Interesting comment. This explains also why the average price for an indy is going up. A couple of years it was still 150R$ for 1h1i/2, while now it's more around R$300. But if you're clever (or garota-wise) you wont pay these crazy prices.

Yes it is, from january 2009, I remember very well and do not worry, I do not plan at the moment to go to Brazil, ( still trying to arrange for UA... ), I just wanted to thank BB for his pics and well....I regret a bit I did not go to SP...

Bearsk, can you confirm from experience that these garotas speak English? I know sometimes they advertise falsely that they do. For instance, I've already contacted Duda Mello who refuses to answer her emails in English and admits that she can't really speak it.

Also doesn't give you choices on the dial-55 option of calls from USA to sp calls. Maybe you have some of this info.

the site shows the rate, us to brasil mobil at 19.5 cents per minute.
calls to sp landline at 2.2 cents a minute.
i also use the service to call colombia mobil at about 8 cents a minute.

no maintenance fee but they do appear to round up, looking at my call history.

i like the service because you can program your phone number with your pin number in the website for pinless dialing plus on the website you can set up a speed dial address book.
