Hi guys, yesterday I saw a notice in front of Dollhouse,"No photos, no cameras". Oooops, lets say in 2009, there was every evening photo-shooting in DH as if there's no tomorrow.
Anyone knows why this change in policy?
Cheers!
As other board members tell you.
Her cut will be about 1000 and if she is a performer, they expect about a 500 pese tip for an all nighter, so the 1500 seems ok if she honors her part of the deal.
There are all kinds of girls over there, with barfines going from just under 1500 to well over 3000 depending on the club, the type of girl (waitress, showgirl, dancer. Or dady's girls.)
She will not be in risk of losing her job if you meet on her day of BEFORE you barfined her in her bar.
In the other case she might be playing with fire as the bar expects her to give them their part of a barfine she met you at work regardless if it is her day of (is she sees you on her day of she is expected to be working.)
Girls in AC usually receive 40-60% of the BF. I have to say that the prices in AC have gone up faster than the normal inflation rate. I used to pay the BF (1000) and the girls never expected a tip. Now, even with the higher BF, girls also expect a tip for LT. It is getting more expensive in AC and is starting to catch up to Manila prices.
The girls in the Manila / Makati bars like EDSA comples do not receive any of the bf so they expect a tip depending on ST (2000) or LT (up to 4500).
My opinion, Manila has the hottest girls but AC has a higher concentration in one location. Have fun, I am getting ready for my annual Christmas trip to the Phils.
hey guys,

the department of immigration has reassigned all the local pampangan personnel at dmia (clark). the new personnel are black listing anyone that doesn't treat them with respect.
this new team is routinely stopping philippine girls trying to go to thailand even if they are with their boyfriends saying they suspect [CodeWord908]. if the guy is rude or raises his voice they are finding themselves black listed the next time they return to the philippines. i have now heard of 4 different guys being black listed in the last 30 days.
here is another email i got this morning:
"a few days ago, i arrived at clark around midnight via tiger airways. i reached the immigration desks far earlier than any other passenger, and since there was no one ahead of me or behind me, i ducked under the cordon and stepped up to the start of the line. the immigration officer saw this and scolded me for not "following the line". i replied that i was sorry and next time i would walk around (even though i consider it ridiculous to have to walk the maze when there's no one ahead of you).
well, that wasn't enough for this fella. with his eyes bulging, he ordered me to go back to the end of the line and walk up to the desk again, this time following the lines. at this point, there was still no one behind me. no one was even approaching yet. i asked him in disbelief if he was serious. if he really wanted me to basically walk in a circle for no good reason. he just repeated his order, and being pissed off at his stupidity and arrogance, i muttered "this is bullshit" and did as he demanded. when i got back to his desk a few seconds later, he left his booth, approached me, and confirep001ed my passport. after keeping me waiting behind his booth for about an hour with no explanation, i was approached by other officials who told me that i was "excluded" and would be put on the next flight back. the official reason stated on
the exclusion order was "arrogance".
i spoke with the officer again and apologized, but he didn't want to hear it. no one at the airport would even let me approach the immigration office to appeal this ridiculous exclusion. after about 6 hours of waiting on a couch in a back office area, i was escorted to the next available flight and didn't receive my passport until i was off the plane at my destination.
so, after speaking with an attorney in the philippines, i would be able to get off the blacklist in 7-10 days for a fee of 350, 000p. yeah right. i guess i'm going to have to figure out how to jump through the hoops by myself. anyway, thought i'd share this experience of my run-in with an immigration officer on a power trip".

posted by jc on 2011-12-02
my goodness what an amazing report. it can be summed up as "prats with power".
few years ago i had a run in with a female immigration clerk in naia. i regularly took the 7am manila cx hk flight and i often encountered a bad tempered immigration clerk. i would politely ask " would you mind stamping next to that stamp in order that i can protect what little passport page space i have?". the reply from this jumped up nobody was always " i have the stamp and i will decide where to put it!". and of course she would then deliberately stamp in the middle of a page to waste it.
after 3 or 4 of therse ocassions i sought out her superior to render a comment and complaint. supervisor was another waste of space but said he would arrange so that my complaint could be delivered electronically. i received an email that stated i should describe why i was complaining about a civil servant, i should include the sworn written statements of 3 witnesses, i should include a deposit to show my sincerity and i should enclose my own affidavit witnessed by a lawyer in which i recorded my complaint. clearly these " little useless emperors" are happy clinging to their tiny power base. i truly hope these idiots are subject to the sefl same abuses when they travel to more advanced and overwhelmingly more enlightened countries.

Cheers!
Just two years ago I could pull my camera out in about any bar on fields and snap away. The dancing girls would pose like crazy and knock other girls out of the way so they could pose. A year later, several bars would not allow pics. Just a few months back, I got flak from about half the bars I went into where I pulled out a camera. No posted signs saying "No cameras" that I noticed. But when I pulled my camera out the dancers or waitresses would start shouting "No pitchers!" and waving their hands. The other half of the bars the girls were still tripping over themselves to pose (that includes the waitress too). Filipinas are pose-crazy.

http://immigration.gov.ph/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=41&itemid=34
this link to philippines immigration reveals reasons why a visitor could be denied entry. official reasons include: people coming to commit a crime, insane people, sex tourists, migrant workers, etc."arrogance" is not one of those reasons. i bet he cannot produce the official exclusion notice he claims to have received to prove his story.
the philippines is hurting for tourists and i doubt they have a standing policy of booting people without good reason. imagine travel agents not promoting tourism to the philippines because their clients are getting turned away at the airport.
by the way, how is it possible for him to be at the lines way before other passengers? even after the officer told him to get back in line, he said 'no one was even approaching yet'. that sounds rather fictitious considering how small the airport is. he would have to have literally sprinted off the flight. if he did, i find it incredulous why, being in such a hurry, he would have time to argue with the airport officer instead of simply doing as instructed.
also, check out the schedule of arrivals at clark from the official clark airport website. notice around midnight is the busiest arrival time for clark. even in the unlikely event he sprinted off the flight pass fellow passengers, there would have likely been passengers on other flights in line. i don't believe the immigration lines could be completely devoid of people.
also, if i recall, there are no snaking lines at dmia. there's just straight. that is, unless the arrangement has changed in the last 6 months.
also, how can the guy get turned away and not get his passport handed back until he was 'off the plane' at destination? was the flight attendant holding his passport on the flight? if he's already 'excluded', what would be the point of airline personnel holding his passport?
even if it's true, the guy in the story did something incredibly stupid. look, the philippines is known for corruption. at a philippine point-of-entry, the visitor should only be concerned with one thing: to get through immigration and enter the country. how stupid must one be to say 'this is bullshit' to one of their officers. when i'm entering, i say 'yes sir' or 'yes ma'am'.
ultimately, none of us have an inalienable right to enter the philippines. so just swallow your ego and do what airport officers say.
Are you saying people write fiction on ISG?
Just because arrogance isn't listed doesn't mean the authorities did not kick him out based on that. Filipinos make up their own reasons, rules, regardless of the laws. Only way to contest that is to employ an Attorney, but doubt if any were around the airport at the time. Saying bullshit to immigration is silly and is arrogant. I overheard an American woman say worse to officials on departing the Philippines, but she had an advantage, she was leaving the country, LOL. If they refused entry to sex tourists the economy would crash, LOL.
The report was passed onto me by a normally reliable third party, but I'm afraid I can't verify that it's authentic.
Why on earth would anyone make up such a story? Then again, I suppose there must be people out there with a grudge against immigration.
why on earth would anyone make up such a story? then again, i suppose there must be people out there with a grudge against immigration.
maybe he got his umbrella confirep001ed by airport personnel.
very little of his story makes even remote sense. do you honestly think the "official reason" on his exclusion order was "arrogance"?
maybe he got his umbrella confirep001ed by airport personnel.
that may happen on departure, not on arrival.

I think it is definitely embellished. Black listings are simply NOT handed out with such reckless abandon. And ALL Bureau Of Immigration officers are not assholes contrary to what some of you would want us to believe.
However, the bottom line is still true. Don't raise your voice; keep calm and follow the rules, no matter how absurd you might think they are. You are a visiting guest in a foreign country.

Yes, in Manila area there are the hottest girls but you do not need BFs there. I just choose a hot freelancing working girl or a regular girl. For a freelancing working girl there's not need to pay more than 1500 PHP (ST) or 2500 PHP (LT) from my POV.

Lighten up, and do you think her superior would care. Sec 29. (a) The following classes of aliens shall be excluded from entry into the Philippines.
1. Idiots or insane persons and persons who have been insane;
Rule 1 keep idiots out of Philippines, I wish they enforced it more as go to any bar and see the number of sex tourist making idiots of themselves
So next time mention why you are here "Prostitute, or procurers, or persons coming for any immoral purpose;"
no wonder the pi is so fucked up when they give authority like that to the mindless idiots at immigration. however, the immigration officer i had in san francisco was not much better. it took my guy 30 minutes to search through my luggage upon return. he simply could not believe i was gone for 35 days giving lectures on management topics (of course with some mongering in between). i told him i gave lectures on improving efficiency and asked if he wanted to attend one. of course then he really slowed down into absurdity. i asked him if i could help him find something and he just got even pissier. i understand security but holy crap just be efficient and stop wasting travelers' time!
