The casas have some very good-looking young girls. Just have to find a cab driver to take you there.

However, with the current exchange $US = 40 Php, that 's only $20 for all night. That looks way to low for casa girls.

Most reports indicated that, MBC girls, even the old, ugly ones, want about 1500. 2000 Php for ST. The casas want 3000- 4000 Php plus tips for all night.

Please confirm the figures.

Thanks[/QUOTE]Assuming that you are arriving at terminal 1. After luggage pickup and customs walk across the arrival hall, walk through the exit doors and then immidiately turn straight left.

Less than 50 meters from the exit you will find a small booth marked "metered taxis". They will ask you where you want to go, and a service guard will hand you a small slip on which he will write the license number of the taxi you get. On the slip is also printed information about what to do and where to call if you have any problems or complaints after the ride. In which case the license number is useful information. However this is only for precaution. I have never experienced any trouble at all with taxis from this booth.

The driver will without hesitation turn on the meter, so no discussion or hassle about the price. During the ride he will probably offer you his card and tell you to call him during your stay. Especially if you "don't have a girlfriend and want to meet nice filipinas".

Give the driver a small tip upon arrival at your destination. I suggest 10 % of the meter price.

I can recommend Pearl Lane Hotel in Ermita. Walking distance to MBC and Robinson's Mall.

Official adress is 1700 M. Orosa St, Corner Gen. Malvar St. The taxi fare would be around 400 PHP.

They have super friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Have a nice stay there. I hope you get this answer before your departure.

This is the most interesting info to hit the Manila thread in ages. You make mention of a tourist rate versus the local. How much was the tourist rate as we are not going to receive the local, you the being the exception, and deservedly so?
