I have had this happen to me but they have always said Thank you.

The best place to take them is to a Thai BBQ as it is all you can eat so no problem.

Things really are not quite as terrible in the U.S. as they may seem: I just got back from a nice $80 quickie with one of my favorites here in San Diego - she looks like the cheerleader I never got to fuck in high school, and her body is 100% natural. I was going to say the same thing, only down side to it is sitting around waiting for them to finish eating.

To add to that, poor girls live on a budget so they make the most of a free meal.

Bit like a monger who isn't getting much action back home and trying to cram in as much pussy as possible into a two week holiday.

The opportunity to order expensive food is viewed as a treat for them. Just know that experienced P4P ladies are masters of extracting baht in various forms from their [i]customers.[/i]. They even gloat about it over [i]som tam[/i] with their girlfriends!

The longer you are in TH you'll become used to this behavior. Thai working ladies are much like, (and often are), spoiled teenagers, Give them an inch and they will take a mile. You either deal with it and not worry too much, or take control of the situation and lay down some rules.

After awhile, if you are in a "real" relationship, you will find that most Thai women are somewhat frugal and watch every baht. It then will work to your advantage as they know how to bargain and get much better prices than [i]farang[/i] in most circumstances.

Besides, if someone were taking me out to eat, (which almost never happens anymore except on a client's expense account), I always order a big steak!

Also depends where you take the girls. Many girls have not been to certain types of restaurants, but they heard about some food names from other working girls... so they order the same thing not knowing what it actually is. They eat a bite or two, don't like it, are too embarrassed / ashamed to admit this so they just leave the food and say they are full.

Then an hour later they want to borrow a few baht for some street noodle and are friggin happy.

There are a new breed of younger girls who "expect" everything, they expect to go to top restaurants and order too much food, they expect you to take them to Q bar or Bedsupper club or Silom for clubbing, and pay all their drinks, they expect you to pay for any girlfriends who tag along. These girls are worse than the working girls.

Today I had a new one lined up, but she wanted to bring 2 girlfriends on the meet and go clubbing all together. Told her sorry, if she wants to meet up then dinner is fine, if she expects me to pay for her friends for a night out clubbing she can FO (well, not those words but a sugar coated version).

Some farang are just soft touches and think they are "not paying for sex" by buying these girls lots of presents and paying for their nights out, and so the girls just work on the freebies they can get out of these "stupid farang" which is what they call these guys when talking with their friends.

Thanks for this tidbit. It was very valuable. I was so tired of having to get a new number every time I hit Thailand. When I bought the card this time I mentioned the *1013 to the attendant and she had no idea. She said that she always does it on the computer there at the desk. I did, however, forget to go to the desk on my way out of Thailand but I remembered the *1013 when I got in the plane. It was hard to make out what the recording was saying, but I ended up extending 180 days for a deduction of 12 baht. I think there were 60 and 90 day options for less money as well.

I somewhat expect this type of behavior from working girls. Extracting money from farang is their job. If I pay for the movies or a couple meals where she spends freely, then I basically just take it out of what I was going to pay her for her time.

What surprised me was when I got it from a real thai girl. One who wanted to be my girlfriend and fall in love and all that. Not only being very loose with the spending when I was paying the bills, but not even saying thank you. Granted, she was really keeping junior happy, but when a girl is very loose with my money then I definitely don't want her to stick around much longer.


I guess maybe if you're a farang, even many of the real thai girls will behave like bargirls towards you.

It's a great little trick. Remember you can do it more than once too.

Take them out to local Isaan restaurants (which if they are from Isaan they ought to really appreciate) or else other local places that I know that have excellent food and fair prices. If the girls are genuine, they appreciate the fact that a farang is in the know of good places to eat, if they are on the game and just want to use me for an expensive meal, they find out very very fast they won't be getting one. Same goes for clubbing. I don't frequent places like Q Bar or Bed. For what one can spend there on a date you could be home having a threesome with some wonderful obliging cuties.

I think that the name of the game is "don't be a pushover." I have known some girls in Thailand (and in some other SE Asian countries) who will have no respect for a guy who does not stand his ground. One non-professional told me that if a guy is like that, she would not want him anyway because if she can push him around and get him to do things like buy dinner for the village or whatever, that means that any girl can boss him around, even if he were in a long term relationship with the first girl.

Any girl who brings all the family or 10 friends on a date and you are expected to pay is either milking you or is really insecure/immature and/or wants to put others in her debt or gain face. I have heard of people having to pay for "friends" of the new girlfriend who were just the relatives of inlaws or neighbors or colleagues who were not close and definitely not real friends - just folks she wanted to impress.

Better to draw the line ahead of time, IMHO - if I suspect I will get a posse on a date, I try to deflect it by saying something about it beforehand. I don't mind one chaperon on the first or second date who is really a good friend of my date and who is there to provide a second opinion or security when your date does not know you very well. I have on occasion allowed two. But any more is not good. I once told a girl on the phone after I saw her in a group of 10 at the intended restaurant where we were to meet for a date (I immediately took off) that I thought I got the wrong night because I could see she was having a party with her friends. She never got the joke!

Start the way you intend to continue - you don't pay for people you have never met before or who you have not invited and make sure she knows that. Boot her out for any infringement at the beginning of your relationship. She will either crawl back and know the score or she would not be worth it anyway as you will be funding small armies or hungry "friends" and much much more for as long as the relationship lasts. In fact, a booting out is good near the beginning as it sets the tone that you are a psychologically strong guy. It is just sometimes it is hard to find a reason with some of them to boot them out!

That said, if you do find one who does not have a platoon of friends that need regular feeding and watering, you will have to be reasonably generous with her - most of them you pay on dates. Over time, you will either agree to marry her or your generosity will have to increase to keep her interested. Invariably she will eventually leave you if you don't marry her unless she is a real exception ( for example, a rich girl who does not want to get married) or you have signed over the house to her. This does not mean she is a bar girl. It is just the way it is in this part of Asia.

A girl coming from a rice farm will sometimes be bedazzeled. (spell?).

They have not learned the value of money and also have not expierence how to control what they now want.

I live in Philippines and go to Bangkok a lot.

I have met and dated and had girlfriends from different walks of life.

Mostly I tend to go for the real naughty ones that just happen to be on the lower economic scale. This is both pay for play and other girls I meet.

My attitude is that I pay all expenses. If they are good and I made an agreement to give them money for their time. Then I just think of it as helping them out and I do hope its a lways a girlfriend expierence.

I do not want to be cheap charlie but still I want to manage my money wisely.

If a girl is reckless. Careless and or thoughtless about spending money I do drop her real fast.

This is how I find the good ones. I let them demonstrate their behaviour.
