Quito

Just got back from Ecuador, most of my time there was in El Campo with short stays in two small to medium towns. Piñas and Zamora. See reports on them in the "Other Cities" section. I had two nights in Quito before coming back to the states.

All my prior mongering experience has been in San Jose, but I had read through this forum extensively before the trip, and thanks to Tung's excellent reports I had a fairly good idea of what to expect in Quito and where to find it.

The first day there I was ready for anything. I was staying in gringolandia and wanted to walk around and see the sights while scoping out the chongos. It was still mid-afternoon and most of the nearby ones were closed. Finally I headed on up Carrion to the "green door" place, Night Club Sala VIP, paid my $2, got my warm beer, and went upstairs. There were just a few chicas in sight and maybe 10 or 12 guys in the place. I sat on a loveseat to have room for a chica, and watched the passing show, while drinking my warm beer. Before long a fairly tall negrita with a big ass but not too much overweight sat down and struck up conversation. My Spanish is not fluent, but certainly good enough to get by. She was really not my normal type at all, but sometimes you just have to experiment with the unknown, and I think I might have been just a little bit horny after being out in the Ecuadorian rainforest for some ten days straight. She warmed me up and convinced me to give it a try. Nothing exceptional, but a reasonably good $16, 30 minute session.

The next day I was determined to take my time and look around a little more before choosing my chica. Again it was late afternoon, and I did not feel like taxi-ing out to the recommended spot- Cafe Roja. So I walked all the way up the hill to the two places on Meneses on Tung's list.

First stop was VIP Paradise Women. I think it was $3 to get in, as advertised on Tung's list, but at least the beer was cold. There were only 6 guys there (I think 4 of them worked there) and about 5 chicas, not bad looking but not really my style, and I had made up my mind to hold out for just the right chica. So I left there and went across the street to the other place.

I followed Tung's advise and only paid for the beer to start with, then sat down and had the parade of chicas come by and kiss me on the cheek. My god! I have never seen anything as weird as Masajes Medillin. I just sat there drinking my beer and every time a couple of new guys would come in, the parade would begin again (no kisses after the first shot. Only for the newcomers). Most of them must have paid the full deal in advance, because nearly every one of them made a selection and went hand in hand with their beauty up the stairs. The place is really classy looking but the procedure was just a bit too weird for me and still I had not seen that perfect fit for my taste in chicas.

By then it was a little after 5 PM, still too early for the night places. I scanned down Tung's list and decided to give the VIP 3 Star a try. This time I took a taxi as I had already walked quite a bit and it is clear out by the Parque Carolina. This was my kind of place. A bit sleazy but a large open bar area with plenty of action going on. New faces coming in to replace the ones leaving. I was just relaxing, drinking my beer, watching the chicas and guys playing around, and thinking about where to go next when I spotted her. She was petite, thin, and had a girl-next-door look, not the hardened hooker look. I smiled at her and she reacted, came over and sat next to me. This was it, a gem in a coal mine.

A few minutes of small talk and I was ready to go for it, my $80-per-hour Blue Marlin type chica in a $7 per ficha sleaze bar. "Perfect", I thought. I gave her a twenty, ready for at least 30 minutes of pleasure or more and we went upstairs to one of the little cubby holes where she spread out a fresh sheet on the bed. The unveiling was no disappointment, just as I was hoping for. A tight bodied spinner. It was certainly not the same as bringing a little cutie back to my hotel for an hour or two in San Jose, but thanks to this forum I was not expecting that, and not for $20. I think I used about 30 minutes of my time, and let her keep the $6 cambiar as a propina. A final few minutes of conversation (she said it was her first time there), and then I said hasta luego to Carla. Oh yeah, Tung I owe you. And I think this is your type too, so you might want to stop by there and see if girl-next-door Carla is there again for her first time.

Final thoughts. I really prefer San Jose over Quito despite the better prices, but when in Rome, do as the Romans do.

buddy of mine who is Brazilian had some problems getting his visa to leave Ecuador to go to canada. Took 2 months to get it done. Something that should have taken less than a week to do.

I should have been more specific, Ecuadorian government work ethics are horrible, so if you have to get anything done using them, expect it to be extremely frustrating and take a long time.

No I havent had to go to Brazil yet, so no need for a visa from them yet.

I have not posted before here but have a lot of experience mongering in all parts of Colombia, the DR, Venezuela and now I rarely monger anymore because I am married to a woman from Quito, so I am all set. But was in Quito last week and had 2 days to kill without the wife so I decided to check some places out. Stopped by a few places and went to Club 122 and man, it was loaded with chicas of all shapes sizes and color. I was the only Gringo in there and the guys were all cool, no probs. Even taked with a few guys who told me of other places. 8 dollar fichas and 1:50 beers. Went 2 days and took the creme of the crop upstairs for some roundhouse fun. Sorry, no pics as I cannot chance it but if you speak some spanish, club 122 is very good. If any guys got pissed it was only because all the chicas were all over me, but they were all cool. La galaria was closed both days I went, so was not able to check it out. Well, take care gents. I will be back in Quito in September and will check out a few different places if time permits.

You are impressed 9 months after my departure? I am impressed to be still posting. I know Quito's clubs and pussies are not for many guys but they obviously made an impression on me. Seems every country in South America I have visited since knocks me down one more level in terms of enthusiasm. The subsequent never equals or surpasses the precedent?

I have now travelled Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay. In perspective I view Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia as three large Indian reserves; cheap. I view Chile and Argentina as anomalies of the Latino world (central/south America). As fucked up as they may be in their own light they are a tier above their neighbors in terms of general stability.

Of the three Indian reserves Lima has many tasty-looking spinners but one has to deal with a shithole of a city to get them. Lima is not pretty. La Paz in Bolivia is pretty but chica-quality is minimal. Quito is my fave of the three cities due to what I consider to be its advantages over Lima and La Paz: (1) Manabi's beautiful chicas, (2) the northern/coastal negritas, (3) the overflow of Columbians, and (4) in terms of safety it sits in the middle of volatile Lima and sleepy La Paz.

I passed on sampling chicas in Chile due to expense. Buenos Aires' central clubs are too pricey for my budget; in addition I don't care much for the apartment setups, even if they be cheaper than central's clubs. I should have pursued exploration in BA's suburbs for more blue-collar clubs but after a degree of unmet expectations it cooled my enthusiasm. As Paraguayan chicas dominate the Buenos Aires market I am currently in Asuncion, Paraguay scoping it out. While initial results were promising this is no Quito; peculiar since it is double Quito's population. Brazil -- Rio -- one of your favorites is up next. Bubba Boy's Rio Guide is a great read. I had to laugh when I read:

All said, in due time I will probably swing by Quito again for the close of my South American tour.

What you say is interesting.

I have been reading on sites like planet-love that Peru is an excellent place to find non-pros but the women generally don't have enough...european blood... hence you will find more of an "indegena" look which many find unattractive. The girls that have more of the "latin" are never in the poorer areas or are never poor. You will most likely find that look in the middle/upper classes and they are not normally non-pro material.

Bolivia sounds promising if you stay in Santa Cruz but again no luck with non-pros that look lighter unless you go for the india look for me. some guys like the full on india. I prefer a mix or euro look.

Yeah, Help is...okay. It is definitely an experience, no doubt about that.

As far as your water wings, many of the termas have hot tubs in their suites, but termas Centaurus actually has a "health center" with a swimming pool, so you can do some dives and really impress the girls!

Well, Masajes Medellin is suppose to be open 7 days a week, but I never checked it out on Sundays, and I've read conflicting reports about whether it actually IS open on Sundays; perhaps it depends on whether any girls show up that day. Just make sure you go to Masajes Medellin and not Resorte Medellin, since the latter is not open on Sundays.

Yeah, the old Colombian lady is pretty scary. But I bet she was pretty hot 20 years ago.

My take on tipping in the chongos of Quito is, always start out low. If the girl thinks it's not enough, you can always give her more. I found that most girls were happy with a $1 tip, a few wanted more and I usually ended up giving in to their demand (especially if I wanted to fuck them another day), but for the most part, $1 shut them up. Sometimes, even a 50 cent coin worked. In retrospect, I wonder what would have happened if I had just offered a quarter? At what point does this become tacky, I ask myself. But I digress.

Anyways, just to put it in perspective, most locals don't tip anything.

As part of this, of course, I wanted to know where Ecuador / Quito fits in the big picture (and eventually how many threads have detailed lists advising members where to go for P4P). Consider this research for an up and coming Quito advertising campaign by marketing company Tungurahua Inc. (Lest someone take me seriously I disclose: I'm joking.) For the more places I visit and/or read about helps me to gain insight in 'painting' the perfect Quito Fuckclub List. Results are:
