Agree - $80 should be max what we offer. I do agree I gave someone 100 couple of time but they were very good plus it was Friday night and I was in rush and she allowed me to take video of whole act. In my last visit all Girls asked to pay up front. Is this new thing now? I refused to pay upfront and 2 of the girl returned back from room. Learned my lesson. Now I ask before I take the girl to room.

Just went to HK on Saturday and it was great! Lots of women there. Promised my friends I was going to do a lap at least but suffered (probably) from being a newbie in the stripping world in general. I was just not sure who should I ask. There were only a few hand of girls that I was like OK, this is a no brainer, unfortunately I saw all of them going with someone arriba. She can stand there posted up with no business all night, and you can find twenty other girls who are just as hot who are willing to have a drink with you.

In my experience, the girls who hang out on the stairs in the middle of the club tend to be looking for arriba straightaway, but I've still had decent luck asking them to have a beer with me regardless. Just ask a mesero to go fetch her for you, tip him a buck. Or if you're walking past, do it yourself.

Don't know why a girl would turn down your offer for a drink. It's very unusual. Perhaps she was busy with someone else. Don't let one rejection hold you down.

Hypothetically, let's assume that a beer is 18 pesos, and they are using an 18:1 conversion. You will be able to buy it for a dollar. If they decide to implement a 16:1 conversion, suddenly you will be 2 pesos short of the beer. Which might not sound like a big deal, but after many transactions, this difference will start to add up, against the monger's favor.

If they went the other way, and made it 20:1, now it will be in your favor, because now, your dollar will be able to buy that same beer but with 2 p left over. Hope this helps, brother!

Thus if you get a good rate at one of the exchange places in SY, like 18.70, then using pesos is an advantage.

So instead of buying a beer at 4 bucks (72 pesos), you pay 3. 85 bucks for the same beer in pesos. Using pesos with the BG / SG, you will also have the advantage.

Also on my Charles Schwab card, I get even a higher rate.

Since you are in the facility of HK they want to make more profit, for they will squeeze you 16 pesos for that 1 dollar, whereas if you get the true exchange rate you will get 18.5 pesos for that 1 dollar. Therefore using this logic and the examples rates if you pay 100 pesos for a beer with the true exchange rate you will pay $5. 41 (100/18. 5) in contrast if you pay in HK with their exchange rate you pay $6. 25 (100/16).

Read my prior post. DO NOT exchange US dollars in HK, because the rate will be 18 to 1. HK uses that rate when someone is using pesos to pay for their drinks. As said, if you exchange your dollars before you enter Mexico, the rate will be higher, like 18.70. Thus using the rate you got out in town and paying in pesos in the club, you have the money advantage!

HK doesn't base their prices in pesos. It all depends on which currency the business is based on and which currency it floats. If the business floats the peso, a low exchange rate favors the consumer. If the business floats the dollar, a high exchange rate favors the monger. HK and just about every zona bar charges in dollars and floats the peso. So a low exchange rate favors the monger. For example, HK charges $4 usd for a beer. They float the peso. Right now it is at 18:1. So right now you can pay either $4 usd or $72 mn. $72 mn is worth $3. 89 using local casa de cambio rates of 18.5:1. Today's interbank rate is 19.18, so your bank will offer closer to that rate. At 19.18, a $72 mn beer is worth $3.75 usd. Which would you rather pay for a beer? $4 or $3.75? I'm 110% aware of this, Clam was using Wombat's example from 2016 hence the 16 to 1 and 18.5 to 1 example, he just wants an explanation to this logic. I also use Charles Schwab to get money at the ATMs in mexican banks when I need money to use in tijuana, in addition I have two credits cards with no foreign fees that give me good exchange rates. Just like you I only use dollars to feel up women in the bars, not sure where I went wrong in my explanation.

You're assuming HK bases their prices in pesos as well, which is not true. We must never forget that HK's pricing is based on dollars and floating peso. Most businesses in Tijuana do the opposite. For example, Oxxo, Soriana, Pemex, along with the vast majority of businesses base their prices in pesos and float the dollar. Discerning which currency is floated is critical to determining whether a particular exchange rate is favorable or not. If the peso is floated, a low exchange rate is favorable to the consumer. If the dollar is floated, a high exchange rate is favorable to the consumer.

Oxxo bases their prices in pesos and floats the dollar. Let's say a six pack of Tecate Roja costs $100 mn at Oxxo. They float the dollar at 17, which is lower than market. You have a choice, pay $100 mn or $5. 88 usd. Let's say your bank offers pesos at 19:1. Then $5.88 usd = $111.72 mn. It would be favorable to pay $100 mn, since $5.88 usd equals $111.72 mn. So when a business floats the dollar, a low exchange rate benefits the business and is unfavorable to the consumer. Everything being equal, let's say Oxxo floats the dollar at 20:1. Then you can pay $100 mn or $5 usd. Your bank will give you $95 pesos for that $5 usd at 19:1. So would you rather pay $100 mn or $5 which is equal to $95 mn? Of course you would rather pay $5. So in the case of a dollar-floating business with a high exchange rate, it is favorable for the consumer to pay in dollars.

When a business floats the peso, the opposite is true. A low exchange rate favors the consumer, and a high exchange rate favors the business. HK and pretty much all Zona bars charge in dollars and float the peso. Right now, most have it at 18:1. Banks offer pesos at around 19:1. Casa de cambios offer around 18.5:1. Both are above HK's rate of 18:1. So right now, today, you can pay $4 usd or $72 mn for a beer at HK. Your bank will give you $76 mn for your $4 usd at 19:1. So $4 usd = $76 mn. Would you rather pay $4 usd ($76 mn) or $72 mn? Of course you would rather pay $72 mn.

I have a Barclaycard Uber credit card: 4 points back for food, 3 points for travel, 2 points back for online shopping, 1 point back everything else. $100 cash back for that first $500 used. No foreign fees, no annual fees.

Second is Schools first rewards credit card: 1. 5 points back everything, no foreign fees, cash back with no penalties for the first few withdrawals. $100 cash back with first purchase. No annual fees.

I believe the CapitalOne SavorOne is similar to the Barclaycard credit card but the points back for Barclay is better. I don't have this one since they keep rejecting me back for some stupid reason.

Then you got the premiums credit cards like Chase Sapphire reserve which has a lot of perks if you travel a lot but they do have an annual fee of $300 I believe.
