Hi members,

I have been a member for few months and a silent readers of the forum, Just observing and learning the do's and don'ts of mongering since I'm new to this. Trying to get my financial position stable so that I can jump in to the pool.

In the mean time I see main people write about the etiquette and FR but not about how they stay safe (Health wise, STD, gonorrheas) etc and do they go to checkups regularly after the session.

If any one can shed some light it will be helpful for the beginners like me especially.

I am watching closely for any symptoms and if anything develops, I plan to get myself checked and treated. I am not sure exactly what I need to do to get checked etc. But I will figure that out.

During my recent month long mongering stint in Chennai I had three experiences and I wrote FRs about them earlier. You can refer to them for details. Thanks to the forum members for helping out. Here is a summary and a few observations and hope it is helpful to others.

1) One mallu MP lady, one Tamil indie all night-er and one SP arranged Pro Bengali. I was satisfied with the variety and the overall experience was not bad.

2) Last Chennai stint I did one indie, so I fared better. It required a bit of planning and be in touch with a few people. It is more difficult than one can imagine given the other non-hobby activities that need to be interspersed. And sometimes things take time to setup and other times it is pretty quick. So one's schedule needs to be flexible.

3) I would like to have experienced Ammu, Meena, Chroma MP, ECR MP but for various reasons did not happen. They would have provided for more variety. May be next time!

4) The three encounters cost me 17 K. May be I overpaid a bit but not by much. While mongering in India is not uber expensive, Chennai is not super cheap either compared to other places, even some western locations. Mentioning it for those who may have other impressions.

Some observations.

1) While talking to a lady at an MP on ECR, she said she has to charge 2 K entry fee there given what LE demands!

2) Chennai Traffic police can be quite intrusive. At check posts, they randomly stop vehicles and question where they are going, what they have in the vehicle etc. I was a bit surprised. Just mentioning it in case it is useful and people have ready answers in case questioned. I witnessed this at the Sholinganallur Checkpost on ECR. In one case, it was just a son-in-law giving ride in his car to his mother-in-law after she finished work late (11:30 P. M).

3) Along the same lines, a few tidbits I gathered about outcalls in Chennai. Hotels generally allow a man and a woman to check in together if you are together and do not look too suspicious (in terms of dress or differences in social classes. It sucks but they go by such profiling). But they take both IDs and scan them together. These are part of the rules. The hotel staff are told to call the local police if any foreigner checks in or anyone else that looks suspicious. This is just a reporting requirement they have.

What is new to learn for me is, local police periodically visit each hotel at night (once or twice a week) and check the register and ask the hotel staff questions about the guests. If something looks suspicious they can knock at the room and question them. The hotel check in clerk I talked to said 'If that happens, the hotel can not do anything, it is then strictly between the police and the guests to show nothing hanky-panky is going on.

It was quite unsettling. One of my encounters was an outcall and the hotel guy did say that the police these days are questioning them more frequently as he was checking us in. Fortunately, nothing happened.

From what I am told, some hotels have 'good relationships' with LE and they prevent such escalations from happening, so they do not bother white collar guests.

What will be good to know from other folks here are some list of such good hotels (reasonably priced, not 4 or 5 star).

If you want to prevent your ID being scanned with the girl's ID together is to get one comfortable room and one cheap room and have the girl check in with her ID into the cheap room and have her come over. That is what one of the fellow members plan to do and let us see how it works out.
