CBP staff are the most unpreditable bunch. / Handicapped lane usage
all i can say, cbp can be brutal in questioning if they suspect and send you to secondary and more.
something to consider.
i saw someone just like that coming back on a saturday morning around 11. this dude had a cane, a rolling suitcase, and was moving at a pretty good speed. he did the same, went through the sentri gate, and bounced over to the handicapped lane. wtf?
La Malquerida Bar vs La Valentina Shout out.
La Valentina is slow moving, La Malquerida is more unpredictable.
Music is limited. Moving beat.
Chica demanding drinks Privado option.
No Privado Easy to mingal.
I have not stepped into La Valentina for some time.
Yes La Valentina is a brothel bar just a smaller scale than HK and Adelita. While they do have a dance floor that the patrons can use it is also used for floor shows. There are usually 10 to 20 girls working there. The price they want to go to the room is usually 60 but with a bit of negotiating you can get to 40 or 50. In the wee hours the place gets pretty busy with off duty BG's and people who work in the near by clubs. Also a good place to drink without spending a lot, 2 beers for around $3. 50.
SD Blue line parking station
Parking an older car at Blue line trolley station would save the $20 but not the same security level as the parking lot.
Last night, I went cross the border for some panocha. I have been going to Tijuana for 25 years, and for years have been parking at the dumpy motel next to the JITB. Now, I haven't gone on a weekend night for a long time, but usually was accustomed to paying like $7 on a busy night, $4 during weekdays. I get there at 10 pm, and the guy says $20, I am like fuck that shit, I will park at the lot across the freeway. So I park over there and found out why. The new pedestrian way over totally sucks. Before, it didn't matter what side you parked on, now it does. It is a very long walk now.
Greyhound bus from San Diego to Tijuana
Hey gang,
I was reading about the border crossing times. Has anyone tried Greyhound from Tijuana to San Diego? Is the bus station area safe to go in and out of and how far from the HK is the bus station as far as cab cost.
Thanks to the veterans for all of the information. I am going to be there November 2, 4 and 5. Anyone interested in a beer or two and some hunting?
