Have been going to MBC the past several nights for dinner / way early breakfast and I can confirm the scene as WhatsUrName described. Mostly 25+ with at least one child back in a barangay or province somewhere. But yes, there are some young hotties to be found if one is patient enough. Personally I find a few of the waitresses a lot more appealing that the over-the-top made-up hookers and heinous old age 45+ hags that inexplicably still think they can score a date in a place like that.

Maybe they are trying a new business model to make more money. They are adding an incentive for waitresses to work harder.

They also know hard core mongers (and well-heeled East Asian gentlemen) will pay for drinks if they want to play the free-lancer game. I guess they are balancing higher cost of drinks and lower volume sold against higher volumes sold at a cheaper price.

I'm interested in a massage place fairly close to EDSA Shangri La that offers a descent massage and HJ. Be I just can't seem to find anything searching the Internet.

It certainly wasn't that way on my last visit in June though.

You have to wonder what happens if you take a girl there with you. Do you have to pay those prices for her drinks or is it just the usual? Surely the usual?

I want to file a few of my experiences from my first trip to the Philippines. This is an entry from a complete novice so I think most hardened members won't gain much from it.

A few months ago I landed for the 1st time on the soil of the Philippines for 2 months of vacation. Two years ago I had my virgin voyage to South East Asia when I visited Bali. That time I noticed the fact that Asian girls tend to have a charming look and smiles which are adorable. However, all I enjoyed in Bali was just traditional massage. The girls told me the best option for me to catch a relatively cheap taxi ride to my hotel would be from the place where domestic passengers are dropped off. 1000 pesos for a 40 minute back massage and then she flips you over and zeroes in for the HE.
