right in the place.

Melle's. First, let me say, I love it. Down a back street in Lokasari (will talk about another time). In front of the elevator, a couple of drug dealers ask if I need anything. Ecstasy is the flavor of the day- I mess with nothing outside the US (except for strange pussy, of course).

Out the elevator and to the hotel / disco- far nicer than I would have thought. Steep cover for her $12.50, which actually is a good thing as it means you had to have SOME resources to come in.

First, the place is dark. Dark dark dark dark- if you were interested in taking someone home, you would have to really make sure to get a good look in the light before you committed to action. And, it is clear that there are many "types" of girls here; those just with friends or boyfriends to hang out, girls that might be interested in picking someone up, girls that would certainly need help, and straight up hookers. How do I know this? Call it years of mongering wisdom (so valuable, LOL) and clubbing. Also, within 15 minutes the clear hos (or at least four of them) approached me asking offering me a cigarette, to share their drink, to dance, anything to make contact.

Now, here is the rub- out of those four, non spoke any English!! Two I would rate as 6's, one a 7, and was a 2. Overall talent? Outstanding. There are a few women here that look like models. And unlike other model looking asian women, these girls were built more like very fit, thin Columbians. Thats right Latina lovers, hips and asses. Don't worry guys who like "spinners" (I. E. Girls built like 12 year old boys) there were some spinner esq girls here.

Now, to the Indonesian face, since this will is an important part of the whole picture here- I find them amazing. I mean, like anywhere else, go into a poor neighborhood and you average girl is not a hottie- but here even less so, just like the Philippines. Yet, the best looking 30 percent or so, it seems, which is a higher percentage than the Philippines, are super fucking cute.

And it is a look. More checky, more mistiso looking. Of course, there is a lot of variety here, just as with the Philippines. Those who like more classic "doll" looking women will still far prefer Thailand, but will like this over the PI.

So, Milles- I dance for about two hours. I have no interest in picking up, but I am getting some attention from what looked like several types of girls, as described above. After a couple of hours on the floor and walking around, I am about to leave and meet, of all things, A Thai girl.

On the street, negotiate for with a taxi- just under $3. 50- it should not be that much really, as it is close, but I just got here and am playing hard ball or walking around much over a couple of bucks until I know the scene.

Psychman, you have balls to go to Sierra and Milles on your first trip. They aren't dangerous, but they are so dark and the people don't speak English. Kudos for being able to assimilate to that environment. Golden Crown is way nicer than either of those places and it's bigger. But for easy to pick up, down market girls, Milles is better than Golden Crown. Colosseum is the new hot spot for a "nice" big rave spot. You can find white women at Colosseum.

You paint a beautiful picture of Hotel Travel. I wish I thought the same of the place. Haha. I do agree that there are some very hot women there. But I hate the ambiance of the place (the local guys there poorly singing loud karaoke gets on my nerves), the rooms are not very nice, and although I've been there over 10 times, and I've always taken a very attractive girl, I've never had a good sexual experience there. Maybe because I can speak bahasa, I realize how truly non-charming the girls there are relative to the normal Indonesian girls. Great places to eat in the world- Jakarta is one of them. Indonesian food, and in truth, there are MANY, MANY Indonesian foods, is amazing.

And how you get it is up to you- from an amazing array of vegetables, tofu and tempeh you point to, if you have no bahasa Indonesia like me, what you want. The woman who is making your personal plate of Karadok fresh will put your choice of toppings on a banana leaf covered with a thin bed of rice. On top of your selection will be go an unfathomably yummy peanut sauce, and if you like it, hot Chile as hot as you want. Not into hot food, just say tidak pedas and not only will you be saved anus thobbing head, but they will be impressed with your langauge.

And this just one of 100 dishes I could write about, but it was a staple of mine, as it was ubiquitous, yummmy and veggie (I have given up eating all meat put the most pink variety).

The women.

I described the body type and looks some, but how about their personalities. Charming, is a great place to start. More reserved and perhaps less goofy than Pinay (and yes, these are totally generalizations), the women are lovely, WHEN you can communicate with them. At BATS and CJs you are likely to get a good deal of English, other places, not so much. Yet, this was not a huge hinderance when in the sack. Warm and GFE, perhaps a bit more shy with affection at first than Pinay, they are far warmer by nature than the Thais.

Given that this was a mixed work and play trip, I had a chance to spend some time with many educated women as well- wow, amazing people. Smart, humble, and far more knowledeable and wordily than either Pinay or Thai chicks. But unlike Pinay, far less likely to know about American culture.

In general, they seem like a lot that are forgiving of cultural mistakes- a massive contrast to Thais. My freebies were both fairly worldly and spoke good english. My 28 year old two nighter actually lived in Spain for two years- Spanish was our main language of communication.
