On day 4 of 5 on our first trip here, staying in the walled city and a great airBNB my buddy and I have had awesome times finding girls at clock tower, tinder, photoprepagos, we might hit LDV tonight just haven't had the need to so far. Plenty of 8's and 9's in our opinion and all are accepting 150 mil.
Overall we find the girls are more generous than the girls in DR or CR (our past mongering experiences).
Thanks to all who passed along valuable info leading up to our trip.

I read a lot of information on this forum before making my first trip to Colombia, and, even though I doubt I have a lot of new information to share, I thought I should contribute at least a little bit. Maybe it will help someone?
I stayed in Centro. I wasn't very adventurous being my first experience with the place. I spent a few days just taking tours, sightseeing, and enjoying the atmosphere. The beaches in the city aren't great, but it was only eight mil to get there by taxi, so I saw no reason not to stay in the heart of the action and night life instead of at some tower down in Bocagrande.
I stayed in hotels. No they weren't guest friendly. It doesn't matter. There are several hourly places within easy walking distance of the clock tower / clubs, and they're perfectly fine for what you're using them for. The girls know where they are and it's perfectly safe. They charged 50 mil. I have no idea whether that was right or for how long I paid. No one ever knocked on a door, and I was there for more than a hour sometimes.
I didn't feel like picking up anyone from the plaza de Los coches (clock tower). I could have. It's just very public. Also, there are definitely some of questionable age there. Better to go elsewhere where you know they're checking ID unless you've seen them in both places. And you will. The same girls in the square will go to the clubs later.
A hundred (no exaggeration) guys are going to try to "help" you find a chica. I have no idea why. They're all standing right there. Anyway, as a solo traveler I had more than enough time to talk with the guys standing around selling stuff to know prices and haggle even though I had no intention of buying. 150 mil isn't outrageous in the square. Haggle for everything really. It's still probably cheaper in the store, but at least you feel like you won a little bit. (You didn't. The guy still won.).
Oh. There's a twenty four hour convenience store fifteen seconds walking from the clock tower. Buy your smokes there. 8 mil a pack instead of whatever nonsense the guys in the square are asking.
Also, if you're a coffee addicted northerner like me, who needs the caffeine even when it's 35 degrees Celsius out, Juan Valdez Cafe is your Tim Hortons substitute. They're everywhere, the coffee is good, and the service is. Ummm. Really slow!
Isis. Went in. Hard to avoid since dozens of guys are trying to take people there. Not a strip club like I think of. The girls stand around doing nothing. Eventually one talks to you. 750 mil toda la noche, 300 mil one hour offered. Didn't negotiate. Wasn't interested.
Know a little Spanish. It's not that hard to get some basics. No puedo ayuda todos is pretty useful. Ya lo tengo came in handy a lot. They may not even be correct but they get the point across.
It's a late night city. Like really late night. Do your sightseeing during the day. Have a siesta. There's no one at LDV until 11:00 PM. The party goes until 4:00 AM though. Expect noise. It's all good. Party like you're young again (assuming you aren't still).
LDV and Space. Ok, I went into Space a few times. I didn't really feel it though. I spent more time in LDV. One night Space was charging a 20 mil cover. I laughed and went back into LDV. Honestly, LDV was the place I really enjoyed. That might not be true for everyone, but it might give some insight into my preferences.
LDV gets crowded! Like seriously can't move crowded. One minute it's empty then it's 11:30 pm and you can't move. Every night of the week. It's also fun. You can't sit though unless you're in some sort of group that has arranged to spend enough money to reserve a table. Who needs to sit though? You can't dance if you're sitting!
What else can I say. The girls are that hot. At least most of them. They'll spend time dancing with you even if you don't know what you're doing. You will probably end up buying them a drink or two. No big deal. Even at inflated club prices a beer is only 17 mil. It's fun. Then you pick one and she takes you to one of the short time motels which, as I mentioned, aren't awful. If you end up stuck with the same girl you went with the night before latching onto you, and are too nice to blow her off, console yourself with the fact that she's hot, it's fun, and the sex was good. It's not a wham bam thank you senorita is what I'm saying. It's a night out at the club where you always get the girl in the end. Oh. I didn't haggle here. 250 mil was what I was offered and I took it. If I should be ashamed, I'm sorry.
Next time, now that I have a feel for it, I'll try to be a little more adventurous. I'm certainly curious about some of those clubs outside of the walled city. And there will be a next time. Colombia (Cartagena and Medellin anyway) is beautiful, and a great time. I'll be back. Thanks for all the information you provided me before I went, and maybe this will help someone else.

Yes some chicas will shoot the higher price but the key is to first tell them what you are offering and not to ask them how much. If you do this then they most certainly will quote you a higher rate.
To the gentleman that was wondering about the 50 k rooms, yes that is the rate for 1 hour at Hotel and Suites near the Clock Tower, LDV and Space. If you go at the time the clubs let out there is a good chance that all the rooms can be booked.

Some accepted 150 K, but others flatly refused, and some only started at 300 K and not even budged. 100 K is basically what I paid in CTG 10 years ago. I see 200 K as fair rate, but parted with much more on occasion.
I had an enjoyable few days in Medellin in 2018, with several sessions in the El Centro casas for 40-60 k, which I reported on. I've gone through 6 pages of the Cartagena forum, and haven't found info on anything similar. Is there anything like the MDE casas in Cartagena? Thanks for any help.

LDV Space Isis the clock tower. I seriously don't see what his are talking about. Regardless if it was a weekday or the weekend the talent was disheartening. The girls prices are so obnoxious here that I can't find it feasible to pay for a girl unless she is fucking fine. I keep reading on here where everyone keeps saying these girls are super hot but I'm just not seeing it. After coming from Medellin this talent pool just isn't cutting it. Yes I know that everyone has different tastes but regardless of your into flacas like me or thicker women. Young or older. Tall or short. None of that matters in the scale of how hot a girl is. Pretty face nice smile nice natural ass. That's the bare minimum that I seek. Obviously energy and personality mean a lot more at times but the only spots worth hanging out at are LDV and the clock tower and all I see are average or below average looking women. And these ugly ass bitches got the nerve to ask for 200 mil plus for a fucking hour. I swear this scene is pathetic. I've actually seen hotter girls at playa Hollywood during the day then I've seen at night. And trust me I have tried to lower my standards. My main point is these spots are not full of 8 and 9's. Your lucky to find one or two of those on any given night. Just giving a new perspective to anyone getting hyped from reading so these fantasy stories that are on this thread so you know to expect reality.

Anyone have any recent recommendations for massage parlors here in Cartagena? I am not looking for a brothel or a prostitute. That obviously isn't hard to find here LOL. But I'm looking for some spots that I can get a nice legit massage and a happy ending of course. Tried searching this thread but nothing specific came up and online Google searches aren't helpful. Let's not even start with asking around. These taxi guys only seem to care about taking you to brothels because that's obviously where they will get the biggest cut from bringing customers.
