ALL dealerships are here to make a profit! Methinks it's a fair assumption that everybody of sound mind has a natural inclination to maximize income. It's just some dealers prefer focusing on higher end cliente. There's certainly nothing wrong with different dealerships pursuing different strategies. If they all pursued the same strategy, consumers wouldn't have a choice.

By the way, there is no doubt expensive dealerships attract not just more patrons, but higher class patrons. You don't need a Harvard MBA to project higher net profit for them.

I literally just got back to Aus from a 2 month mongering trip across a bunch of locations: BKK, Pattaya, Jakarta, KL, Phnom Penh, Myanmar (Yangon) , and AC.

I enjoyed the girls and scene in all the places, for different reasons and would go back to all of them (though probably not Thailand anytime soon since I've been there too much over the last few years). But I enjoyed AC most of all, just because of the English factor and am planning to go back there next (hopefully over NYE this year). Although Cambodia is good for this as well with the girls who have been around a while, but many of the stunners in PP are too "fresh" and you run into the language problem.

Speaking of AC, I stayed at the ABC Hotel which was great but I preferred the Perimeter bars more and next time I'll stay at the Lewis Grand.

Anyone know where I can find an ATM (accepting international visa / mastercard cards) near the Lewis Grand / Perimeter area? For example, the ATM outside ABC would not work with my aussie card but I could get money out if I walked to the ATM outside the JJ supermarket on the way to fields.

There was another raid last night. It would be interesting to see how many expats and tourists visit the area after the sex trade is wiped out. What will attract foreigners to this dirty corrupt little Third World town after the pussy is gone. There is just to much revenue generated in AC for the place to close on a local initiative. There would have to be pressure from the top (Manila) , which is unlikely since the protection money is likely distributed throughout the system.

Funny to think what brings it out after all this time. Geckos has been dodgy for years, before I ever started going there. Doesn't anybody remember baby Jane? Baby Jane Marcos is still around. Heard nothing of her for a few years and now I see her starting to show up on a few Facebook pages, she is friends with geckos girls who are definitely after her time, so maybe she is back?

Stay away from geckos, not bcos of this incident, but bcos they have a history of ripping people off. At some point they had the hottest girls around and cheap fields barfines and they could treat their customers like crap. Hopefully now it will die and re-emerge in a better form.

Whoever said that 1 in 1000 Angeles monger read ISG is probably right, however those ISG readers would spend alot more time in AC then non readers and if you just mention police and geckos in passing conversations you have with guys you meet, that will be enough.
