Once dollhouse group changed their policy from cameras always welcome to ""but not during body painting shows", the ONLY reason I EVER saw to go there ceased to exist. Now they are even more hostile to cameras (though still nowhere near as hostile as in LOS). I asked the manager who said it was "temporary" because of all the raids etc. That was in October. 95% of Filipinas love to pose; its the bar that is the problem in most cases although some are friendlier than others (and the rules are not enforced evenly; friends of barowners get much more leeway).

Ah the immigration folks. They run the gamut from very friendly to the most unpleasant, hostile people you can imagine. Having taken my Filipina GF out of prison on several occasions AFTER having to get her removed from the Blacklist because she was barred from meeting me overseas when leaving Clark on our first attempt. Now I go meet her and we leave together and get nothing but smiles and "when are you getting married". She was traumatized after the first incident and it took all my persuasive powers to get her to try again with me with her.

So I offer a few nuggets of advice:

1. NEVER be rude no matter how absurd and incompetent. It is a CRIME to "verbally or physically assault" immigration officers; signs to that effect are posted at every booth. The definition of verbal assault is so amorphous that "arrogance" could be equated with verbal assault. Just be as nice as you can.

2. Manila is MUCH better than Clark.

3. If your GF has no stamps in her passport, you better meet her in PI and depart with her on ANY foreign trip. I've seen DOZENS bared from leaving for a myriad of reasons. YOU have the burden of proving she is not being trafficked. The younger and poorer she is, the more odious this burden is. And do NOT assume that just because you are with her they will not give her the third degree. Better to havre her name on hotel reservations etc to prove it is a legitimate vacation rather than a way station on the way to a job in Iraq, the Gulf, or some prohibited place.

4. Under the Arroyo regime, the Church could get foreigners blacklisted for criticizing it. HOPEFULLY PNoy has stopped this, but you can be banned VERY EASILY and they don't give a Piso about the loss of revenue. While I much prefer Filipinas to Thais, I readily admit that are not as smart, organized or as entrepenurial (hence the abject poverty). In fact they may be the stupidest people on Earth, but I still love their women above all others.

The PI government don't give a rat look at how they handle the Hong Kong hostage, they will not apoligise to the HK people how poor they handle thing and stop promotion tourism to Hong kong tourist, they need more tourist to visit so the people and business can survive, if not for the cheap p4p there are no reason to go to PI so what next they will charge for visa for third world country like vietnam, Cambodia and Lao.

Specially when the renewal process takes 4 weeks minimum.

Oh and not forgetting I go through a 48 page pasport once a year. Cost. Total irrelevance compared to the time when a little Immigration help would negate the need to renew so frequently.

Then again maybe living in the squalor of Cebu has gotten to you.

I would like to thank all brothers here that have responses to my earlier posting about DIA girls working as waitress in a club there.

Pardon me for not able to have it answer one by one of your responses but your comments are very informative to me, specially a first timer to this place.

Initially, due to my immigration papers that I have been working for the past several days from the day I landed this country, I though I will not be able to have time visiting AC but now that I finally have it done. So in this case, I will only have 1 night available to stay in AC as I need to be back for my departure from the Philippines. So,

1) is it advisable to spend one night in AC or I better try next time with more enough time to feel the place?

2) Should I bring my passport there? Is there any border checkpoint? I will be travelling by Victory line (bus)? If possible, for security reason, I don't want to bring so much valuables thing with me to AC.

3) I understand throught my reading in the forum, the Barfine you pay is before you take the girls out? Will this prompted the girls to be not fullfilling the deeds instead of overnighter, they only do short time? although some have mentioned can be refunded , is this usually happend?

Why not I have stay one night only at AC before is only a short trip from Manila, most hotel need a passport for check in you can ask to keep safe deposit box at your Manila hotel some will charge you for one day some don't if you have booking for return, this will give you a feel of AC you might like it if you don't is only for one night, you can also take the PI rabbit bus from Avenida bus station near China town 160 peso stop in Dau first and then to AC bus station you can ask driver to drop you off at corner of Field and Mcarthur HWY.

Having said that, I had my camera with me and took pictures of both myself and one of my fucklets, so it looks like you can still take your camera inside, just no photos of the dancers or shows.

BTW, good bar recommendation re: Pony Tails. That bar has the best afternoon line up I have seen. And happy hour beers are only 50 pesos.

On that note, I'm now off to monger in Macau; you may continue your discussion about PI immigration laws and extra passport pages!

If you arrive at 9pm and have to leave again to go back at 9am, forget about it.

2) Of course no border. Hotel may ask for passport but I think a copy will do the job. Victory Liner is okay and safe, no worries.

3) Yes, payment upfront and runners are possible. As I understood, nowadays more often than a few years back.

The immigration officers are the only ones to decide who's an idiot and even if I have a PhD in Engineering, if they don't like my nose and consider me an idiot, they can send me back. I guess there is nothing much I can do. Best thing is to be humble and polite and get through as quickly as possible.

Immigratrion lady just put the stamp somewhere and when returning the guy had trouble locating the stamp. I went to the USA embassy in Manila and they added pages within a day for free. Nowadays adding pages are not free. However if you want more pages when changing passport there is one with more pages you can request.

When I had lived in Shenzhen and frequently travelled to Hong kong the stamps fill up pages not counting some travel Shenzhen-Macau- BKK as well.

Cambodia and vietnam take full pages. I wish they would make electronic recording and get rid of all these stamping business. Long time ago when I returned to US they did not put a stamp.
